• Area permissions Admin subject OBIEE

  I'm trying to accomplish two things related to securing the subject box.  I'm not able to do either with the OBIEE Admin tool as I believe it should work but haven't found a long work around for one using the Administration manage the privileges in the responses.  Here are the two challenges:

  (1) cannot create the table based on security in the administration tools of OBIEE that works when it is deployed to the OBIEE server:

  Location: In the OBIEE administration tool I have:

  • Field 'ARG' who has the following permissions:
    • Authenticated user (defined as reading have no fault in option)
    • GRA Analytics ()set read/write)
    • GRA course Analytics (set read/write)
    • All other responsibilities are defined by default
  • Within the area of topic GRA, I have a table named 'Global' with the following permissions:
    • Authenticated user (defined as reading have no fault in option)
    • Analytics ARG (as default)
    • GRA course Analytics (set read/write)
    • All other responsibilities are defined by default
  • I have a user configuration with the responsibility of 'Analytics ARG' but NOT the responsibility of GRA Secure Analytics
  • The user is authenticated using LDAP by Siebel (where the responsibilities are assigned

  Desire:

  • When the user connects to answers and opens the topic GRA they would see all tables EXCEPT the global table

  Undesirable result:

  • The user is able to see the GRA area but also sees the global table
  • I find users in the groups of roles/catalog and they DO NOT have the role of GRA Secure Analytics ( do not have the role of GRA analytics.)

  Note: My second question which I included below directly impact on the question of the top of the page.

  (2) cannot create the topic in that security based in administrative tools of OBIEE that works when it is deployed to the OBIEE server:

  • If I connect to answers with my Admin user account I can select Administration-> manage privileges
  • Find the ARG area and then set the permissions of responsibility Through analytics and GRA Secure Analytics as "Granted".
  • When the user logs in the responses with the analytical GRA or the responsibility of GRA Secure Analytics they see the ARG area, but if they don't have the responsibility that they don't see it.

  Problems with work around:

  • Makes assigning permissions in OBIEE Admin obsolete tool
  • Cannot assign table level permissions here and therefore cannot solve the first problem listed
  • Still not sure why to set permissions in the OBIEE administration tool are ignored

  If you could help me find a solution that gets the work tool OBIEE Admin permissions it would be greatly appreciated.

  I have the feeling you haven't exactly how these things works.

  In the authorization in the 'Authenticated users' administration tool means that every single user in turning to the stage of connection.

  "Read" is enough to see and use (scan on) an object.

  "Read/write" If you want to make updates to your data through OBIEE.

  (2) only members of the roles GRA Analytics & GRA Secure Analytics app must be able to see these topic: 'see' means hide or display in the front end, it's something you manage (as you did in the privileges to manage in the front-end server. If you want to restrict the user to use the subject box (this is what is permission to Admin tool) you will need to attach "Authenticated user" to "No access", all other roles 'Default' (= 'Access forbidden') with the exception of your 2 app Analytics ARG and ARG Secure Analytics roles for which you set the 'Read' permission

  (1) just use the same "recipe" (2): 'Authenticated user' to 'Access forbidden', GRA Analytics also on "Access forbidden" and only Through Secure analytics on 'reading '.

  Give it a try.

  Just keep in mind that Manage privileges works in a different way than the tool Admin permissions. Privileges to manage 'decline' is the highest permission. If an app role has 'decline' and another 'allow' and you are a member of both you will have the "decline" applied to you.

  In the Admin tool, it's the opposite: If one role of the app does not have 'access' and another 'read' and you are both Member you will have permission to 'read '.

• The new tool Selection and mask hatred!

  Get rid of the tool refine edge is probably the largest in the history of the Socialist Party. I like this tool and use constantly to get my masks just as it should. Select new and mask the tool only works on layers pixelated. I understand that for the detection/RADIUS tool to work correctly the mask must be on a pixel layer. However, this tool is not all that refine edge offers! The smooth, feather, contrast and update tools are extremely powerful, as well as quick and easy access, when you work with masks on adjustment layers. My quick shortcut to refine the edge is no longer works. I have to drag the mask to a layer pixel or find other ways to adapt. None is as effective as a fast/command R option and typing in my settings that I tab by refinements. I am EXTREMELY frustrated and disappointed. Does anyone know of any workaround solutions to return refine edge? Help, please!

  I thank everyone for your comments here, we are actively looking for the behaviors described. If you have files that you can send us where you see a significant deterioration in output using select and mask, we want these files. They will help us identify specific problems in the flow of work and with the underlying algorithm.

  One of the behaviors described in this thread is that select and mask only works on a pixel layer. It is a bug (we have a difficulty, that we are working on) and in the meantime, a workaround is available by double clicking on the mask to enter the select space and no mask on layers of pixels.

  We are looking for also actively to the performance of the brush edge refine subtract - please stay tuned for updates over here that we are building a case to identify exactly what might be the underlying problem.

  This is the first version of Select and mask, but we have on our backlog of adding other tools in this space in order to allow a greater number of workflow. More to come here.

• banner of AAA authentication

  I have configured the banner authentication aaa and aaa fail message on a router running 12.1 (15) - authentication is done by ACS 3.0.2 which works very well.

  Problem - the banner of authentication does not appear (nothing is outside of "username:"-don't not even 'check' user access) If you enter a wrong password, but the failure message. If I console in and unplug the interface while the two messages very well.

  Workaround solution - if I set up a connection "banner" then everything works fine too, but I can't work out why does not display the "banner of aaa authentication."

  I suspect ACS prevents the message, but I can't work out how - can anyone suggest a solution?

  By the way that the command "radius-server administration '? It doesn't seem to be documented, and it has no effect or not.

  The banner command does not work if you make the RADIUS authentication, it will not work if you do a RADIUS/local/etc. This is normal, cause with Ganymede you can have the sending server banner and guests down (even if with all I don't think that you can do) and so if you have configured authentication GANYMEDE the router does not take into account the banner command and waits to see if she gets a new one from the server RADIUS itself. If it is not it will simply display the usual guests.

  As for the 'radius-server admin' command, honestly, I have no idea, never seen anyone use. Online help says "start the daemon of Ganymede management administrative messages", but what really I don't know, maybe someone else can help.

  You can do is go in tools > admin CSM. Under archived, you can go and delete the archives of all your devices and only let the last 10 for example.

  Which should reduce significantly the disc.

• I refine my selection brush tip is a circle with a line through it

  I don't know what is happening, but every time Adobe updated the program happens something evil. I use edge tool I refine my selection for years and now with the last update from last night, it does not work.

  • I make my selection then click on refine edge
  • This opens the dialog box
  • I select the overlay as my display mode
  • Then select the RADIUS tool refine

  Instead of the normal work with any brush I get is a circle with a line through it, so I can't say anything.

  Have they added a new switch that automatically prevents the user to use this tool now? Worked fine a few days before the last update.

  The biggest problem with these questions is they always happen when you change a photoshoot and cost ridiculous amounts of time and frustration and to prevent on time delivery.

  I guess that Yes JJMack, but to reinstall everything is a pain in the occipital region. I'm on CC and as updates come just click to install. Refining the edges of the selection is such a basis now that I'm surprised that that happened.

  Finally, I called Adobe and solved it. The tech told me that with a few updates the "user settings" file is corrupt.

  He would do a total reset but of course I'm worried of losing work spaces I had worked to build so it copied those on the desktop, then named the settings file... "old"and challenged market PS

  Who have to rebuild the settings file, and we tried again and still had the problem, so he tried a second time and on that one edge tool refine magically started working again.

  My workspaces were rmoved to the right folder and these work now too.

  Now, I can get this finished filming.

• Problem with ADF JDeveloper 12 c to Glassfish deployment

  I'm new to JDeveloper/ADF, but not for the JSF, etc.. I'm trying to load a simple application of the ADF (a single entity object and object of a view in a model project and a jsf page where I dropped the view of the data control object). We use Glassfish so I'm trying to deploy it and am following blog Shay Shmeltzer (https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/deploying_oracle_adf_applications_to), which deploys on a server Glassfish 3.1 JDeveloper 11. So I use the last JDeveloper, which can be a problem?

  I don't see what about the NullPointerException.

  It is a server Glassfish 3.1.2.2. I get the same message that I have deploy JDeveloper or GlassFish (just try to download the .ear file). Blog of Shay, subsequently, I loaded jars adf-essentials in the zip file and changed the parameters of the JVM. In JDeveloper, I right click on the application and will deploy and click the deployment profile. I click on deploy to the application server and choose my local server to Glassfish.

  OK, my problem was my deployment descriptor. When I created a new Glassfish deployment descriptor, it did not automatically the ViewController project in the Application Assembly to the EAR application. So now, the Application Assembly for the EAR includes the deployment for ViewController project (the ViewController project has a dependency on the model project is also included).

  The application now deploys correctly on a Glassfish 3.1 server.

  To resolve the warning (REP-0004: WARNING: could not open the file of user preferences), copy the file prefs.ora to your report builder $ORACLE_HOME/tools/admin/directory in the directory $HOME of the Applications.

  Please do the above step after that, if you get an error, please paste the same thing here.

• How to eliminate the background of an image while now semi transparent medium ground.

  Sorry if the topic name is slightly inaccurate, or if my question seems amaturish, I am relatively new to the use of Psalm for a project, I want to remove the black background of this image http://calibermag.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/2534069-Action-Bronson-617.jpg and replace it with a different background, however I would like to keep the smoke that is dwell on the bottom. Are there techniques or tools that I could use to remove the background and black behind the smoke without directly to smoke?

  This image will respond well to the function [refine edge].

  Basically, select the guy with for example, the tool to quickly select, then use refine edge and paint the RADIUS tool to refine by smoke.

  This tutorial gives the technique in detail.  The technique illustrated works in the latest version of Photoshop.

• Generating reports (11g R2) crashing when you open the data model - VGS.dll Crash

  I have the Report Builder on a 2008 Server R2(64-bit) with 11 g R2 (11.1.2 - 64bits) configured with weblogic, reports and forms for a developer machine. Whenever I try to open the data in a report, Report Builder model no longer works and I get error APPCRASH indicating Module as VGS.dll error all the time. If someone had a similar problem before, please help me.

  We have already published our DPS newsstand folio, date I've activated the web content viewer in account settings. At the time of installation, our team were not able to create a url for that will be the host, so I went without one.

  We will now add a url hosting - my question is, once added, I need to resubmit the application, update the folio - or none of the above? (or maybe there not another I have to take?)

  No, you don't need to resubmit the app. changes in the tool Admin account take effect automatically in a few minutes.

  I downloaded the application, and the first Folio free function did work for me, either. (I was disappointed that the app is named after Woodrow Wilson and not volleyball Wilson).

  I guess that you have selected the option in the tool Admin account and not just in the DPS App Builder.
