They are the two 8 GB of ram (ddr3l for 15-ba006nl) and ddr4 for 15-ay008nl but the max ram supported for a future upgrade is not present. Maybe it is only 8 GB and can not be upgraded? Thank you.

    Hello:

For the 15-ay008nl, Chapter 1, page 6 of the manual of the service provides information to upgrade memory.

Of course you can upgrade to El Capitan. But I think better if you can change the internal hard drive (SATA drive) in the SSD drive. You will get better results, faster than still, you only have 4 GB. This is mine... MacBook pro in early 2011.

At least you put me on the right track and I persevered and found the file relevant agprefs of Lightroom web help and followed the instructions to change manually.

  • Mac Air 1.3 Ghz i5, 4 GB ram end of 2013 everyone upgraded to El Capitan with the same configuration?

worried about the going 10.10.5 Yosemite to El Capitan. Especially with only 4 GB of ram. Have 256 GB SSD HARD drive

would appreciate an answer from people already have the upgrade.problems with the same configuration? slower?

FWIW, the El Capitan applications are no different from Yosemite. In fact, it is easier on resources in some areas. The main thing you need to worry is to make sure the software and equipment to use is compatible. Make sure you have a good backup in case you change your mind and want to downgrade.

  • 405 proDesk: what RAM to use for the upgrade

I need more RAM. There are 2 PCs.  It has 2 GB; the other has 4 GB.  It is not enough.  I don't know what Ram should be added.

    @StanF36, welcome to the forum.

This is memory that is recommended by Crucial memory:

    http://www.crucial.com/USA/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/HP-prodesk-405-G1-Tower

    http://www.crucial.com/USA/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/HP-prodesk-405-G2-Mt

As I was not sure which is your version of the 405 ProDesk, I gave you a link for both versions.  Make sure you choose the right pair.

Crucial makes memory of very good quality, reliable.  Since the memory is so cheap, I suggest to buy all new memory, so there is no conflict with the memory of the old and the new.

  • Equium M - 50 192: what RAM I can use to upgrade?

    Hello

Does anyone know what I can use to upgrade RAM?

I currently have 2 x 512 MB. Does this mean that all my slots are taken? I want to move to their maximum capacity (2 GB or more). I have to replace the two modules?

The reason is that I was a little miffed to discover that my 128 MB of video RAM was infact static RAM. I guess that's my fault for not asking the right questions...

Now, I do a lot of video editing and games. If I increase the RAM will be her claim to improve performance?

    Hello

I checked the properties of this device and it seems that it of possible to upgrade the memory for max 2048 MB.
There are 2 available memory slots, and you can use the modules of memory 2x1024Mo.
    These modules are supported:
    DDR2 400/533 256 MB (PA3389U - 1 M 25)
    512 MB DDR2-400/533 (PA3412U - 1 M 51)
    1 GB OF DDR2 400/533 (PA3411U-1M1G)

    Hope I could help.

  • Model acer ES1-711-P1UV have sauldered ram or can it be upgrade

I was watching around computers and I found this one that has essentially everything I need. I would like to just upgrade the RAM. so I was wondering if the RAM has been sauldered on or if I could crack it open and replace it with a few more memory.

Crucial has said that you can replace the memory.

    http://scripts.crucial.com/upgrade/Acer-memory/aspire+ES1/aspire+ES1-711-P1UV-upgrades.html

I could not find a guide service manual or disassembly as well, I don't know how far to go to get the memory.

If you need to remove the upper part, the memory can be on the lower side of the motherboard.

  • Performance index Windows for RAM has decreased after the upgrade to 64 - bit

    Hello
    I just upgraded to windows 7 ultimate 32-bit sp1 [B] [/ b] to windows 7 ultimate sp1 [B] 64-bit [/ b] as 32 bits is just using 3.4 GB out of my 4 GB of memory available.
In my 32 bit OS, windows experience index for RAM was 7.1 to 7.9, but after upgrade 64-bit, it came down to 5.9 7.9. What could wrong here? All the other sides are almost the same.
I enclose the screenshots of the same thing.

Remember that the IFE is not particularly precise, so the digits must be dealt with without tightening. Any comparative analysis rarely also follows the real world experience that depends on how you use the computer. Used WEI as a general comparison only.

4 GB is a lot a quantity limit if 64 bit is better that 32-bit so the 1st question is you would never beyond RAM? 2nd you never run 64-bit software? If the answer is Yes to one then definitely stick with 64-bit.

Even with the No., it's always a limit case will be the computer actually be faster on 32-bit so is it worth the hassle in evolution.

  • Windows 7 X 86 (32 bit) acknowledges that 3 of my 4 GB of RAM. I had to upgrade to Windows 7 (64 bit) x 64?

Hey everybody... Here is a... I just upgraded to Win 7 from Vista (both x 86) on my Sony VAIO VGN - 280 which was delivered with Vista Home Prem x 86 and State of Sony that it is capable of 4 GB of RAM. I just upgraded from 3 GB to 4 full... and of course only 3 usable according to the properties of the system. You all say it is cos x 86 OSs are not capable of 4 GB of RAM but it is simply not the case with everyone, I have read other forums where people... and also where x 64 users can access all their 4 GB, only 3 or 3.xGB. I ran Linux x 86 here, which uses the 4 full and have an installation of OS X Leopard which detects and uses all the 4 GB. My BIOS detects all 4 too. Is there ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I can get Win 7 to use the full 4 GB DDR2 (2 PC 5300 667) RAM I have installed? Other system specifications:

Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
T5450 processor from Core 2 Duo 667 MHz
Intel GMA X 3100 Video (total available graphics memory: 358 MB - system 64, 294 shared)

    Any help appreciated thanks

ALSO: If I upgrade to Win 7 x 64 and the full 4 GB of RAM is used by the system, is not the compromise that a x 64 OS is more demanding on system resources, including the RAM? That is to say. Probably performance I am not any better? Err

Additional question: how update BIOS? My BIOS is showing the full 4, in fact, is my install OS X (and he also uses). But Win 7 x 86 says 4 installed, using 3. How will I know if that 1 extra is or is not 'lost', IE is going to graphics (c.300MB in my case), etc.?

There is no way to get a Windows XP, Vista or Win 7 32 - bit operating system to use all 4 GB installed RAM. It is set for what call compatibility Microsoft issues.

If you want or need to be able to use all 4 GB or more, you will need to upgrade to a 64-bit operating system.

Yes, 64-bit requires more RAM than 32-bit in order to work properly.

A motherboard which only supports a total of 4 GB of RAM will not, generally, the memory of the mapping feature that allows 64-bit to use all 4 GB installed RAM, so won't be able to use around 3.7 GB.

RAM usage is not the most compelling reason to move to a 64-bit operating system. More general users will get even close to 2 GB of RAM memory used heavy resources intensive applications.

The most convincing is security because 64 - bit done very little concession towards backwards compatibility in a time where security was not considered a problem.

Do NOT update your BIOS unless you have a problem with the BIOS. It seems that you do not have. Mike Hall MVP - Windows Desktop Experience http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/

All of the family's computers have upgraded with minimum agitation outside HP Elite 8200 SFF - core i5 vpro.

After installation, there was a lot of blue screens including: -.

    Memory management errors

    Bad pool header error

Several internet queries (probably from Microsoft OneDrive store)

I understand that this machine has not been tested as part of a verification of the compatibility of HP / Microsoft.

My question is: there will be updates on the site of HP driver Support in the near future to include 64-bit Windows machines concerned 10 drivers? Or links included for Intel Chipset drivers when they are available to Win10?

    At any time.

I am pleased to have been of assistance.

Maybe try again before the end of the free period.

It is possible that they will have worked on bugs and the most up-to-date version at W10.

As far as I know, you can use max 8 GB of RAM

    DDR3 RAM (1.333 MHz)

    > and I have to take my laptop to the service or ram can be changed at home?
RAM isn t very difficult the replacement procedure.

SSDS are compatible and you can use a common SATA SSD 2.5 drive.
There are different SSDS on the market, so you can choose the one of your choice.
Some are cheap, but the performance is low. So you recommend reading some articles and test on SSD drives available.
