RAM for use in DC7800 HP Compaq DC5800?
I misordered little RAM for a compact DC7800 I noticed is marked for the DC5800. Anyne know if they are interchangeable?
Thank you
Hello:
Yes it can.
There is only a minor difference in the Intel chipset of series 3 between the two models, but the memory is exactly the same.

To upgrade the capacity of RAM for my laptop - model no: Compaq Preasrio C555TU
Dear Madam / Sir,
Hi, Joel:
I can't find any info on the specs of your laptop on the HP support for her page.
Then, download and run the free Crucial memory, analytical tool. This tool will report what memory you need (DDR, DDR2, etc.) and the amount of memory your PC can run.

Hello
I'm a nut FSX but have very IT limited knowledge. I wanted to achieve the best result for FSX (this 2 me not a game cos I can afford is more to fly the flat light where I 300hours and noticed a true likeness in fsx to plans I stole) so I bought the new PC i7/920 call t0 3.6 ghz. NVIDIA gtx285. 6 GB/ram/166 corsair.and installs 3 x monitor @22 inch with TrackIR 5.I thought I was going to enter Heaven FSX. However majority or all of the FSX CD I my system 32 bits do not appear in the installation of 100%. I appreciate the new way of loading FSX in 64-bit is different from 32-bit, etc.. My main complaint is I lose my GPS function on mission downloads and it's not good. I understand there is a way to increase the use of the ram for 32-bit (works 100%) where there has never been a problem, but seems very complicated. I currently use the resolution of 1980 but 3 screen in place will be allowed to 1680 etc.. HOW can I REACH 100% DOWNLOAD WITH 64 BIT as I can with 32 bits, which is limited to 3 GB of ram. Any FSX readers in addition to my download problems, what I need to have an incredible fast pc including 4 times cheaper than my cp very dear son. FSX is super super smooth with cadence to the maxHey booleyz,
Vista 64 bit is compatible with the game and you should get all the functions. When you download missions and if missing the GPS function, imply that there are no required files on the PC for the game. I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the game once and see if it works.
You can also try to reduce the graphic details in the game Options.

What is the link for "HP Compaq dc5800 Business PC microtour - overview"?
HP dear community!
I spent a good part of the search yesterday for the current list of processors (CPU) that works with my computer format microtour dc5800. I was looking for a document that I found for my dc7700, titled: "HP Compaq dc7700 Business PC Convertible Minitowers - view of all. For the dc7700, 'Preview' was only 6 pages long, but gave a list of CPU and memory to select from with confidence, they will work! Finally, I 'GOOGLÉ': "Updates for dc5800" and found a link from HP on my question... He me related to the document, "quickspecs' for the dc5800! I was shocked to find the 'Google' link since I specifically asked the Community Forum of HP for the availability of the Document and has not responded to any existing document. Then, I realized the 'Google' link took me to HP Canada! and I was able to copy an updated list of the CPU and memory guaranteed to work on my dc5800!
I was extremely happy to get information, but was disappointed, I ended up finding information of the community Canada HP Forum; and through Google! Best regards, wfejnieh2
Greetings, Paul!
The link you provided in your response is exactly the same material that I received from the Canadian community. When I linked to the community of the Canada, the question I was looking for had already answered! I was confused initially (last night), because their layout was a bit different than ours. and I didn't realize immediately that I had reached the HP community! assuming that I was still in the "United States" (especially since I logged my identity here). My 'icon' (they associated with my identity) was a photo of the CN Tower in Toronto (I LOVE Toronto! What a coincidence!). It was midnight, I was stop for the night and failed to 'save' the 'link' they provided (not PDF), but managed to save the data on *.pdf for office (but without the link).
I really appreciate the response on your part! and I feel the heat from "HP communities!
Kudo! Paul! Have a weekend splendid! Best regards, wfejnieh2

MY DELL LATITUDE D610 HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS? NOW IT IS WINDOWS 7, WHAT VERSION IS SUPPORT FOR USE WELL ON MY DEVICE? PLEASE HELP ME
Read this: upgrade Windows 10 Dell Latitude D610
Take a look at my answer, complete instructions.
Basically speaking, Dell officially supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP on Dell Latitude D610 (and other models of Dx10).
However it can really run Windows Vista and 7 at least, as long as you max out the RAM (2 GB, 2 x 1 GB, can be purchased at a great price in eBay) and install the drivers, in particular graphics drivers, look in Device Manager and see what drivers are needed manually.
If you're lucky to have a D610 with ATi graphics card then you can even run Windows 8 and 10 with all drivers available, and I can tell you that it won't be slow dog not unlike a lot of people say, I don't have something similar (a HP Compaq nx8220) in common use. Keep as lean as possible (not bloatwares, anti-virus etc.) system, and it will serve you well.

The link to it is

http://www.crucial.com/UK/store/MPartspecs.asp?mtbpoid=8AB46FD7A5CA7304&WSMD=SATEL lite + Pro + series A60 & WSPN plus CT419262Basically, I was wondering if someone could help me telling me if these two are compatible with my laptop, or are the same as the other and which recommend you for me. And sorry if it is too much but can anyone give me any help on installation of the RAM chip? It is difficult to do at all?
Thank you very much if you can help me out in any way possible.
Hello
The original RAM module apart from the number PA3313U-1M1G (1024 MB PC2700). It is always recommended to use tested and original pieces, as many users have a problem after the purchase of the module to different inexpensively.
In my opinion, you can buy cheaper and test. If there is no problem you can return.
Good bye

Upgrade of RAM for hp G62-451sa
Hey, my names Tom and I'm new to this forum.
I have a 2 HP G62-451sa bought new years. I discovered that my use of physical memory is extremely high (80-90%) of the 3 GB of Ram (1 GB + 2 GB) I have. I have a 64-bit windows, and I'm looking for RAM upgrades. Can I switch to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)? and if so where can I buy those replacements of 4 GB of ram for my model because I have found none to my computer through to look at many sites such as crucial.com etc... But what can I use other upgrades of RAM for notebooks G62 like G62-450sa?
Thank you
Tom
Hi, Tom:
Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.
http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02542455.PDF
Chapter 1 page 1-1 provides the memory upgrade information (Yes, you can install 2 x 4 GB of PC3-8500 memory or 10600).
Just make sure you get chips with 8 black memories of each side of the Board.
Unless you live in the United States, I know not what brands are available in other countries or where you can buy them.

Upgrade of RAM for Satellite Pro 3400
Hello
I own a laptop Satellite Pro 3410, it has pentium celeron 600, 64 MB of ram and 13 '' dstn display. I want to upgrade my ram, somewhere, I read that it can be improved with 256 MB, so that there then 320Mo. My question is now, what I have to use 2 pieces of 128 MB of ram or can I use 1 piece of 256 MB of ram. The point is a friend gave me a 256MB ram for PC laptop (pc-100) toshiba, I put it and it seems to work (win2k showed me the 320Mo compleet), but can it be problems, using this a big RAM?
I hope you can help
Katja
Hello
I think you mean a Satellite Pro 4310?
Normally it only uses the modules of memory up to 128 MB. But if your laptop is running with this 256 MB module, there should be no problem.
Good bye

Hello I have a desktop HP Compaq dc5800 SFF pc. I need driver for Trusted Platform Module 1.2, my hardware is: ACPI\IFX0102 * IFX0102
Go to Device Manager and click on the device TPM that need the driver.
Click the driver tab. Click on set to update driver.
Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.
This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp40553.
Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.
If it isn't, I suggest you to install the latest chipset driver Intel for your PC and if you have not been updated to W7 SP1, do, because as I said, there is no need to install this driver on Vista or W7.
Here's the latest Intel chipset driver for pc... Download, unzip and run the setup.exe file.

I recently updated my system to Windows 7 Pro 32 bit for Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. The Simple communication controller has no drivers installed.
The problem is:

The drivers for this device are not installed.
I checked the downloads at HP and either they don't accept Windows 7 Pro 64 bit or not suitable for this machine.
I tried several internet solutions and they failed.

Extra RAM for Satellite L70-B-14Z
Hello
I cannot find anywhere how to adapt the increase ram for my new Satellite L70-B-14z, am I to guess that this model should be returned to the Toshiba authorized service center? We can just confirm that this model be OK to win 10 updated.
I'll take delivery of this unit this week.
Any help and advice will be great
Tony
According to specification for laptop, your laptop can be upgraded up to 16 GB. Unfortunately your laptop isn't the cover of RAM in the bottom corner so the whole bottom cover needs to be removed and it must be done by the authorized service provider.
What about Win10? Win 10 support is not officially started, and now Toshiba offers no additional drivers for the upgrade. Anyway, you can download and install Win10 and test your machine, how it works.
Before doing this, create a recovery (DVD or USB) media. This recovery media, you can use if you want to install the original version of Windows that you have with your machine and that he put your laptop to factory settings.
