  I bought a new laptop that runs Windows 10. I have PS CS6 (not on CC). I am updating the plugin RAW using Adobe Application Manager and he WILL NOT NOT WORK. When I opened the MAO, it shows the following screen:

  Check the permissions on this file file.

  You can browse to the location: C:\Program files. Common Adobe

  Right-click on the Adobe folder

  Go to the properties<>

  

  Click on change

  Click on administrator and user and provide total control

  

  Click on apply and OK

  Then try to rerun setup of Camera Raw.

  I'm using Photoshop CS4 on a Mac Pro, OS 10.7.5. I own a Leica V - Lux 2 camera which records RAW files as. RWL files. PS CS4 won't open the. RWL files even tho Adobe Updater tells me that I am up to date. I can't find anywhere on the Adobe Web site to download all plugins RAW. I remember that, in the past, it was possible and easy. With my other digital cameras, the RAW files are supported for the latest updates.

  Cannot open the raw files of Nikon d800 in PS CS5 (Win7 64 bit). It is said, the model not supported by Camera Raw. Tried to update Camera Raw plug-in for d800 but keep error message: failed to update, Adobe Application Manager may be damaged. Re-install the latest application manager, but still the same error message. How to fix?

  Nothing worked until I managed to speak directly to Adobe support. They recommended to install the latest version of Camera Raw Installer 8.6. It has not helped to open NEF files immediately but he fixed an error of 6.7 'update failed' updated Camera Raw! After updating to 6.7 all goes well, see my d800 naves. Cheers, Sergey

Items opened files NAVE of my Nikon D5100 without problem and made the DNG Converter. I tried the 12 and 14 bit NEF of the D610 files with no luck.

  If I understand well, then 12 elements with Camera Raw 8.4 support Nikon D610. I hope that I will get this job so that I can update to ver ver 12 9 that I use today.

  The NEF files were made by an older version of Nikon transfer NX or older software not delivered with the camera? It comes from a source known to file corruption.

  Try a few new shooting NEF files and bring them directly to PSE12.

  RAW files are different for each camera brand and model. New cameras hit the market, Adobe needs to update the Camera Raw plugin used by Photoshop to read Raw files. It's a story without end of perpetual updates.

  The D610 is supported in Camera Raw 8.3 and later versions which is compatible with both CS6 and Cloud. CS5 will never be able to open these Raw files.

  The D300 is supported in Camera Raw 4.3 or later version which is compatible with CS3 and later. Therefore, you can open these files Raw in CS5.

  Your options:

  1. Join the cloud, or
  2. Upgrade to CS6 (obsolete software.) Not recommended), or
  3. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert batch all the D610 Raw files to DNG format, and then change the DNG files in CS5. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

  I just bought my Nikon D610 and used items 11 up to that point and was very hapoy with her. However, I quickly learned that 11 items for not supporting new RAW files and read that 12 element, so I bought the upgrade. I am so disappointed that, after the download items is still not able to read the files. Did I just waste my money? Can you get the plug of Camer 8.3 RAW in 12 items?

  Hi, I have disabled my old mac I got a new mac, I re installed photoshop on the new mac, when I click on help update its tells me everything is up-to-date, bridge cs6 / extension manager cs6 / photoshop cs7 / camera raw 7. My mac is also updated the latest version of Yosemite. When I try to open a raw (nikon D610) file I get a message back - ps can not open this file, click updates help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
