• VST Plugins does not? CS6

  OK, so whenever I put the vst plug-ins in c:\\user\program files (86)------VST and swipe to the hearing min they appear, but read ' market not "and I have tried at least 15 different plugins. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.

  In addition to what said SteveG, 64 b does not natively in the CS6, (you will need a tool called Jbridge for those).  However, I know you said 32 b, but there is a 'package' of VSTs out there that don't work (outdated, poorly written, etc.).  Others require installation with program components and the external data placed in folders (including registry entries).  Simply drop the VST DLLs in a folder and the loading will not work.  Without knowing the exact plugins you load.  Nobody here can help you any further.

• How to install Plugins

  I have an audio clip that will work only on my Mac as a plugin and not as a stand alone. In other words, unless I use it as a VST (not an AU) plug-in it will not work.

  The installation is where I could get in trouble. To be precise, I work with older software: LE PIC 5.4.1 (to view and edit audio files) and his SOAP 5 as the plugin (for "clean" sound).   Logic Pro X use only 64-bit (AudioUnit) plugins not VSTs... and Logic Pro v9.1 or later... uses only 32-bit and 64-bit to THE Plugins... Again not VSTs...

  Your path is correct for the Plugins to THE but there is also another place they can be stored... same path, but in the library to the user instead of the system one...

  Path of system lib is;

  / Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/components

  Path of Lib user is;  (Note the tilde (~) symbol at the beginning of the way...)

  ~/Library/audio/plug-ins/components

  Copy and paste these paths into the go > go to folder in the Finder menu... will allow you to quickly navigate to them.

  In any case...

  The problem could simply be that the plugin is old and/or incompatible or broken under modern LPX or even later LP9 versions... or even you can not use properly.

  Contact the dev of this plugin to advise and help...

• Issue of CC VST hearing

  Hi, I have the 2 battery Addictive x 64 based VST plug-in. The plugin had previously worked on Cubase 5, but the hearing does not recognize. (the program is in the VST folder, but it is not listed as a plugin avialable)

  I think that Addictive Drums is a VSTi (Virtual Instrument/synthesizer) and not a standard VST (Virtual effect.)  At that time, hearing does not support VST plugins.

  I installed Adobe Audition CS6, et VST plugins et VS3T do not appear in the Windows, only the names VST3 and VST effects.

  I did something similar to this, CS6 running but Windows so this possible solution may not work!

  However, you need to "force" AA to rescan all your plugins.  First of all, make sure that the list "plug in folder" Audio Plug in Manager is accurate and complete.  Then, in the same screen choose 'Search plugins' with the 'plug-ins existing Rescan"checked.  This can now find and reload all of your existing traffic.  In my case, it finds some, but not all.  So I changed "will search plug-ins" but with "Existing plug-ins Rescan" unaudited.

  I think I need to repeat this process at least once more and finally AA 'find' all my cards and charge those that she could use.

• Question of vst and EQ...

  so Ive spent countless hours trying to get a handle on the application of eq to my singing... I have a good mic juice... i cannot get the desired sound for my song to ask properly on an instrumental... either they deep or muddy or ventilated or not full enough. its extremely difficult. so my question was if there was a way to apply eq to the voice in multitrack mode so I can hear how they sound while playing the rhythm. It would save a lot of time, so I wouldn't have to apply eq to the voice only hear how they sound at first... then recede in multitrack to along them with the rhythm. It would also be much easier to understand how to adjust the equalizer much better. If theres anyway to do this I would like to kno. If theres anyone who would be willing to listen to a sample of my song and would like to add sum eq juice so I can have an idea of wat I need that would be great also. my last question is that I have two monitors attached to the top... is it possible to have more then a vst plugin box open at the same time? When I open one... and go to another it just replaces the first...

  and also if anyone has any ideas of good plugin for eq let me know.

  Have you used the rack effects in multitrack mode? They sound like the solution to two of your problems - EQ'ing in multitrack mode and using more than one VST both...

  I'm in first Pro CS5 Windows 7 64 bit.  Before the update to CS5, I had used the Bias SoundSoap 2.4 VST plugin in CS4 without any problems.

  However, in CS5, the plugin does not appear in the drop-down list of effects.  I can see the plugin loading on the first splash screen:

  I am trying to install a FORMER music software to use VST plugins on a new Dell XPS 8300 with Windows 7.  The "DirectX 8.1 do not detected on your system" error each time.  After a thorough research on the internet, a solution of choice has been to change the registry in DirectX parameter to 4.08.01.0810 to "fool" the installation program, but that did not work on the XPS (he is actually worked on a Win 7 Dell laptop that I tried).  Any advice?  Thanks in advance.

  For sound effects, the 'Freesound project' http://www.freesound.org/home/login/?next=/home/ is hard to beat.  You need to register but it's completely free.  Don't forget to download whatever it is useful to others who you happen to save yourself potentiall!

  For a selection of free VST plugins, have a browse through http://www.sadglad.com/freevstplugins6.html .  They vary from a really good for a bit of blah, but there is certainly a lot to choose from!

  I remember with Kontakt 4 (and some older products OR) that you need to actually launch the version of product point until plug-ins would actually work.

  Can you launch each app OR restart directly, for luck, and THEN try to launch the body?

  Recently, I have the bought the bundle of plugins-slate Virtual Bus Compressor and hoped to use in first Pro CC on OSX 10.8.4

  Currently, the plugins will not show at first, but show in hearing. I expect that they share the same engine, when it came to analyze and record VST and Audiounit plugins.

  All the other plugins by this society show and works without any problem on the front.

  Is it possible to get the first to update the list of plugin so that it can "see" the new plugins?

  I bought these plugins once I installed CC first so maybe that has something to do with it?

  It was not clear to me, but have you visited the new Audio Plug-in Manager (drop-down menu in the effect controls panel)?

  

  In general, we try is more of third party plug-ins scanner audio on each launch because there is too much bad plug-ins that could crash the application or 30 000 reminder for dongles screens and such.

  Also, what version of hearing you compare against?  If it's the CS6 Audition, then there will be 32 - bit plug-ins that appear there, but will not be displayed in hearing CC or first Pro CC than these two 64-bit applications and cannot load 32 - bit plug-ins natively.

  Maybe a silly question, but...

  .. .with VSTi plugins, you ARE looking in with a MIDI track open multitrack view, aren't you?  I rarely if ever use VSTi, but happened yesterday to notice that plugins VSTi you mention are displayed in form not supported for me too - when I look at the menu effects in edit view.

  However, when I open a MIDI in MT track see (and scan plug ins for the first time it) they appear and work fine.
