RCU error: unable to connect to the database using the contact information provided

I am not able to connect to the database using the remote control 11.1.1.10.1 to create patterns. I ran the UCR even a week ago and I managed to connect. My database and listener are up and running and the host and the credentials are correct. I don't know where is the problem. Any help will be appreciated. Attaching the screenshot for reference.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like someone had blocked the firewall settings, so I was unable to connect to the database using the port.

    I tried test the connection to the database of FDM help a 32-bit UDL file to check the 32-bit Oracle Client is installed and where the provider OLE DB for Oracle was not available.
    It was a problem with the installation of the Oracle customer 11.2.0.3, it seems that it is a known bug (NOTE > install the 11.2.0.3 Oracle OLE DB provider since the installation of Client media registers properly the provider [ID 1380742.1] Bug: 13417266 WHILE upgrading from 11.2.0.3, Setup is unable to REGISTER DLL ORAOLEDB).
    We have installed Oracle earlier version client and have seen the for Oracle OLEDB provider.
    After this created FDM application successfully.

    I suggest you uninstall the software from programs and features and then try to open the properties of the mouse and check if you are able to open the mouse properties then I would you recommend to uninstall the drivers that are installed on the system in the Device Manager and then download the drivers from the link below and check if the problem is resolved.

    You must be able to connect to the computer you run the samples of the converter (192.168.80.5) on port 443 server machine. You can check the following:

    * Converter Server is running

    * There is no firewall is blocking the port 443

    * There is no other application taking port 443 and not allowing not converter tuned (a web server on the same computer?)

    * Converter server is installed in Client-Server mode (by default, it is installed in local mode only and no TCP connections are allowed, but samples SDK only support TCP mode).

    It's a SQL API based in the event database connection, it does not need an ODBC connection, see will do for you.

    I just wanted to know what operating system you are using to connect to the server and did you do Windows Update on this machine? If not done it please do.

    restart the machine try connecting the event database. It does not work please check the things mentioned in the KB below

    You can do one more thing before checking the KB, if the connection to the server OS is windows 2012 and the SQL Windows 2012, take a snapshot of the VM Server conection and proceed to

    under location

    C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Server\broker\shared\lib\sqljdbc-1.2.jar

    Stop all the service view in the connection to the server.

    sqljdbc - 1.2.jar and rename sqljdbc - 1.2.jar.backup.

    Download SQL JDBC 3.0 driver http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21599

    extract the downloaded file and copy the sqljdbc4.jar to location (C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Server\broker\shared\lib\)

    also copy same file once more and rename the file to sqljdbc-1.2.jar

    Restart all services server connection and wait 10 minutes, then check the admin page.
