It is really strange. With the help of option for media player, you should be able to appreciate the content saved on your USB, but of course you must tell your reader what type of files you want to see.

Reset to the factory settings does not resolve the problem.

    Firmware V.3.3.6y
    V.2.1.1d Smart app

    Is there a solution?

On this page you can find all the updates of firmware that are available for download.
If your model is not listed it is there no firmware update available for download.
    http://www.DL.Toshiba.com/dly/index.jsp?region=GB&lang=en

But in case new firmware is available for your TV set, you should be able to update the connection from the TV to the internet software. Also on this update notification should appear on television

Anyway, I read in another thread on some issues of Smart service in the past, and for most questions related to maintenance and modification service server.
I think so that this issue isn't associated with your TV set.

    Hello

I have some problems with my new Toshiba 32L 4363.

    Where can I find it?

There are a few pages where I see a lot of applications to play videos, pages like YouTube.
The problem is that some of these apps are starting to play even if I hadn't started the app apps start automatically. How can I disable this?

Videos from a USB USB also begins to play when I chose the videos in a small windows on the right side, but did not press on enter on the remote control.
I don't like this feature. How can I disable it?

In the manual (also the web - the toshiba manual - om .net) I couldn't find anything about it.

    mellimelli

According to the specifications of the TV, the device is DLNA certified.
This means that you can share movies, videos, music and photos on your TV Toshiba or with DLNA using a DLNA certified media server on your network home.

I recommend checking the manual start of the user to page 45

The TV can be configured as a digital media renderer (DMR).
When using as a media converter, the TV displays content provided by a multimedia server.
The media selection is made by the media controller.
The TV can play photo, movie, or audio files when using as a Media Converter.
In the network menu, select Network Device Setup and press OK.
Select Media Renderer and press b to select on.
If demand media controller, prompt and the function of Media Converter will start.

According to the USB Autostart support: what is mentioned on page 61
When Auto-start is enabled, you will be asked if you want to start the media player each time that a
Peripheral USB is inserted. If autostart is disabled (or if you want to connect to a media server on the network), you must manually start the Media Player menu.

To change the auto-start setting: highlight the Options icon and then select Configuration of Media Player
and press OK. Select USB Auto Start, and then press OK. You can then select enabled or disabled.

    Start_ sent
Insert a USB device into the USB port on the left side of the TV. A prompt is displayed. Select Yes, then press OK. Videos, music or Photos and click OK. Then select devices and press OK.

    * NOTE: * If autostart is set to Off, you can manually start the media player.

  • Toshiba TL 938G - application remote dlna and toshiba problem

I try to use the remote control feature and toshiba dlna app, but I can't when the TV is connected to the network via wifi.

If I connect wired lan and pc or androind tv phone WiFi then everything is ok.
I have tryied three different routers, but if all devices are connected wireless is not possible.

I can use the dlna via wifi from my phone to the pc.

The problem is with toshiba tl938g.
The tv connects via wifi takes ip address normally and I use toshiba places without problem.

I assume you mean on Intel WiDi because I found your other son on the Intel WiDi.

You can use only one WLan connection at the same time.
As far as I know that if you are already connected to the network using the wireless network card, you can not use WiFi to connect the mobile phone.

So if you want to connect via Intel WiDi TV mobile phones you have to unplug the TV from the router.

  • Toshiba 39L4333DG: DLNA almost does not work

    Hello

I'm experimenting with my new L4, but I find THAT DLNA almost does not work.
TV is connected to my router where my NAS is also wired (100 MB switch).

First of all, to access the directories with more than one material is sloooooooooow.
It takes minutes to view folders.

Secondly, it seems that the TV is incapable of making anything: not my audio files in WMA, not my AVI videos or my JPEG files!

    Is this something normal?
How can I make this work?

    Thank you!!

    > Secondly, it seems that the TV is incapable of making anything: not my audio files in WMA, not my AVI videos or my JPEG files!
You should check the user 89 manuals page.
    http://www.Toshiba-OM.NET/LCD/PDF/English/L4333-323950-English.PDF

Here you can find all the details what file formats are supported by using the network connection or a USB interface.

Only the jpeg image files are supported using the connection network and Media Player.
Other files of pictures on TV, you can view by using, for example, USB flash memory stick

    About DLNA:
I think you should check the configuration of the network, as described on page 39

Subtitles are visible, reading files MKV and AVI but not MP4 files

  • Toshiba 32L3433DG DLNA setup - how to navigate the shared files

I activated in multimedia sharing options, I put media player on server base sides... but please tell me... where I have to go or do on my TV to browse folders shared network (in this case movies)?

    It's a big mystery I see

You can use this TV as MEDIA Renderer.
This feature allows reading/sharing files stored on a MEDIA compatible smartphone, tablet pc or laptop on the TV. Install software on your device and read the instructions in the Software Division for more information.
To activate the MEDIA converter and press left or right to toggle key is characteristic.

The media browser also lets you access the multimedia files stored on USB storage devices connected to the TV or MEDIA servers in the same network.

To launch the media browser window, press the arrow of reading on the remote control button. The media browser menu is also accessible from the main menu. Press MENU on the remote control. Select media browser by pressing the right / left and press OK.
Select the media type to appear and press OK. If there is more than one media source available, a list of the devices and servers will be displayed. Highlight the device or server in the list and press OK.

All the details are here in the user manual:
