  It is not possible to disable the software once you have uninstalled.

Don't forget that you have to disable your software before you uninstall on one computer and install it on another. Unistalling does not automatically deactivate your Adobe software.

  This isn't what Mary said.  You get 2 facilities by title.  You should have disabled software on your old machine first, but since you have now 2 methods to disable older facilities.

  My first recommendation was to contact support with your product purchase information and disable them.

  Mary offered another option which is to go ahead and install the software on your new hard drive.   If an error saying: you have exceeded the limit of 2 machine, press the button continue to disable older facilities.  You will then be able to install on you're your new hard drive plus one more.

  But first, to deactivate your adobe software (help > deactivate) and then it can be uninstalled/removed through reformatting etc.

  To transfer an Adobe software , you have to make sure that it is disabled on your old computer.

  If the old license is disabled, but still does not accept the serial number on the new system, you will need to contact Adobe customer service in your region to solve that, they are really the only ones who have the power to fix the licensing issues.

  In the TrueSuite Access Manager, you can configure some settings.
  In the administrator settings, you will find two tabs; General and advanced.
  On the Advanced tab, simply uncheck the option called: change logon Windows fingerprint logon password.

  I think that should do the job.

  In Lightroom, go to help-> my account. You need to sign in to your Adobe account. Then click on the button that is highlighted in the red square. Then, you will be able to choose the option you want.
