  You cannot use the serial number for Acrobat 8 Mac on any Acrobat Windows product. In addition, Acrobat 8 is not compatible Windows 7.

  I have 2 10 windows machines... We had 8 and 8.1 with acrobat 8 standard windows facing up and running. its still works fine with windows current 10. My second machine is a windows 10 installed at the factory and it does not install acrobat 8 standard at all. installation just hangs. someone has even similar or ideas. I can't find a download online anywhere and have just my original CD... Thanks in advance,
