  Apologize for the delayed response.

  The AppData folder is hidden, you must display the hidden files and folders.
  a. press the Windows key + X, choose Control Panel.

  (b) when the Control Panel opens, highlight all the way down and select additional parameters . This will open the traditional Control Panel.

  c. click appearance and personalization .

  d. now click on the option to show the hidden files and folders under Folder Options category.

  e. under the section files and folders hidden , select the radio button view the drives, folders and hidden files.

  f. click on apply and OK.

  Now follow the steps mentioned in the previous post.

• Games App Live broken tile, Xbox Live Profile Avatar is displayed either

  On all my machines Windows 8 and Windows Live Sync RT, tile games app is is more updated. that is, it does not show my profile picture or Gamerscore, just the regular controller icon.

  In addition, when I run the app, my Xbox Live Avatar does not appear even if the app shows me as connected and I can see my friends list.  Instead, I see a placeholder blank avatar.  In addition, the normal profile options are absent; Instead, I see the same options that are normally displayed to friends: to add a friend, games compareand view profile.  (Of course, if I click on view profile, the resulting page is empty and the app says that it is impossible to connect to Xbox Live.)

  Good news! The games App update which I installed today solved the problem! My avatar appears, as well as options to change your avatar, edit profile, etc. I hope this works for everyone!

  I'm trying to find a way to take a text entered by the user into a text field and display it in a label using java script. The trickiest part is I want to be seen in the label after restarting the application.

• MS Windows 8 App Mail does not allow iCloud email to send?

  Need help please, I just got a Windows machine that I really like. Windows 8 is an upgrade that big!

  However I am having some real problems with my main email account that uses iCloud. I added in the next setting from several places, but most of these sites now says it no longer works. The settings I used is:

  • Username = * address email is removed from the privacy *.
  • IMAP.mail.me.com, = SSL on, Port = 993
  • SMTP.mail.me.com, SSL = off, Port is 587
  • Outgoing server requires authentication = yes
  • Use the same username and password to send and receive e-mails = yes

  I am able to receive emails that come in fairly quickly but it will not send me an email. Not a single one. Can anyone help me please with the setting in the menu in Windows 8 tiles Mail App. I would avoid using Outlook in desktop mode, so if someone knows a solution would be great!

• Victory 8.1 Mail App problem

  I got the mail app works with 3 email accounts: Hotmail (I guess that obvious), GMAIL and my ISP account (POP3 through Outlook.Com).  This worked well for a few days, but crashed yesterday.

  I got an 'X' in the lower right of the slab of the app and it made me go to the "store" to fix the app.  After a while she completed her repairs and I restarted the computer ("when in doubt - reboot").

  Now the ISP account disappeared and I get the message that the login or password is invalid.  The 'Needs attention' GMAIL account  When I try to access the GMAIL account, it gives me a message account already exists.  I can't "remove" account.  The HOTMAIL account seems to work OK in the messaging application.

  All three accounts are available in FIREFOX.

  My thought was to remove the Mail app and reinstall, but before I do I would like some advice for how to proceed.

  Simply right-click in the tile of app Mail and you should have an "Uninstall" option appear.

  I received one the development of Playbooks, and I need to develop at least an app before a certain date in order to own the device.

  I was simply going to one of my IOS apps for the playbook of port and present it as my eligible application before starting to work on a game or something.

  However, I have found that the SDK is available for development for Playbook Miss INCREDIBLY.

  All I want to do is a background image, with a 'picker wheel' (this could even be approached with a view of small table), there would be a bunch of lables dot background.

  Manipulation of the selector wheel would affect the values of the help of labels.

  This app took me half a day to develop with Xcode for iPhone and iPad (which at the time in question 3 resolutions)

  I'm recreating this application on a device, with resolution of 1 (the playbook), I already have all the data and resources ready to leave when I developed it for IOS (the creation of these resources took most of the half-a-day when developing for IOS)

  Me seems to have very few options here, and when you develop with the native SDK, there are just a few examples of the C language (seriously? don't not even c ++?) I use the IDE provided and I can build the fine of the camera, but any specific syntax of c ++ causes the build fails. I am a proffesional software engineer, and I know what I'm doing with regard to the creation of the actual product. What is simply baffling to me how little effort RIM seems to have invested in the developer tools. I spent weeks trying all the options I can find including the marmelade SDK, which does not offer many of the design interface either as it is a compatibility layer and not intended to be a complete development environment, however it offers a lot more than what RIM does.

  Is could someone please tell me I'm missing something, that there is a design tool easy to use with a bunch of pre-defined and easily configurable widgets Interface. Cause as it is, there is absolutely no way I'm going to invest the time necessary to develop my own set of interface tools, and rethink available would be a complete pain in the end without an interface generator.

  -RIM, really so little to invest in to make life easier for developers it is? If so, its really not great mystery why it's market share is so dismal.

• Windows cannot find the 3668Microsoft software license terms [Windows 8 companies]

  I have an image of Windows custom Enterprise 8 13 GB (with office, UI, apps and Lenovo customizations specific apps/drivers pre-installed, also auditioned the build to create a standard set of tiles of App in the splash screen for all users by using the sysprep copyprofile unattend.xml for OOBE option).  I have split into 4 files 3.6 GB stormwater management each [also tried files more small sizes 1.8 and 2.5 GB].  I copied them into the sources folder.  I renamed the file install.wim OEM install.wim.oem to avoid that it is deployed.  I created my autounattend.xml file and copied to the root of my key USB FAT32.  I need the FAT32 to install UEFI mode, so formatting to NTFS is out of the question.  FAT32 is a file size limit ~ 4 GB, that's why I split the backup.  Flash Player starts in mode UEFI end and autoattend kick-off, however, after that he started the installation process, I get the above error.

  I have tested with the following scenarios.

  I get the error above, even as I did using my custom 13 GB great image.

  When a WIM image is divided, why windows has wrong to locate the license terms or I do something wrong?  And don't say that my image is too big ;)  Is it possible to move the files to the conditions of licence in the first installation. Management of stormwater so that they are in one piece, perhaps?

  I did these tests several times trying DISM for capture and split covers as well as imagex and got the same results.

• Is there an EASY way to make a DVD from Movie Maker DVD Maker charged in Windows 8? I'm so disappointed. I did a lot of movies of family vacation and now I'm screwed.

  I always did of family films.  In recent years I have very happily used Windows Movie Maker and Windows DVD Maker.  But the old computer is dead and now I had to buy one with Windows 8 (boo, hiss).  Breath of this OS.  It is difficult to use, source of confusion, screwed up and above everything else, did NOT create DVD.  "Burn DVD" is more a choice in Movie Maker.  WTF?  How can I make a movie without resorting to downloading some programs by night, that I do not trust.

  Yes, well, I did. I did some research and looked at DVD Styler, Nero, VLC, and DVD Shrink. Nothing works. Regarding the DVD Styler, it didn't he download something called 7Zip who then simply sits on the desk until I open it, after which he there just some more showing me a menu that said things like 'computer', 'C' drive and drive "D". I am not techie enough to understand this. I was perfectly happy with the creation of DVD and the choice of "burn a DVD" on Movie Maker. I wish the technies who write such things would realize that most of us did not give a * on the stupid tiles and apps and want just a system that does what we want. As to burn the DVD. sigh.

  You then download DVD Styler.  Read the web page and click on in the appropriate places.  ;-)  This is not a technical problem - it is a "slow down and read more carefully ' a.

  It's an easy fix, once you know what to look for.

  Go to the desktop and right click on the taskbar. Click Properties,

  On the first tab, there is an option to "See the Windows Store apps on the taskbar" uncheck the box.

  Then go to the Navigation tab uncheck "Boot to the desktop."

  That should do it. If it is not, please let me know.

  I have a crazy idea: it is possible to store parameters to script with the InDesign file?

With eventListeners and commissioning, scripts, that we will be able to make scripts that would be able to check updates and automatically run when we placing images and text and so on... This can be a set framework of InDesign scripting, allowing to write scripts that use ui and same libraries so we don't have to write everything from scratch every time and just included required libs...

  So here are 2 great questions for now:

  (1) is it possible to store script with .indd file settings

  (2) who is interested in creating InDesign scripting (because it only makes sense if it will use a lot of people)

  PS: I know that it is possible to store settings in an external file, but this time, I'm interested only to save the params with .indd
