Heard on an add-on Firefox called Foxtab PDF Converter, google, got four hits in saying it as malware and pervasive (as for uninstalling it.) It is supposed to convert any file that can be printed to PDF, which resembles a very handy add-on. Everyone uses it, or the scares are based in reality?

FoxTab PDF Converter is not an Add on Firefox. I can only find messages, blog and forum questions that indicate there may be malware but nothing definitive. If you need a tool to create PDF files, there is a certain established free apps out there like (in no particular order):

  • PDF-Converter

    Hello

I want to create an application of PDF Viewer so I m using the pdf converter API but I think that its not supporting on blackberry.

I tried several times to use it, but still was nothing.

Can any body suggest me that how can I show a PDF on my mobile blackberry (do you want to create this application).

    Thanks in advance.

Some RIM IIRC applications support this and RIM has probably transcoders available PDF but I tried this in a field of browser and there is no

seem to be supported. I'm not really sure that PDF thought meet a phone would be a good thing and personally I would

Server solutions based in this mess - consider same SVG page by page can be better, but then again I would

transcoders based on the server into something the phone includes more introvert.

I have utilities to extract PDF files as well as position information (usually the desired information) text (I think

PDFtk would do that or pdftotext) and there are image extraction tools. If you can install a server-based system

called the foolabs pdf tools, or those of your choice, you can then send to the bottom of the pieces of text/image to your own application.

Here again, the transcoders based on the RIM Server seem to help a lot.

  • Conflict of blackBerry Smartphones PDF converter

Someone had a problem with a synchronization failed due to a software conflict with a PDF converter that is installed on the same computer as the Blackberry Desktop Manager? I recently installed Adobe Acrobat 9 on the laptop that I use with BDM and now an error message whenever I try to sync the device (Nextel Blackberry 7520) with mobile (Outlook 2003). Nextel says that their phone/software is not compatible with PDF converter software (?). The most popular PDA is incompatible with the most popular PDF converter software?

I use Acrobat with BlackBerry desktop manager, but don't not to deal with this issue. Better, you uninstall DM and install again.

Adobe is not a Microsoft product.  If you have the full Adobe Acrobat product (Professional, Standard, etc.) installed some version - reinstall it by using the product key and the media.

    Hi people,
When you try to print a document in pdf format, the 'pdf converter' printer disappeared form the print options. Does anyone know how to restore or where to download them from? Is it a tool included in Windows 7 or in any other free Adobe product? The fact is that I was used to print office in pdf documents and suddenly he disappeared from my computer and I don't know how to get it back.

    Hello

I see that you have not found the pdf print option while you try to print a document.

You are able to locate Adobe in Control Panel, in Add / Remove programs?

    Method 1:

If so, try to uninstall and reinstall to check if it works very well.

    Uninstall or change a program

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/uninstall-or-change-a-program

    Method 2:

If not, try the same download from the Adobe Web site:

    Here is the link:

If the problem persists, contact Adobe for assistance:

    I hope that helps!

  • Download a 30 day free trial pdf converter

I thought that I must present a credit card to make the experience of the trial period of 30 days with pdf converter. When I read the information they say months $1.99 for an annual cost of $25.00.  Now ask me a credit card in the amount of $14.99 per month to complete the transaction. What information is accurate?

    Hi charrlesm57309716,

We offer a free trial of 30 days of Acrobat Pro, but not our ExportPDF online service.

If you are asked to pay $14.99, it seems you might be to sign up for a subscription Acrobat Pro.

If you have not already downloaded it the demo on your computer, you can get it from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

Once your 30-day upward (since the first launch), you will be prompted to register if you wish to continue using Acrobat.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Best,

  • has anyone who downloaded 'pdf converter pro' for windows 8?

Do not open files for editing, tagging, etc.

    Hi badryan1234,

PDF Converter Pro is not an Adobe application, so you did not end up in the best place to find an answer to your question. You may have more luck here: http://www.pdf-converter-pro.com/support.html

  • Adobe PDF Converter port

    Hello

A 64-bit Windows 7 client computer cannot print PDF files using Adobe's PDF converter that was installed by the Adobe CS3 Design package.

I checked and realized that the port printer "Desktop\ * .pdf" missing

I followed the recommended procedure for creating the required printer port:

    =================

    Manually install the printer PDF

    • Click Start > Control Panel > printers and devices
    • Select Add a printer
    • Select Add a local printer
    • Check use an existing port and select Documents\ * .pdf (Adobe PDF) in the menu dropdown.  Click on Next
    • Click on the Have Disk... button
    • Click on the go ... button
    • Go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\Xtras\AdobePDF
    • Select AdobePDF.inf in the list, then click on the OK button
    • You will see many Adobe PDF converters in the list, but down six of the top, then click on next (you may need to try this a few times to find the converter in the list that works with your version of Windows)
    • Name of your printer, for example Adobe PDF
    • Follow the rest of the guests and your printer should now be properly installed

    =================

Unfortunately I get an error when the Setup program tries to copy the file Adobepdf.dll to System32

I have disabled UAC and tried again but the errors are always present

    any idea?

    Thank you

    Yann

CS3 is very old. What does Acrobat 8? If so, make sure you are at updated to Acrobat 8.1.0

  • Shared 64-bit Adobe PDF Converter, the error "Invalid Handle". (The 32-bit computer print request)

    I have at my disposal a Windows 7, 64-bit, laptop and a Windows Server 2008, 32-bit.

My suite Adobe CC is installed on the laptop, but the server needs to stay as stripped down as possible.

There are help files built into some software (on the server) I want to convert to PDF format rather than print them. As with many printers, I thought that I could share the PDF driver installed by Acrobat Pro software, and then just send the coil on the server. I fell initially on missing driver problems, so I google a solution where there are additional drivers contained in program files (x 86). However, there were several enigmatic named "* .inf" any files that showed up some certificates of 6 driver that all had the same name. Talk about directions being useless, even if they were right. In all cases, the first installation of the driver came with promising results, but no final file. I thought I could just update the shared, 32-bit driver, but will understand that the option to refresh the secondary driver was not found. The recognized common dialogue clearly, I installed one, but an option to update or manual removal is not provided.

I'm at a point where I'd like Adobe to just show me some love and throw the 32-bit Setup program Adobe PDF Converter that would have been incorporated into earlier versions of Adobe Acrobat. If anyone could lead me in the right direction to solve my problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

Acrobat is not approved for use on the server. If you can print PostScript on the server, you can take the postscript file and distill them on your version of Distiller.
