  It will be interesting to know what country you purchased your laptop Portege.
  In any case if you need drivers always check Toshiba support page which is part of the country where you bought your laptop.

  Remove the HARD drive second bottom.
  Check if there is a second HARD drive controller available.
  Is there no connector then you cannot install the second HARD drive!

  I don't know exactly, but your laptop computer has Realtek or Atheros WLAN card.

  By the way: a long time ago I ve installed Win7 32 bit on friends L300 and it still works perfectly.
