• Smart Sharpen extremely slow after update CC2015

  I like the sharpness was working a lot, all ok in Photoshop CC2014.

  But after the update to CC2015 it works extremely slow.  Rendering final, but for all the actions in the smart sharpen box.

  Hi gabriela86,

  Thanks for posting a response to answers.microsoft.com

  Instead of re - install Windows, why not try using the boot minimum process to refine and isolate what is causing the slowness of the system, be it a program or a service.

  Here is a link to troubleshooting with the boot process.  Try step 1, and then see if you encounter the problem, otherwise go to step 2 and so on and so forth until the issue is isolated when it is isolated post causing the hang up in the forum and we you search with you.

  After the diagnosis is made, please make sure to follow step 7 in the boot process to ensure that you have your system booted to a Normal State.

• Imports are extremely SLOW after update to 2015.3

  I am experiencing gruelingly slow imports, several minutes to 1 clip that, before the update was almost instantaneous. I produce a weekly and have a very solid workflow that is identical to each week. The only thing that has changed is the version of the first everything is technically identical to before including the clip length give or take a few seconds, format, codec ect. If I try to interact with the import dialog box, as in the move, it says "not responding" but will finally complete the import.

  There are a couple of new options... or of differences in the application of the old options... that can cause such things.

  Most probably one is "Enable accelerated H.264 encoding"... which seems to slow almost everyone... found here and as shown, I suggest to disable (uncheck) this option:

  You can start by uninstalling the remains of CleanMyMac3. But I do not think that this will greatly improve things. The long duration of Etrecheck indicates that the hard drive has failed.

  I was using Windows Vista Home Basic 32 bit OS in my Dell Inspiron 1501. The operating system is preinstalled and Windows Update updated to SP2. But recently an unknown problem has occurred and my laptop cannot connect to the internet. As no reason was found, experts have advised the reinstallation of Windows Vista. I reinstalled Vista by running the operating system provided by Dell with my laptop DVD. The laptop started to connect to the internet normally.

  I started to receive an update to Windows Vista SP1. I installed it. Installation has suddenly didn't have that about five minutes and the computer also has not restarted several times on its own as expected.   I had the same problem and it really irritated me. Even when you install SP1, and he says there are successful (takes like 1 sec inst) and you click on updates search is there once again. He said in the story who is has been installed, but is not there, when I tried to install SP2 maually it is said first install SP1, and then I tried to manually install SP1 and it says that I have already. You can download the SP to install it manually, simply google "manually install SP1/2 for vista" or something and download it.
