  I'm new to APEX and I develop an application to manage Oracle database user accounts.  I have a (8) page that has text elements for the user name and the database name.  I have a submit button (this works very well) who deliver... the ALTER USER statement to reset his password and unlock the account.  I have another button that if:

  1. get the value of username - P8_USERNAME
  2. assign to an element of application - FIND_USER_IN_DB
  3. redirect the page application - page 11

  The issue is that FIND_USER_IN_DB does not get filled and page 11 which is a simple report with the following query:

  SELECT *.

  OF valid_db

  WHERE username =: FIND_USER_IN_DB;

  How to achieve this?

  A page redirect is actually nothing more than the rendering of an anchor tag or call apex.navigation.redirect. The link provided by these is generated when the page is rendered. Thus, when the page is rendered (in charge) and P8_USERNAME session state is NULL, then the link will be an empty value. There is nothing sad about the fact that when you change the value of the element on a page that session state will not change automatically and it's just about understanding session state.

  Now that I've created my form, I want to display on a web page so that the public can download a copy and fill it.  I have set up with a button 'Send' oriented toward the target e-mail address.  Tips or concerns, that I should be aware of?

  No tricks - just download it on the server and link to it. The only thing you need to know is that not all browsers show the form correctly and allow the user to fill out the form and send it by e-mail: If the browser uses the Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader plug-in to view the PDF file, there is no problem, but if you're dealign with a browser that is not no default viewer PDF from Adobe (for example Firefox) , or does not allow the Adobe plug-in to display PDF file, things will not work in the best: the user will most likely download the PDF file and open it in Acrobat or Reader so that your form can work properly. And, if someone opens the form on a mobile device, all bets are off regarding what will work.

  I would like to add to the download link instructions that tell your users need to download the file to your desktop and use Adobe Acrobat or Reader free to complete and submit the form.

• Firefox makes my filling out forms online when the standard form of information such as name, address, e-mail, phone number. I went just from Goole Chrome who had this feature.

  Google Chrome would provide drop-down list prompt you for this information that I started to enter the information. I would just like to point out the correct prompt and press enter and the information must be entered in the online form.

  Hi Pat, you can't test splits a form as with additional data because there as additional data.

  So if you add fields to a web form you must add them to the form in the admin.

  (Other payment then that is server-side) fields are only required based on javascript code, if you add in the admin, you must add them to a web form and also to include in the validation javascript at the bototm of the form.

  With regard to the appearance of the shape it appear differently on different A B testing pages to see then the conversion rate, the only kind of split testing would be based on designs.

  OK... This will be long, but I want to put as much information for the pros in this.

  I want to submit a form to my computer that is 2 offices away from me...  See... this form goes class 10 times a day by maybe 3 different ppl. And now they are writng by hand. This form contains about 200 areas... Once completed, I want that they hit PRINT and print a copy and SEND and BOOM he sends the pdf to my other 2 computer desks. This computer is in itself... It was built to be a server... but does nothing but host atm software.

  1 TB worth of space and can take more if necessary.

  What ive done!  OK... I tried to create a form and have someone create a lil servlet and servlet submitedthru some php file sent to a DB <-didn't!  First of all, I can't create a DB... and a shape that has 200 questions or more... someone said, it's a lot of work and I can pay a few fingers for a database as large.

  Second, I asked can I just submit PDF like LCD asking you to. PROBLEM: the computer that we submit to is a computer, no one is there. So u send an email to it, is like the dbl work. 1nce a week id must go and dl all emails... and... NAH. Too much.

  Liveceylce also asked submit the PDF to a url like http:// . I like tat. That's what I want to... I can do this standalone host a url if I easily and submit to that. Tried it not help... I sent to http://testing.servebeer.com/mydocuments <-I know its fake., but I can't think.

  So I return to acrobat and look for thru... and what do I see... a feature that might work. I don't know how it works, but it works... When clikc submit you, the form is returned to the manufacturer or whatever. Works like a charm I think. Problem, when I tried to get my livecycle form in acrobat, this option didn't for me. Why?

  So now I'm back to square one. A document to be submitted by something other than e-mail.

  Reason for all this: well heres the thing... When the burses fill out, they print a copy in the file and we're done... Problem... What happens if someone Vienna steal files? NO RETURN TO THE TOP. What about a fire? No RETURN to the TOP.

  

  You will not be able to hide the path of Acrobat to save directly on the disc came out. You could submit to a server program and have this record in your name. This hide the path of the user and also make it easier because it is enough to set up a mapping on a single machine.

  Hi all,

  I discovered a solution by myself: the reason why the buttons to navigate through the table of contents was disappeared in the meantime on most of the online help systems, it is probably that it is easy to navigate through Arow upward or downwards and press Enter, if the content on the left component has focus. It's a shame, but I didn't know this before.

  So it's more a question for training users, which in our case is possible, because we have a very closed group of users.

  1. login to your application and open the form online you want as a favorite in the workspace of planning

  2. now go to Administration-> copy the document link

  3. connect in the workspace file-> import-> URL

  4. here, you paste the copied URL.

  5 in the URL that you copied, you paste the sso_token next = % SSO_TOKEN % &

  You copy this after EnterData.jsp

  6. now save and finish

  7. you will see the URL in the workspace, you need right click and add to Favorites. Now you will see the URL as a favorite

  When retrieve us forms form/assets/point endpoint {identifier} REST, we notice that when we make the HTML code in the "html" field, input text fields contain < eloqua / > tags than their values.

  Everything else works fine. Is it possible to omit tags eloqua?

  Forms returned by the API are structured for our Landing Pages that contain markup. You can scan the document and remove these items to make embed-able.

  We'll look at adding this feature in a future version of the API. Hope this helps and please let me know if you need more information.

  I would like to know how to use Flash components, and documentation and tutorials that I have found are beyond my comprehension. I usually go to FlashKit and just rehash someone's code... but once again, I would like to know how to use Flash components.

  So I did a tutorial on the toggle button, but it was:

  1. click on the button and a window opens to a different place on canvas

  2. click on the new button and the same disappears from the window.

  What I need is this?

  It's a video game and I would be click on a button and this button even be filled with new graphics. I mean, the graphics is a skull, and I would have start like a skull dark (as if a negative value) and when you click it, the skull appears... click it again and it went (or this skull negative or dark representing it is off).

  So this is different the tutorial that I did because the pop-up window is the button itself, and the window that opens me to impede click on it again.

  I would also like to use this same idea of selection deselect game options.

  You can have the code from almost any where you want.  The irreducible hardcore will say you should have all code in external class files the next guy of them you should have everything in frame 1 of the main timeline... eventually you meet guys (like me) who say do whatever you are comfortable make - you will learn by doing, so this is the important part the finest skills will develop over time.  A movieclip can have its own code that it contains you just as a place on the timeline and let to manage.

  When you use the word nest, however, this can have negative connotations.  When it comes to code and functions, it is a bad habit to nest functions within other functions and is never really necessary.

  As indicated, the clickable buttons have disappeared from some Web pages. Not only the image of buttons, but the buttons themselves, which is nothing to click on. I tried to disable all add-ons, no change. I created a new profile, without change. Checked the javascript, it is enabled. Page style is activated. I started Firefox in safe mode, the buttons are once more displayed and clickable. The only thing I have not done is reset Firefox, because I don't know how 'reset' will be and I don't want to destroy my profile.
  I'm not proficient in web formats or programming of Firefox, so if I need to add more specific information please let me know what it takes. Added in the requested field of troubleshooting information.

  Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.
