  I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L505-13n I buy a week before and I clearly install windows 7 ultimate 64 bit Greek with all drivers 64-bit for this laptop that I find in the toshiba site.

  Retest with original Toshiba recovery image. With the settings everything should work well. If this is not the case, there must be a hardware problem.
  You can try with the BIOS update, but in my opinion, it is not best idea.

  Laptop is new and everything should work again.
  Test it with the original recovery image without having to install the updates or other software, just clean recovery image. If the problem persists, contact the nearest Toshiba service provider to check the functionality of the keyboard.

  I have a L505-13N and I recently changed the HARD drive. Even if I had a copy of the installation for win7 64 bit disc, there is a message at the beginning of the "set up services" that the installation could not proceed with this material...
  In any case, I installed the 32-bit version that came with the laptot.

  After installation, I tried to install the updates, but it's impossible. In a first time, that there was a message that the service can not started. I restarted services updates and the laptop itself, but nothing different happened. The same message.

  I tried both 'fix it' packages available for windows, but nothing has changed.
  I tried to install an inspection tool for installing sp1 (Windows6 1 - KB947821 - v33 - x 86) and it gives me the 0xc8000247 error message and no installation.

  The GM45 chipset, I think.  The integrated graphic part is the GMA 4500MHD.

  I'm a bit of a gamer and I tried a few games on my own so far.  I think the 4500MHD is quite reasonable.  He isn't a speed demon, but it's good enough to play more modern games with some details turned down.  It's much better than some of the previous integrated Intel graphics chips.

  I find that impossible to believe.  Why in the world, HP would do that?  I read in a post on the forums that this laptop

  falls in the top 5% for overall performance for laptops.  How is it, unless it has sata 2?  Why would they

  have old Sata 1 in these new technologies?

  Can anyone confirm if HP Support is correct?  I have the second guy guess himself right now and he asked serial number try to find documentation in support of its application.  I can have to RMA this beast and starts looking for a laptop that has SATA II because it's the main reason I wanted a laptop!  For the SSD to IMPRESS me!

  I bought directly from HP.com, so I could have everything in it that you can't get in a retail store.  She could not grab anywhere on hp.com does it let you know if you get sata 1 or sata 2.   No option not and should not be.  It should automatically be sata 2!  SATA we looked so much like 1998!
