• 8.0.0.145 Captivate project file fails and is corrupted on save

  I'm having the problem extremely aggravating where if I try to save my Captivate project file, I crash, then the file is corrupted and I can't reopen (thus losing my unsaved changes). So my only current solution - and of course a 'play with fire' - one is to NOT save the file. I can do all the rest: Preview, publish and so forth. I just can't save.

  First version of 8 bit was buggy, why don't install you the patches? The current version of 8 is 8.0.3.

  In order to test the features and get feedback from users in my company, I created learning content using a trial version of Captivate 9 with a trial version of the first Captivate. Now, I've paid the subscription at the same time. But, when I go into my first learning modules Captivate created using Captivate 9 I get an error saying "project has expired."

  Is there a way to upgrade these modules WITHOUT, their reconstruction in the licensed version of 9 Captivate and reissue?

  You just need to activate the Captivate > open the project in a licensed version of Captivate and download the modules again at a premium and it will start working again.

  My library is which can be used or created in other applications of CC. Libraries are common to many applications like Photoshop, Illustrator... CC to mention two of the most well known, very useful if you want to reuse the same elements of assets and palettes of colors on these applications. If you don't have a CC account and work only with Captivate (project and full), it doesn't have much meaning, except perhaps for the storage of the color themes (attention: not the full colors of Captivate theme palettes) you create within the Captivate project (not only in the app or color Adobe Office application).  But once you're in Captivate itself, you'll need create a complete theme color palette. I wrote a few articles on the creation of such a range in Captivate, but need to update because it is now possible to save a palette created in color in a file, the only way to import it into complete Captivate. I thought that the + button would add a color scheme or a color chosen from the library, but it does not work for me. I'll explore more, because I have not used the Captivate project since I bought a Pro Surface where I have access to the application of the comprehensive CP. If I find it, post on the sign more +.

  The problem is that my library (or any other CC library) is not available in cptx normal-projects, as in the Captivate project. I sincerely hope to have access to these libraries as well cptx files in a future version, but at the moment, it is not the case.   Are you on Windows? This isn't an error, warning, just an offer to change the browser.  I don't see and have several browsers as well. Could check you what browser is linked to the files with the html? It can be another parameter in Win as well, I'm still on Win7 myself. This seems to be another version, you've improved recently?

  Return to your LMS administrator and ask them why they have not put in place more firmly. The scenario you mention should not occur if the LMS is well attached.

  Some LMS have the contents of the course are in a folder outside the web space so that users can access the course URL directly.  For example, Moodle t - it this way and then shot the course content in a temporary folder when the learner clicks on the link ask a module.  No matter how your LMS is supposed to do, it is currently not configured correctly.

  If the police will not be on the end user's computer, it won't make a difference.

  You should try to include a web font, but you cannot use those during the creation of course, so when you publish or correct fonts you have alignment issues.

  In response to both Richard & Stan.  I received the error message ""device error", Code '3' notes Create Sequence of STC: cannot write file M25.»  Or something very similar to this, but I think it was exactly that.  It was my first HD project but used several times to make projects sustainable development without problems that were not of my own creation.  So it was a shock and cost me money and the failure to meet a deadline.  What I did: on-screen 'Build '.

  It is an object of zoom, right?  Strange, but I do not see the track at all when previewing. You may be using game slide, which is not at all a preview mode?

  A tip: for the best quality of the magnified image, you can create an image yourself of the zoomed area and use the button Add new Image to replace the one generated automatically, which can become pixelated.

  Default bitrate is near CD-quality, 96 kbps. CD bitrate is 128 Kbps, I do not understand why you want to push very high for simple VO? I understand you want to have a better quality for music, but even then, it is useful to create items of such a large size for assets that will be broadcast on the web? Isn't this overkill? Use a good microphone, recording, possibly in a dedicated audio application which allows more control (I use hearing) and the default bitrate for VO is sufficient. You can add wav files to Captivate, they will be compressed as mp3 on the edition, or if you think that it is better to compress MP3 yourself.

  This is my personal opinion, and I'm a musician as a response to your question: the maximum value for the custom in Captivate bitrate is 320 Kbps (never used)

  I don't think that it would be possible to put the html code for this kind of function to call a css page and other things to get in shape.  Basically what I can pull the HTML that Captivate kicks just outside allows to establish the size of the viewport, resolution and basic information.  As I manipulate it so that I don't get a button "play" when I publish html5 on an I device and to make the address bar disappear a I device.

  I have a suggestion though.  If you could publish the timeline to an independent web address from captivate, you can call it as a web object from the captivate (another widget).  It opens just a Web page in captivate, or another possibility would be to have a call from both key page you have opened a new window of the browser of captivate.  Once the user has seen the chronology and closes the browser, they are immediately in the captivate project where they had left him.

  When you test a published captivate project... I click on the button text to go to the next slide before the slide is made (because the learners will do) and the project stops.

  I prefer to use the buttons (as I believe they are).

  Can you access the properties of the button and check under option - check the calendar - to Pause after, set it to 0.1 seconds.

  Now repeat and check if it jumpts your one-way drag or not?
