  Using Safari 9.0, I'm trying to figure out how I can add the 'Reading list' icon (glasses) to my bookmarks bar. I don't see that there is a tab bookmarks in Safari Preferences more.

  It is not in the Safari preferences.

  Click on the top of the Favorites icon on the left in your Safari window then click the list of reading glasses.

  The bookmarks icon is just to the right of the Green sidebar.

  Hello, I am looking for help for iBooks and iOS 10.  Before iOS 10 I could read my iBook in landscape and actually looked like a book I would read if I bought it, but now if I read a book and a landscape I'm not seeing that more in iBooks, now that I'm in class place my iPad iOS 10. Can someone help me?

  I understand that when read your ebook in iBooks for iOS 10 reviews landscape you're used to seem a little different in the version update of iBooks. With the updates and upgrades will come from small changes in the way in which your apps to display its contents. If you are still able to read the book through view of landscape, this we know that the application works as expected. You can try to adjust the appearance of the iBooks app to have it look exactly as you wish during playback in landscape mode.
  
  

  Change the appearance of your books

  You can adjust some features of some ePub books or some books created with iBooks author, including:
  Size of the font. Choose from the included fonts. For the moment, cannot install and use custom fonts.
  Text color and the background. In iBooks 4.0 or later, you can use three themes: white, sepia and night. (Select option at night to read books in the dark.) Turn on the Auto-nuit theme to automatically switch to the theme of the night in low light.

  I have the same question. While the notification options can be more robust in 10, they are also difficult to read.  I took a quick glance through the accessibility options, but there is nothing that affect only the Notifications.

  I put t have Memory Stick Pro Duo cards, but I looked in the user manual and the card reader supports SD/MS/MS Pro/MMC/cards xD and it looks like that the MS Duo Pro cards are not supported.

  I think you need to use an external card reader. I bought a Kingston external card reader and it works fine.

  I'm new to tablets but I was hoping that I could upload photos of my card compact flash via USB.

  The cable supplied with the pieces of card in a USB male reader, so I bought a USB female / male micro USB cable to connect to the tablet.

  Unfortunately the Tablet does not seem to recognize that any device is connected.

  Do I need a special software or a driver device or just advice?

  Unfortunately, the 10 HD Slate has no circuits to do what you're trying.  I'm sorry.  :-(

  The Tablet has a slot for micro-SD card.  If you can locate a Compact Flash adapter sleeve that holds a micro SD card, it would be a direct solution.

  Other workaround solutions using a computer as a man in the middle and the transfer can be made via cable or wifi.  Cloud storage is another thought.

  My computer is a Samsung NP350E7C-A01US.  I just bought a little over a month ago at Staples.  It works on non-touchscreen version of WIndows 8.  It did not come with a SD card reader.  I bought one the other day, called a Digipower DP-MCR4 multicard reader and the computer will not recognize.  I tried to send an email the manufacturer and besides an e-mail generic "we received your message" they haven't comes back to me.  I need help to find a way to install this.

• How to install acrobat reader successfully?

  I am totally unable to download acrobat reader. I bought a new laptop HP running windows 64 bits 10 and I am unable to get acrobat to load in any version or on any browser. All I get is the "Application initialization error" message and then my browser opens the page to download the same and the cycle starts again. I looked at the help pages, but this "application initialization error" does not seem to exist on the help page search index so I am subject to the forum for help.

• XPS 8500 CPU connection monitor question

  First of all, my apologies if the question I'm about to ask answered several times or seems stupid. I sought an answer in the database of the product and on the different for one for what I consider to be a reasonable period of time and has not found an answer. I tend to replace (high-end) computers about every 5-6 years and all replacements comes a new set of technologies to learn and understand. (I'm also more than 60 years, but please don't hold that against me-one day you will be this age too if you're lucky and try to live right)  My old Sony Vaio desk had the usual video output VGA I hooked to a monitor CRT even older and later in a flat screen monitor.

  OK, so what is my question? Pretty basic: I bought a new 27 '' HD 1080 p Viewsonic monitor and find he has two input jacks-one is the customary VGA and the other titled "DVI - D '. The new '' has usually taken VGA output and then taken two apparent labeled additional video output: HDMI and "[0]" (?)  I really don't like that means taking [0], but I would like to know how I can get the highest definition possible/resolution displayed on my HDTV? The Dell quick start guide under 'Connect the Display' shows five different connection next to the VGA version configurations. I bought my local Fry Electronics HDMI cable, but have no idea if its what I need or if it will work with the configuration of my CPU and monitor. In addition, Dell put two black plastic plugs into the socket HDMI and Sockets [0] so should I infer that they are 'dead' links or what? Please don't tell me to request a refund of CPU Dell or call Geek Squad and pay $300 to get out and connect a cable... It is impossible THAT complicated-it's all in knowing which wire to connect to the place where seems simple. Thanks in advance for any valid response. I contact Dell technical support and after waiting 15 minutes for the agent to answer my question, I released on bail.

"VGA" alleged out Jack at the bottom of the back of the CPU is actually NOT a VGA port (which has 3 rows of 5 pins of each for a total of 15 pins) on further review, (put my reading glasses) he has three rows of eight pins per line (total 24) left a 4 socket side pins in a sign more or configuration. My monitor has the same number of pine (24) entries in the same configuration (without the 4 pin side socket), so assuming the same number of pins (24) is compatible between the CPU and the monitor, all I have to do now is to get the appropriate cable and the problem is solved.   However, users often get confused about what could be a 1st Gen AirPort Express.  Please check to locate the model number of the Express... it's on the side of the unit... hard to see... so you need good lighting and reading glasses.  The model number starts with an 'A' follow-up of four digits.

  A 1st Gen AirPort Express is A1264 model number.  The 1st Gen means that it was the first Express to use 802.11 "n" wireless.

  If you see A1084 or A1088, it is wireless a lot more old "b/g" which has been sold long before that Apple has started using the generation of naming when 802.11n model was introduced in 2008.

  If that's what you have, then you will probably need to use WPA - PSK - TKIP security settings.

  My superdrive drive started acting funny (not eject disks and then do not read), so I bought an external dvd reader/player.
  Everything worked fine until I installed an SSD instead the superdrive.
  Now, when I go to play a DVD in the DVD drive external drive says "there was an error of initialization, a valid dvd drive could not be found."

  Other applications do not recognize the dvd either, as they did.

  Disk utility will find the dvd if it is in drive but you will not find the player if there is no DVD.

  Is there something I can do to recognize the DVD player as the default player for the iMac?

  There is nothing to recognize without a disc in the DVD player. It's normal. Apple's DVD player software does not work on my iMac 2009 with the original drive in an external case because I also installed an SSD in the optical Bay. I use VLC to watch videos. My disc burning software, Toast, recognizes external very well.

  Here is the document on the implementation for different kinds of digital lines (think VOIP is not listed) that could work however, the fax modules used in probably all HP AIO are for analogue telephone lines only (the kind of Ma Bell telephone lines that have nothing to do with computers).  So, you could be just out of luck unless you want to pay for another standard analog line in your home for the fax.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but makes no sense you need to beat your head in frustration on something that is not likely to ever work.  Oh and another thing - make absolutely sure that the telephone line is connected to the fax to send/receive is the one supplied with the printer, they are not your average phone cords that come with phones or you can pick up at the local super store.
