Reading too fast: Please help!

Hi all

I used Adobe Audition 1.5 for many years (I have also tried with version 3, but my computer is too slow to run it well) and has recently purchased a new computer and thought I would update to CS5.5. I recently recorded a session with an ensemble of 8 musicians and I have a major problem that I can not understand! I recorded the sessions and while listening to them on that day, I recorded, all sounded very good. The next day when I opened the sessions all of them played back too fast. The music is a semitone too high in height. I'm completely baffled as to why it happened, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the sampling rate.

I'm on a PC running Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit). I use a Presonus Firepod as my audio interface that I set to 48 kHz. My Adobe Audition sessions can also be programmed to 48 kHz. I did something unusual that set again the paths of files of sessions in a more coherent system of record. It opens everythihng always fine, but sessions are replaying at too high a pitch. If someone could help me with suggestions, I would be very grateful. I have a lot of people waiting for mixdowns for this one and I'm in a bit of panic!

I checked all the samples used in the session already and they are ID'ed as 48 k. The multitrack session, it also suggests reading is at 48 k. Do you think I should try to re - sample all the files at 44.1? I'm afraid to do it, because I tried to do it with a .wav file that does not need, and CS5.5 does not allow me to cancel it!

You can just stamp the header without resampling. It will not be reduced the audio because it does not change any of the headers. Take one of the files and use the change > interpret Sample Rate order on this subject:

If all the clips in the session starts in the same exact spot, you can cheat the session as well be simply change the header in the file SESX (using a text editor). However, if you already have automation or several clips from different places, it becomes a little more difficult. No they won't make a difference, and is in fact to design. Given that you have saved the files directly on the disk in the multitrack, there is no reason to store in a file with a depth of greater than 24 - bit because your sound card is _actually_ be able to produce data at a resolution (in or) more than 24 bits.

Hello. I installed first Pro CC and I imported video files of my cameras Nikon D4s and D810. During playback, the speed is too fast, and I don't understand a word because of the speed. Why is this? Retina of MacBook Pro battery SUPER fast, please help?

I tried to restore my system. Did not work.

I tried to reinstall the driver for the HP fingerprint reader. Did not work.

Biometric devices do not even appears in my device manager.

I'm stuck, and I would really like to have it working again. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You could try the following:

Specifications - power reset to solve Hardware and Software issues-Non-removable battery

OR

Laptops - power reset to solve hardware and software - removable battery

Power reset cannot tell the difference between drivers - it does not analyze a driver before applying.

EXAMPLE:
- If the driver on the disk is the wrong driver before rebooting, it's always the wrong driver after the reset.
- If the INSTRUCTIONS of the driver are tangled, messed up, missing or damaged, then the reset may solve the problem.
Why a power reset works to solve some problems:

The power reset does not install anything on your computer, it does not remove anything from your computer and reset does not "alter" on your computer. Your data and programs remain as they were before the reset has been applied. Reset runs the old instructions and makes the computer go to the operating system on drive to get new instructions.

Why a power reset does not work:

If the problem is more than a simple tangle, if 'good job' on the computer is not good enough - in other words, you need an update, a new driver, or there is a problem that can not be "unraveled", then reset won't work.

PC is no longer reading CD rom please help

Hello, recently my CD rom had stopped working. He went not recognized by my PC. In my device manager, he gave me this may be corrupted (code 39) message. I tried a restore of the system and in vain. I tried unplugging and got similar results. So I tried also two other CD ROM with the same results proving that it was not just a bad CD-ROM drive. It's something on the motherboard I guess. So the next day I notice that my speakers and the printer have disappeared from my computer and are unread. And any external devices appear to have become unreadable as well. My solution for these had to go in ' windows, run, type in services.msc and the list of things he had everything in a disabled state. " I put everything I could back automatic and started their. It fixed the problem with my missing printer, speaker and flash problems, but I still have a problem with my CD ROM When I go into the information system and for system devices tab it also stipulates that the point 'cdrom' is stopped. Now, my system will not read my CD Rom at all and is not yet validated as a code 39 or a problem device that it completely misjudged. My question is how can I start my cdrom from order status to started. And in general, what do you suggest that I do to solve this problem. I'm completely stumped.

The error indicates that - Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

There are many causes of Code 39 errors:
A required device driver is missing.
A required binary file is corrupted.
There is a problem with the process I/O file

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060

Method 2: If the problem persists then try touninstall and reinstall the driver DVD in Device Manager.

(a) click Startand then click Control Panel.

(b) click system and Maintenanceand then click System.

(c) in the hardware tab, click Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

(d) in Device Manager, expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on the device CD and DVD and then click on Uninstall.

(e) when you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

(f) restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

You can also search for a driver updated the manufacturer and install the latest version.

FLA file is way too big, please help.

My FLA file is at 103.9 MB in size! The SWF file is only 160 KB. I can't seem to find out what is the cause, but if

I had a small sample of a simulation of turret (100 lines of code, including spaces). Included in the library I
a small (less than 40 x 40) tour, ball and monster that was done in Flash. I have a background which is the size of
the app (640 x 480), a single color, also done in Flash. And then I have 3 sounds. 2 are 1 sec or less and are in mp3 format
and the format of wav (12 KB and 4 KB). Besides, I have a final MP3 which is 1.2 MB for the background music.
Well, I thought it might be the big MP3, so I dropped it. No change in file size! I checked my library for additional files,
but there is nothing. Does anyone have a suggestion?

First, try using Save and Compact. This eliminates the historical information of the file. If add you and remove content, Flash still love to cling to the memories of it, so using Save and Compact is a process of brainwashing.

If you don't realize not much savings doing that, you can try to recreate the file through the chronology of the copy to a new file.

In addition, if you have unused stuff in the library, get rid of it will reduce the size of the file as well.

You have used a FLWOR expression (the 'for' + 'return' part of it) in this post: Re: Please help to read the XML with XMLTable

And I have already said: do not use in this case.

Faster or slower isn't the point. Oracle will evaluate the expression in the same way.

But from a maintenance point of view, it's obviously much easier to use a simple XPath expression like this:

A bug? Reading Photoshop Action is too fast, after upgrade CS5 - CS6! My action does not work

On a PC
I upgraded to CS5 in CS6 (cloud) over the long weekend and I'm now facing a massive headache. Process actions that I use extensively for my work are all foxed by the simple problem reading action going too fast for the script on two documents to stand. I've tried everything I can think of, but the only thing that allows the action to progress substantially (as in previous versions of the software) is the step by step playback mode. It's too slow to use on an ongoing basis.
The problem is caused by the following sequence
Save as a document (on the desktop)
Opened as a document - open that Camera Raw - after settings open in Photoshop
Select all
Copy
Closed - registration No.
(PS automatically selects previous document)
+++ Paste +++ command ERROR paste is not currently available
This is where Photoshop choose the previous/underlying document before applying the Paste command. Since the upgrade its been trying to paste the Clipboard in the fraction of a second after the closure and by selecting the previous document and have reported no documents available to all. Slow down or if stop playback with step by step or stop and continue works around the problem but the workflow causes to slow down considerably.
Is it possible to script a break during this time crucial one? Or is there a setting preferably I forgot it's breakage behaviour?

This is a bug. The work around is to record a change in the speed of reading before and after the paste.

While you are, you would also look at "less than 50% of the pixels are selected," it would be really great if we could cancel this warning when batch processing of images and using measures.

I am very new to this XML thing in the oracle. My question is I have the XML file that is stored in my table as the clob data type and I want to read this data XML file and insert them into different tables.
We use a server Oracle version 9.2.0.2

I bet that any Internet search engine could also give useful answers.

Anyway, here's a start with your sample xml (assuming that the document is stored in the column T.DOC):

He breaks some elements of your document into columns and relational rows so that you can just insert directly into your final tables.

of course, it's another format darn owner, so you will need a copy of Windows media player for mac. (or VLC) there is a way to convert, however, but I suspect it will not free
