Real Player not disabled, now no videos, YouTube even not

The Real Player Record Plugin 15.0.4 in Firefox 13 arrested on videos. Cannot even read a YouTube video.
He worked for until the 13 last Firefox update. Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium. No information on Real Player. Can't find a simple way to reduce Firefox.
Looks like I might have to change their browser and everything. I use Firefox in the early days. Make it easy to fix this.

Hey tom, this problem is caused by the update of the plugin flash to adobe for version 11.3 - roll back your firefox won't help, for common solutions, please refer to that 11.3 Flash does not load video in Firefox

  • After you have installed Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash Player 11.6 20.0, videos YouTube do not load correctly.

Videos YouTube has of worked before installing Adobe Flash Player. Once installed the screen flickers, after a second, rewind at the start, then plays normally. This only happens when I use Internet Explorer. I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player several times but nothing seems to work. Decommissioning of Adobe Flash Player does not work either. It seems that Firefox is the problem, but I'm not completely sure.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • YouTube Player API - disable the link to YouTube

So I use the API of YouTube AS3Player (https://developers.google.com/youtube/flash_api_reference#Standalone_sample) to embed a YouTube video in my Flash file.

The problem is that the I have to disable the video from the link to the YouTube page, when you click on the YouTube link at the bottom right of the video.

I'm sure there could be different soultions for this - in the actionscript, HTML or Javascript, and I'm open to anything. Can someone help me this?

N ° YouTube reserves this right because you use their APIs, their player and their bandwidth. You need use the media yourself to remove it.

I think YouTube is great because it is a built-in audience. If you want something brand controlled, broadcast your own server (site5.com is a great unlimited army at low cost). But also to post the video on YouTube. Crosslink them. It's the best of both worlds. Your work on your site seems custom with no logo, on YouTube, it has a logo, but you can include a link to your site.

You can't really blame YouTube justifying this little gratification for what they do for you.

  • I have firefox 13 and 15 but realplayer download this video option does not work, extensions to save plugin is disabled, if no videos do not play in youtube

I have Firefox 13 and real player 15, but the download this video option does not work, under extensions to save browser plugin is disabled, but if active videos do not play in youtube, error occurs, it's major drawback, it works well with IE, but I prefer Firefox so any help to rectify the issue is appreciated.

One possibility is to upgrade to Flash 11.2 and re - activate the Plugin RealPlayer browser Record extension in the Add-ons Manager (Tools > Modules > Extensions) (it's a softblock).

If you need to return to 11.2 Flash you can download Player Flash 11.2 through this direct link:

Most of the time after the release of a new version of Firefox, the modules can become inconsistent. It's the developer to solve these problems and update accordingly. You can contact the developer of their modules page.

You can try to contact the RealPlayer support to see if they have any patches

You can also use an alternative to RealPlayer (if you use it to download videos). These are based on the web and I'll give a few extensions so

  • my real player has all-of-a-sudden started download videos from youtube in mp4. No flv as previously. How can I fix it?

I have been using real player for some time and was able to download youtube videos.  My real player has all-of-a-sudden started download videos from youtube in mp4. No flv as previously. How can I fix it?

Real Player download all videos in mp4, it depends on the video that you download.

To me, it seems as Real Downloader download videos in mp4 more often rather than a flv. recent files.
If the video you downloaded is a mp4 file you can still play it in another media player like Windows Media Player, but for me, most downloaded with Real Downloader mp4 files have no sound when played in Windows Media Player.
As you probably know, you can buy Real Player Plus for read, trim or convert mp4 files in RealPlayer. If my guess is that it's way to Real to get people to buy Real Player Plus. Or maybe not, I had this same problem and I don't know what the cause is at the present time.

Well, it might be useful to test if HTML5 vs Flash makes a difference. There are a couple of extensions to force the Flash on YouTube. I have no idea which is better:

  • YOU TUBE DOWNLOAD VIA REAL PLAYER WILL NOT PLAY

Just downloaded some videos on YouTube using Real Player. They play OK on the computer and are presented as being on the sansa player but it does not recognize. Looking at the properties, they do not have a second "tab. What is the problem? Any ideas please? My friends have ipods, and it works on their Grrr. Please save my face!

Have solved this problem. After the download, Real Player offers to convert. The options do not include the "rocket" [I wonder why!] but does not include a set custom, so I created a choice .wmv and .wma for the final format. Then I converted the files into the folder my videos. Use the Sansa Media Converter and the job done! Problem is now that the Sansa has chosen to delete some of my music library in the process. At first, I thought that this need of space - but it didn't. So resolved and a new approach.
