Reanalyzing stabilized Warp Clips

Premiere2014 CC works quite well. Slow as hell but still usable.  It has now become almost unusable.  Every time I go out the project is saved more automatic backup t - it every 30 minutes. However when I open the stabilization of deformation shows red in the timeline and the new managers must analyze provided. There are approximately 13 clips that it does whenever stinking.  There are also about 10 or if other clips that do not have stability in the chain and they are fine.

When I hit the button analyze, the moment of computer cpu hits 100% and physical memory shows 90 to 95%.  The analysis is slower than molasses. Not funny.  Once all the clips are analyzed one by one, the memory usage is pegged at about 6.5 GB and cpu is attached as I said above. It is impossible to read.  That was not all yesterday when I installed it first.  In the hopes of making the components of the package, I save the project (twice) and first exit.  It stops quickly, but keeps the mem and cpu pegged for another 3 or 4 minutes and then all of a sudden all the mem and cpu return usable.  I have mem 8 GB installed as two 4 GB sticks.  Computer was bought last year and is quickly with a geoforce graphics card.  When I open the project next time, all the parameters of the analysis have disappeared and he wants to re - analyze the frames again on 13 clips.

There is no possible way that I can make my preview files after analysis since the system is attached.  I tried.  Is only 4 minutes of 1080 p/30 frames per second, it would take days.  Everything was slow but very well yesterday.  Now, it's frustrating and unusable.

I have an internal drive to 400GO with the program. and an external USB drive of 1 t for vid files. It wasn't like this yesterday and everything worked.

Any help is appreciated.

[Please choose only a brief description to the title of the thread.]

With 7-8 short clips (6-12 sec) using the stabilization chain I normally max 4 CPU and use 20 GB mem +. I think that 8 GB mem is the bare minimum. Based on your configuration, I can only recommend to analyze the clips one by one in a series mode to be on the save side. A lot of auxiliary data is created by the stabilization of the deformation and will delay at least a restart of the project. Straight forward advice would be to try to finish the project without having to restart it (as said previously, my hypothesis is that lack of memory is the culprit, but also the configuration of your drive to an external drive is not fast enough). Hey Harrison,

It is a known problem. The solution is to change the rendering engine of: Mercury Playback Engine software only in the project settings. We hope to have a fix soon. Moreover, what GPU do you have? What is the Iris Intel or something else.

  • Stabilizing warp out question

Since the update for Premiere Pro when I use stabilizing warp all that it generates is a small rectangle at the top with a small piece of footage inside. I tried tweaking the settings and always reset my preferences, but it comes out with the same result. It works when I use After Effects, but which can be quite annoying given the render time and which do not. What I'm doing wrong here? This is an image of the output.

  • Stabilizing warp - specifying the region to stabilize

I'm trying to stabilize some footage, but stabilizing Warp in first Pro CC seems to stabilize moving objects in the foreground rather than on the bottom, creating strange effects, as you can imagine.

I've seen tutorials on using stabilizer Warp in After Effects and masking the foreground for Warp stabilizing action use the background as its inputs. Is it possible to do this in Premiere Pro, or even something easier (that AE method seems complicated and some work to do).

    Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Keith,

There is currently no way to do within first (maybe there is a plugin?)...

The best way to do it is using after effects VFX stabilizing Warp. Sorry if you've already seen these, but others may find them useful.

  • Combining the stabilizing Warp and the duration of the Clip

I don't know there are several ways to do this, but wondering how to combine the stabilizing time Warp and Clip. They cannot be superimposed on the same clip. What is a good workflow to "Flatten" using a term from photoshop, a clip once I applied the stabilizer of the chain, if I can then change the duration of the clip?  Thank you.

I would like to add the string, the clip of nesting (flatten) and add the speed change to the nest.

  • Stabilizing warp CS6 scales down to the last image

    Hey,.

Whenever I have add the Warp in Premiere Pro CS6 stabilizer, it auto-echelles of sequences, with the exception of the last image. It changes just to 100% once again, so I'll have to cut. Others affected by this problem, or of the ways to solve it?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: turns out it's probably not the stabilizer of the chain, but the position. When I set the position, the same thing happens, and as the stabilizer changes the position, the position will probably cause the problem. Key frames is disabled.

Come discover something new, which makes it even more strange.

The last shot of the clip using the effects on the other. I have classified the next clip completely red, just to check. And the last frame of the previous clip flushed as well. In addition, when a clip is not stabilized, it will say: 'click Anylize', with the exception of the last image.

It seems to me that, instead of problems with the last image, it is probably the first frame of the next clip which is missing. So what is happening: the previous clip using the effects applied to the next item. I never came across something like this.

    Edit

    RESOLVED:

Somehow, on each unique clip, the creation of keyframes for opacity is enabled. But there is no keyframes, and it is always 100%. When I change the value and go up 100%, the missing frame returns.

  • Stabilizing warp for large sections of the video?

    Greetings,

I have a fairly strong rig edition with 24gig memory but with CS5, I used yet that selectively stabilizer warp in After Effects to clips, I just edit in Premiere Pro.  I suppose both because of the relationship and make the hassle involved time and benefits vs.  In short, I used when I had to and it worked normally.

With having integrated in CS6 Premiere Pro now, I was wondering how the performance was and if it was feasible to use on longer segments of rods.  I am the older camcorder footage editing that are rather fragile.  Could I take a 20 or 30-minute chunk and you wait to correct and return within a reasonable time?  Is there no matter what ballpark estimate of the stabilizing footage vs time warp analysis and end time?

I can't wait to use what I've upgraded to CS6 but don't want to wait too long.

    Thank you

  • Stabilizing warp not translated into XML - is there a solution?

    Dear people,

I want to export XML so that my color Checker can work on my project in DaVinci Resolve. When I export, although deformation of first stabilizing effect is not translated. Is there a solution to this problem? I tried to make stabilized to DNxHD clips and then export XML but that does not solve the problem. Any suggestions? (ditto for the dissolution of the film first - translated not and therefore replaced by cross dissolve when exporting XML)

    See you soon,.

    Hello

Unfortunately, there is no solution to this. The best is to first edit and export XML, quality color it and then apply effects in Premiere Pro. Sorry for the inconvinience.

  • Stabilizing Warp 4K for HD - PPcs6 interpolate first then reduce when using "stabilize, crop, autoscale?

I use CS6. I warp stabilized my 4K images and want to output HD best quality that I can. I have two choices: I can have either stabilizer warp 'stabilize, autoscaling of cultures' then I simply visited HD or I can put 'stabilize, cultures' and get rid of the black border (harvest) with SOUL in the export settings. So my question is: if I use the option 1 PP interpolate the images and then to "reduce" HD, thus reducing quality? Or PP done do all the calculations "at once" so the image is not actually interpolated then reduced? I hope that I have explained this clearly - though I don't mind :-) Thank you for your comments. Paul

I did experience exactly the same thing.  My conclusion is that stabilize, crop, auto scale indeed crop the video first and then resize to the resolution of original frame. So, there is a lack of quality.  I work on 4K video and warp stabilize first (no culture, no automatic scale), then cropping as a sequence of nested HD (with a key-frame to follow the action).  Depending on the amount of harvest, which is the video content, and because you start with 4 K images first, one wonders if the HD final rendered output is visually different whatever method that you choose.  I guess you know only by trial and error.

  • When will it be reactivated with Iris Pro GPU OpenCL support stabilizing Warp?

It seems clear, from my personal experience and many others on the Board, that stabilizer Warp is broken if:

    (1) you have a Macbook Pro retina with only included Intel Pro (no additional Nvidia card) Iris Graphics

    and

    (2) that you have enabled hardware acceleration OpenCL.

Fortunately, the passage in software mode is a workaround. But when this be repaired? Also, is there a better solution than disabling hardware acceleration?

I also want to say how happy I am in my (albeit briefly) experiences with the new version. Saves more fast, faster project loads, more stability - so far, at least.

Sorry, due to legal issues, we cannot comment on when specific fixes will be available in the future.

With your computer? I don't believe it.

I'm glad to hear it. Try to avoid the older project update to the new version. This is the only warning I would give.

  • Problem with follow-up of points in the stabilizing Warp VFX

Hi, I'm working on a few sequences in Warp stabilizer of the AE (CC 2014). The effect has the ability to 'See' the track Points so that the track points can be deleted manually, which tells the effect doesn't not watching of moving objects in the image when stabilization. It is a bit laborious, but I find it useful with the specific film I'm working on. However, all by selecting and deleting track of points I sometimes find all my points tracking become invisible - no doubt I accidentally clicking on something that I don't want, but unfortunately I can not understand how to make visible again. The box "Display of track points" is checked, but I see no action items. Someone at - it ideas why this is happening and what I need to do?

The track points are just visible as long as you have the effect selected in the timeline panel.

  • Stabilizing warp analysis too.

I have a composition that is 10 seconds with a video clip. I added stabilizer deform and shouldn't it analyze just 3000 frames? It seems to be to analyze the entire clip even thought that the model is only 10 seconds.

Make sure that you set the points and exit for your video layer.

If for any reason any that crashes, precompose the video layer and chain stabilize the demo.

Here's another clue, after stabilization to distort your shot MAKING to what I like to call a DI (digital intermediate) and others call a codec of the production and use it in the rest of your production. You'll be much better off in the long term, unless your project is extremely simple. A DI is a digital copy without loss of your original images to be used in the production pipeline for the preparation of the digital master final where return you your deliverables digital such as H.264 files for almost every digital form for delivery today.

  • Stabilizing warp count a lot more images than actually exists...

    Hello, everyone!

I just installed first CC 2014 and I have problems with the stabilizer deform... I'm trying to use it in the clip with 25s and 24 frames per second, but when I click on "Analyze" it shows 1035764 images! In addition, it will take 2560 minutes to analyze all this! Do the math, it should have only something like 600 executives and take a lot less time...

I know this stabilizer is very buggy, but I couldn't find a solution for this. Can someone help me?

    Thanks in advance!

Well well, for some reason any randomly, if I replace each file for itself the bug go away, I had to do this one by one. If anyone has the same problem, try to do this.

This action solves the problem for now, but it took time to discover and solve. Hopefully this won't happen again.

  • Computer using only 50% of the CPU memory and 124%

So when I'm doing intensive tasks (that's to say working in first and then simultaneously connecting clips to compositions of AE and work on them) seemed to me recently to hit massive roadblocks. So ive been editing a project for the last 2 weeks with silky ease. Render times were really low and I was doing enough after things heavy effects. Now all of a sudden in order to export a clip that took me like 1 or 2 mintues before takes like 10 minutes and my computer says that 124% of my cpu is used, and only 10 GB / 32 GB is used. When I RAM preview the same thing. How can I get my memory to be used at 100%? Why the body/AE is now tend to be so slow. Is there something wrong with the program or my PC? How can I optimize those programs so no foreign interference performance?

Thanks and any help would be really appreciated.

There is no way to AE or Premiere Pro use 100% of 100% of the time resources. No programs are built this way. You must ensure that you do not die of hunger for other applications of CPU power or memory. I saw so many screenshots of the AE memory settings where people thought they were doing a good thing when they drove their memory allocation in AE so they don't leave enough background apps to function effectively. Think in multiples of 4 GB of memory. If you are running an earlier version of AE, which allows you to assign a CPU to ensure that there is at least a pair assigned to other apps and that AE will use anyone who is left.

Usually if you follow the recommendations of Adobe (Optimizing after effects of performance - Support Adobe) you will do quite well. Choose the good readers of storage, don't fill them past 80%, close all applications that are not necessary for your work and to organize your projects and the workflow in an effective way, then you're not made things twice or construction projects that would make in much less time if you made and replaced complex effects rather than rely on dynamic links or nested comps for all. You should also understand what kind of success your source footage is added to the project. Highly compressed source files (especially mpeg video) can easily take 3 or 4 times more time to decode as a format of good production. Stabilized warp clips must be rendered, clips that have temporal as mixing time, interpolation effects and other effects of time based will probably benefit PreRender before you apply other effects and make you save a lot of time in the long run. I can't give you a list, you need to know some things on your own and you need to know when the render time of 4 images per second is a good time rendering and when 5 minutes per image is also a good. As gain you experience, you will get a handle on it.
