Receive duplicate emails.

I use Windows Mail. Recently, I did a tour and need to access my e-mail through the server of my ISP. They have me remove my password in the Windows mail program (in the "servers" tab) to keep my mail on their server. Now that I'm home, I entered my password, but now I'm getting duplicates of every email that I receive. I talked to my ISP - they said that it is a problem of Windows Messaging. How to avoid e-mail duplicate?

You are the OP with a different display name? What mail client do you use?

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck analysis when the option is the result of e-mail messages.

We recently had Comcast to att uverse & changed our settings in outlook express but now receive duplicate e-mail messages.  I have leave copy on the server checked so that we can access our messages from multiple computers, do not know if there is anything else that needs to be changed to avoid this problem.

Pretty much confirms that it is outside interference. You have McAfee on both machines? Close all programs and temporarily disable McAfee on both machines. Send a short test message now.

Norton and McAfee are two of the worst programs to use with Windows e-mail clients. They cause conflicts and must be removed in favour of a less intrusive program like NOD32, (not free), Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials, (both free). I use MSE on all my machines and it works fine.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, receive duplicate emails

My boss received a copy of every email sent to her.

The BB has a single e-mail account - company that she uses on our Exchange Server - and the BlackBerry Manager software on our Exchange Server lists only him once.

What could cause to pick up emails in double like that? Its user profiles are not, to my knowledge, duplicated anywhere to cause this.

-Well 2nd e-mail can come only through BIS (blackberry internet services) and if you deleted it on the "e-mail setup" icon there are no average 2nd E-mail will come on the device.

-Log in the website of the BIS from your PC if you know the user name and pw for BIS account and delete the e-mail from there as well and on BB under Options-advanced options-service book; remove entries from service book two under the name "[email protected]".

I have a user who uses Adobe Acrobat Pro.  She tries to use "Fill & Sign.  She clicks on 'FIll & Sign' then 'Send or collect Signatures' then 'get others to sign.  The PDF email signature.  However, the addressee and the sender receive 2 emails for each application for signature (one immediately after the other).  I have ried this on my computer with a file and do not receive duplicate emails.  Is there a setting that she should check?  Any help would be appreciated (especially since I can't call Adobe because they do not respond, and the chat for a matter of EchoSign option isn't available).  Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Recieving duplicate emails, please help!

    Hey,.

I thought I found how to solve this problem, but I do not think!

I had a BlackBerry "BOLD" (never locked) as a gift during a stay in the UNITED Arab Emirates. I recorded for their services and set up my email by phone account (prohibits the company, its never locked).

I came back to the Canada and subscribed to the services of BB with my ISP (Rogers). I had deleted the email from my phone and added it but now I seem to get duplicates of all my messages from my Gmail account!

Based on what I've read online, apparently my PIN needs to be released or something, but how to fix this? I hate having to receive 2 emails all the time, it's boring.

Help, please. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I would like to add that even when I delete my email through setting up account, I still receive emails on my Blackberry (and a single email). It seems that it is interconnected with my blackberry. How can I get rid of this?

  • I received two emails telling me that I had bought something in an application (which I did not), but I think that isn't Apple, even though it says it is. I did not get all of the details, what do I do next?

Today, I received two emails claiming that I had bought something in an application but I do not have the app it says that I had bought something from. I didn't go the details because I firmly believe that email is a scam, because the email is not legitimate. What should I do next?

Hi boltjumper, just delete the emails and report it to Apple.

  • I received an email from my address, but not send it.

I received an email from my email address, and the text was a phishing scam. I have not clicked on anything in the message. I ran my security software and found no problem. I'd do anything else? Thank you for your help.

It is not uncommon for messages of spam and phishing to have a fake sender name and address because if you're spamming, you will not use your real information. The idea behind using your name and address as the sender, it's that you're not likely to block you.

Of course, it is always prudent to consider whether someone might have actually gained access to your e-mail account, consider changing your password, but usually it's just a case of falsification of documents.

  • HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY EMAIL FROM FIREFOX INSTEAD OF SEAMONKEY

I've been using SeaMonkey to receive / send emails on my Windows XP desktop computer for many years. Recently, he refuses to download my emails to the Inbox with an error message "there is not enough disk space to download new messages. Try to delete old messages, empty the trash and compacting of your e-mail folders, and then try again. "I checked my Inbox folder and nothing in the Inbox, compression does nothing, have restarted, etc.

Can I change the base of Mozilla FireFox to receive / send emails, now that I've downloaded FireFox? If so, how do I, I do not see any mail or focus groups or anyway to set up my email on FireFox?

    Thank you
    Bill Skye

SeaMonkey is a continuation of things like web browser, customer of email, irc.

Firefox is a web browser as the e-mail is only a web browser can be told by one of the ton of webmail sites out there.

Thunderbird is the equivalent email client and is a product of the community as SeaMonkey.

If you need help with SeaMonkey, then there is a section of SeaMonkey to http://forums.mozillaZine.org

  • all emails to a contact rebounded last week. He wants to receive my emails.

Since last weekend, all the e-mails to one of my friends have bounced back for me. We sent e-mails back for years. I talked to him and he wants to continue to receive my emails. It is not on his side. I sent an email this evening for him on the site of my internet provider and it seems as if she's been through. But the e-mails from my computer tonight rebounded. I can't wait to use the Web site.
All other contacts will receive my emails without problem.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Two completely different servers. There is no comparison between the use of webmail and sent via a SMTP server. Your IP address or your provider is put to the index for spam according to the notice of rejection. Follow the steps in the link of difficulty or live with it. No one here can help you.

  • Received an email from Mozilla request for money is a scam?

You are running a campaign to ensure that we cooperate with money... I received 2 emails asking me to donate to "FIREFOX + u" is this a real request or a SCAM, I used your product for years and I think it will just cooperate, but now a day you don't know what is real or a scam... Please let me know if you really run a campaign to collect money... Thank you

At this point of time, Mozilla is asking for donations. I don't think that the email is a scam, but if you want to be sure, you can go to

It will be safe. Have a great day!

  • Every time there is an update of Firefox, I lose the ability to send a / or receive my email in Thunderbird.

Whenever there is a major update of Mozilla (Foxfire?) something goes wrong with my Thunderbird e-mail account. This time I am not able to receive my email, although it seems that I can send it. I am able to see it on the server of the ISP, so it's something with Thunderbird. I looked and didn't see anything. Help - this is a pain!

Have you thought that it might be your anti virus and not
    Thunderbird at all?

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:

    • Restart Thunderbird with disabled modules (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click "restart with disabled modules. If Thunderbird works as usual, there is an add-on or theme interfere with normal operations. You will need to reactivate the modules one at a time until you locate the offender.
    • Restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX
If the safe mode for the operating system to resolve the problem, there are other software on your computer that is causing problems. The possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as updates of the program.
