Receiver "device memory is low" despite having enough free ram

Hello

I develop a blackberry application using a browserfield and a business logic based on java. I just gave birth to a new thread that connects to Memory.getRAMStats () .getFree () every 2 seconds.

Tests on the Simulator, everything works well, test on a Torch 9800, I just got a warning low memory while the output of my diary shows that at the same moment, the available memory was: bytes 89824400.

It's more than enough in my opinion, what should I do?

For me, 89 MB free sounds not too unreasonable for a cautionary spawn. Have you checked to see if the program you have memory leaks? Perhaps the garbage collector cannot erase the memory, the system needs until your application is closed. Do you know how your application uses the RAM? In my understanding of the garbage collector, he'll try and make a call to clear the memory while the system has reached a dangerous level of free memory. So that leads me to believe that you might have some special memory leaks unless this problem is caused by some type of framework bug.

    Hello

Unless you are an experienced user, you should allow Windows to manage this setting for you. Your problem may occur if the default settings have been changed somehow. First to diagnose your problem, you must follow these steps to ensure that Windows runs properly your virtual memory settings.

    1. find out how virtual memory is managed. Right click on 'My Computer' and choose 'properties '. Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance click settings.
    2. which opens your performance Options. Click the Advanced tab. For private users 'typical' Processor Scheduling & Memory use must be set to "programs".
    3. under virtual memory, click change.
    4. which opens the virtual memory options. If you have more than one hard drive, make sure that your primary hard drive is selected under "Drive".
    5. under "Paging File Size for selected device" check the box indicating the size of the managed system.
    6. click OK in all the 3 boxes to close off these settings and restart your computer

Now that I have my new memory card in my phone, is there a way I can transfer my photos that I saved in my device memory on my memory card using my phone instead of having to use my computer to do?

    Hello

How many pictures do you have?

It may be better to go outside (it's very nice here, pop a top) and yourself by e-mail of the photo.

Highlight the photo, touch menu, send, receive, record button the map of bracket.

If you hang with her more power for you, for me moving to one at a time is root.

You can also just send to your PC. Then use MY computer to reload the media card.

    Bifocals

You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:

    Card support ON

    NONE encryption mode

(Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

    Hello

Microsoft says that this error message especially if two or more devices have been attributed, ports of entry/exit (e/s), the same interrupt, or the same Direct access channel in memory. The assignment was made by the basic input/output system (BIOS), the operating system, or a combination of both.
This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources for the device.

To resolve this problem, you should go to Device Manager and should remove/uninstall the graphics card from the list of devices.
Then, you should reboot the device and need to reinstall the driver of compatible graphics card.

PS: Take a look at the BIOS. If a newer version is available and then try to update.

  • Printers Multifunction LaserJet Pro 200 m276nw: memory is low. Job cancelled

    Hello

    I'm new to the forum.

I have a problem with my Laserjet Pro 200 with a message "memory is low. Cancelled work. »

I read the other posts with similar questions and tried to do a hard reset to turn on him for 30 second and turning point. The message always appears.

I tried to update the firmware, but the printer says that no updates are.

I use a Mac Mini running on 10.9.5 software. I tried to update the firmware via USB, what has not worked at all.

How can I access the memory of the printer and clear the whole print or add memory to the printer?

    I need help!

    Hi @Med_Stud10 ,

I read your post and see that you have found an "Out of memory" error when you try to print. I will definitely do my best to help you.

Check the name of the driver that is installed by the printer. Make sure that it shows just the name of the printer.
Click on the Apple menu, click System Preferences. Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen it should show the name of the printer. (Laserjet M276)

If the full name of the printer is not correctly, delete and add the printer name back from the list. Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver, you may need to click the drop-down list to select the printer name to add it in.

    Try to print again.

I've provided the steps to set up the printer via the IP Protocol, if the problem persists, which regulated the other 'Out of memory' errors

Print a Configuration page to get the IP address of the printer. M276n of MFP HP LaserJet Pro 200 color and M276nw MFP - print a Configuration report.

Remove the printer in printers and Scanners.
Click on the + button, select the IP Protocol on top, type the address IPv4 of the printer, select Jet Direct below and then apply.

    Try to print again.

For the analysis, however, you can select the printer Hello.

If you're still having problems, try the reset I will send you a private message.
In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

Please let me know the results.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

"Deleting" a file does not actually delete it marks just the space
also available to be used. There are third-party programs that can
sometimes recover deleted files. The problem is that the space used by
the file is likely to be replaced very quickly, and it makes
    the unrecoverable file.

So your chances of successfully recover this file are decent if you
Try it again immediately after the deletion of it and go quickly
downhill from there if you write other files on the device.

But if the file is large enough, it's still worth a try. Stop
written on the memory stick immediately, if you did not
already. Download an undelete program (and here's one:)

  • I have a message saying "windows virtual memory is low"

I'm using windows xp (32) bits and a message keeps coming up saying "Windows virtual memory is low" what can I do about it please can someone tell me? ".

If you mean that you see a message like this:

Virtual memory minimum too low: your system is low on virtual memory.  Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file.

This means that Windows XP is to let you know that he does his work.  The message is not an error message - this is an informational message.

If XP thinks that the size of the swap file (usually c:\pagefile.sys) is too small to accommodate your day-to-day transactions, it will adjust the paging file to expand the pagefile and display this message as it does.  It is not necessarily a 'problem', but the message is boring.

Sometimes, the message indicates someone was tampering with the XP of the paging file settings to try to solve another problem that usually has nothing to do with their paging file and resolve things inefficiently.

This could mean that the settings have been adjusted for certain values that don't make sense for the configuration of the system.  Unless we know the system better, you can't just pick certain values out of the air and that your system behaves effectively.  You might not see the message again, but this does not mean that the settings are correct.

This could mean that the settings have never been properly in the first place when you first install of XP and things must be properly configured.

Sometimes, as your system configuration changes over time and other applications are running and get bigger, you may add additional RAM to your system to accommodate things (or run the number of requests).

At least that learn you more about managing memory than Windows XP, it is usually best to simply let XP manage the size of your virtual memory paging file.

To see what your current, make settings right click post work, properties, advanced, performance settings, Advanced tab, virtual memory, and then click the button change.

Make a note of the current settings in case you need to change their return more later.

The best setting for the size of swap file is usually going to be:

    System managed size

Right click my computer, properties, Advanced tab, Performance... Settings, Advanced tab, virtual memory... Change.

Note the current setting, so you can change things later if you have a problem.

If it is already done, on the size of swap file:

    System managed size

Don't forget to click on Set (to be defined), OK (several times) and then restart your computer.

Windows XP will attempt to affect a swap file approximately 1.5 times the total amount of RAM installed on your system.  To manage the size of paging file Windows XP is enough for most configurations.

If your system is not set to the size of the managed system, you must determine how it changed and why (usually a bad reason), make a note of the current settings to change them back later if necessary, and then change the setting to the size of the managed system, click on the Set button and then click on apply to apply the changes (you will be asked to restart).

"Because someone told me to" is not a good reason to start making adjustments to the size of pagefile.  Setting just above to enlarge it by an arbitrary value can ease the symptoms of the problem and stop message, but may not result in the best configuration for your system.

All the advice to 'Increase the value of the initial and maximum size to a higher value' are misinformed ideas that come from not knowing how to work XP - How do you increase it and what happens if you increase too?

If you want your system to operate as efficiently as possible, you must understand what is happening and fix it properly and not only begin to try things or make some arbitrary adjustments.

The size of the pagefile can really need adjustment, but you should at least try to know what you're doing and why you need to do.  It is unlikely that anyone can tell you how to adjust your settings properly without more information.

If you don't know what are the best settings, or if you are not sure what should be your settings and need help looking at your stuff, follow these steps:

Since the implementation of the Microsoft Answers forum does not ask for any kind of information system when a new question is asked, we know absolutely nothing about your system.  Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click OK, and when the system info summary appears, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and what appears to be personal information for you, simply delete the personal information of the pasted information.

    Hi KevinBC,

I understand that you have a LaserJet Pro 200 M276nw MFP color tells you memory is low when you try to print a PDF document. I will certainly do my best to help you!

In researching this issue, it seems that power cycling the printer should be able to solve this problem for you, because it indicates the printer memory becomes full and a power cycle this will clear for you. Please take a look at this "Low memory" and do not print publish by @AuntieEm on HP forums.

I would like to know how it goes!
