I'm trying to run my usb gps receiver BU - 353 V1.03 on windows 8.  Get a "com port error.  Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the software; with receiver inserted / or not and troubleshooting, but all without success.  Any other suggestions please?

Thank you

Are you a number after the COM port error

Try connecting to a different usb port

Go to control panel > hardware and sound > devices and printers, if you see your device, right click and solve problems.

In Device Manager you will see a yellow exclamation point or a triangle next to the COM port.

  • Windows 7 USB GPS acknowledged as a mouse series in Windows 7

    * original title - Windows 7 + GPS USB becomes new serial bad = mouse *.

I know this has been asked several times here and a solution must appear, but he's been a while since the last time it was published, I thought I'd see if progress has been made.

Problem: Plug a USB GPS or a GPS serial number connected through a serial number-> USB adapter causes Windows 7 bad recognize the device as a mouse series, and given that the data stream is rapid, mounse pointer starts jumping all over the screen.  In XP, disconnect the GPS temporarily left behind the mouse series in Device Manager, and turn it off it would then the system be reused.

Unfortunately, in Windows 7 when GPS is off the system immediately removes the device from the Device Manager.

In addition, he had released Microsoft tools to combat this problem on the front end server have not been released for Windows 7.

So we have the choice, continue to organize the deployment of the laptop, or return to the deployment of them with XP.  None of these options is ideal.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I have successfully installed the small 'Inteli-mouse' (microsoft mobile 6000 wireless mouse) by using the center of update online that I was sent to when I inserted the installation CD. It's not important, I wondered? Thank you, KC973

    Hi KC973,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

You will not be able to add a wireless keyboard to a 'double Receiver USB' for a wireless mouse. To use the wireless keyboard, you can use the receiver that came with the key board and the receiver double USB mouse will not recognize the wireless keyboard.

  • 27 - k350xt (J6S80AV): wireless receiver USB for mouse and keyboard included

The online manual for my PC notes (page 65) there is a possibility to use USB in the back of the stand. When I turn on the PC it's side to watch, I don't seem to see a.

Where is the one at the bottom of the stand? It's behind one of the stickers? I have the warranty will be void if one or more of the stickers are removed to access? Or... If I buy a new mouse with a USB dongle wireless, can I use only the mouse and re-pair to the receiver connecting? I don't want to take another USB port for just a mouse.

    Thank you

    Hello @TeeDubya,

    Thanks for the quick response!

I took a glance at the situation for you.  The manual seems to indicate that there are only installed USB key that will pair the keyboard and mouse.  However, according to your specifications, there are only 4 USB ports on the appliance.  So as you say, it seems to be an internal Communicator.  I don't think that you can connect a different external device for the Communicator, as most of the Bluetooth devices come with something, you can use to connect to the desktop or laptop computer.  If there is such an option, it should be located in the control panel.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards!

I would like two different wireless mouse to use the same USB nano-receiver. I have a wireless mouse Lenovo N30 I use when I travel and am interested in buying another mouse wireless Lenovo (N3903A) for use at my office. Does anyone know that both mice will work with the same nano receiver that accompanies the N30? Thanks in advance!

No, they will not work on the same nano.

What wireless keyboard compatible with the usb NANO-receiver provided with the Mobile Mouse 4000? I already have Mobile Mouse 4000 and I now want to get a keyboard for which I don't have to plug another usb receiver. I have more usb ports.

They don't work that way.  Each receiver has one of a number of frequencies assigned, and the receiver and the device have pair codes that make them unique.  Otherwise, you'd have the problem of a keyboard or a mouse, controlling all the computers with the same brand of mouse or keyboard in an entire room, office, etc.

The K520 seems to use unique from Logitech Unifying receiver and Microsoft has their own receiver technology.

  • Venue 8 GPS Pro?

I see that the meeting place 8 Pro has an accelerometer, but no GPS is mentioned.  Even small smart phones have GPS.  Did the material present in the device, but not used by Dell?  I suspect that the material is there, as with HDMI, where the capacity is there at the hardware level, but Dell used it to this unit.  Bad luck.

There is no hardware present GPS, in and of itself, but there are what we call 'aGPS."the IP of your computer address aGPS uses closer to where you are, but only with a precision of about two miles. Your best bet is to get a real GPS receiver using Bluetooth (for example, GlobalSat BT - 368i Bluetooth GPS receiver) or USB (for example, GlobalSat ND-100 USB GPS receiver).

  • HP 5219urf (RX1): HP wireless receiver 5219urf (RX1) - several mouse compatibility?

    Gentlemen.

I just got an old wireless keyboard of HP 5219urf and 5219urf from Receiver USB (RX1) to a thrift store and I have a few questions.

Is there any other wireless mouse that can work with this receiver outside the M97iu (M1) original unit delivered with the keyboard? I don't have the mouse and it would be certainly a comvenience if other mouse HP, or same mouse Logitec or Microsoft may work with this receiver.

Are there drivers that need to be obtained? Guide to the user for this set - up does not mention the installation of all the drivers so I'm thinking that the receiver is plug ' n play for HP computers. I'm planning to use these devices with a HP Pavilion a1777c under Vista Home Premium desktop computer.

    Thanks for your interest!

    @GHagen, welcome to the forum.

Mice are configured to work with a single receiver.  Therefore, it would strictly be luck if you found one that would work.  There could be such a thing that the codes are repeated each mouse as much.  Who knows.  I lost the receiver to my Microsoft mouse and I have one exactly like it, but the receiver will not work.

With respect to the software and drivers for the keyboard, I plug it into the computer and run updates HP to see what he finds.  In addition, you can go to Device Manager / keyboards / right-click on your keyboard / select Update driver software / search automatically for updated driver software.  There is a driver available it will download and install it.

What operating system do you use?
Have you checked for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager?
If you connect USB devices to the normal USB port it works?

I would recommend a chipset driver. It's worth a try, and you can download it here:
