ReceiverThreads JMS connector in 10.1.3.3 layout to improve performance?

Gurus,

I use nonBlockingInvoke = true property in bpel.xml to spawn a thread for each parallel flow activity.

However, the definition of this property I found success in performance. I suspect that the parameter of ReceiverThreads to be the question JMS connector. If ReceiverThreads more could hear in the queue, you can improve performance. (Page 47 of the 10.1.3.1. Performance Document).

But I'm not able to locate this property in orion-ejb - jar.Xml. This property holds a different file or this property needs to be added (please can you provide the exact code)?

Thanks a ton!
SP

You can find the documentation of ReceiverThreads here:
http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B32110_01/Web.1013/b28958/JMS.htm
(Table 4 - 11).
There is above the table of examples that show how to add a property.
(A property can be added to orion-ejb-jar. XML or ejb - jar. Good XML if you set the property via a file .xml orion-ejb - jar.xml is recommended because it is a specific OC4J parameter).

Alternatively, you can set via the annotation. See here:

  • The strange history of the Flash SSD

My SSD keeps disappearing, and I don't know why.

This is the question, here is the context.

I have a mid-2011 iMAC that has notoriously slow HD by default.  More than a year ago, I've added an SSD and created a Fusion drive what improved performance 10 fold.  I have not had any problems with this Setup until recently when the SSD is dead.

So I got an another SSD, popped my iMAC opened and succeeded him.  Until I put it in I tested it under OSX and Windows to do that all the good-looking.  This is what the SSD disappears without good reason, which means his fatal to the Fusion drive configuration.  It seems to disappear when there is intense activity in the car (like the reinstallation of the operating system, restore from a time Machine or do a deep analysis/verification with a tool like DriveDX) or when the computer is idle for long periods of time.  But it could be a coincidence - it's just the model only I noticed.  Reboot usually brings the SSD back (9 of 10 events, he did it anyway).

Before I crack it open again - something I really want to do -I was wondering if there is something that may be at fault in the OS level (or anything else I can try) before resorting to opening it.  To me it looks like a connection problem - maybe the power connector is not stuck in properly.  Here are a few newspapers/screenshots:

  • Upgrade the hard drive in the Libretto U100 to SSD drive

Anyone who undertakes an upgrade of the hard drive in a Libretto U100 to a SSD? This would surely greatly improve performance. What size is the hard drive in the U100 and which connector is used to connect the drive? Can anyone tell if this mod is possible?

    Spymaster

So, I have a machine with an SSD (Tecra M5) and it works like a charm. Unfortunately, the discs are too expensive at the moment but you can benefit from a real performance.

Regarding your question: should be possible. You have a 1.8 inch drive "installed and there are SSDS which have almost the same form factor. Usually the U100 was delivered with MK6006GAH or MK3006GAL disks.

Here´s a site that might help, given that the reader has the same connector as the disc in your computer: http://www.dvnation.com/microatapics.html

other pilots who were missing I had downloaded their drivers from the manufacture and they are all corrected accept this driver... I bekieve this is a realtek driver, that I went to the site and their latest driver did not help...

    Hello

The laptop seems to be released for the Australian market.
I found the drivers Win 8.1 on the Australian Toshiba driver page, but only pilots of Windows 8.

However, it seems that the sound card was made by Realtek and Realtek HD audio Manager must be installed.

    Try this driver which was published on the page of the Toshiba UE driver for similar laptops models: [Realtek Semiconductor Corporation v 6.0.1.7023 8.1 - 64 Bit Windows | http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 178 & selProduct = 7948 & selSh ortMod = null & language = 13 & selOS = 46 & selType = all & yearu pload = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = a llMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = al l & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = all & page = 2 & ID = 88586 & OSI D = 46 &] driverLanguage = 42]

In general I recommend you to download and install drivers 64-bit Windows 8.1 to address common since the driver Toshiba UE page because these drivers are missing on the Australian rider Web site.

Recommends that you install the Intel and nVidia driver chipset driver because the HD audio can be linked to the chip nVidia graphics too.

  • Upgrade SSD or hybrid to my T510

    Hi all

I am considering upgrading my hard drive to my old T510 to 2 years since my original 300 GB drive fills

I am considering getting an ssd or a Seagate hybrid drive, but I'm not sure.

I want a faster startup time and improved performance. Right now it takes more than a minute to boot the system and sometimes seconds to load a large multimedia site. However, I also need big storage because I need a windows and linux dual system and a little store a few movies and a lot of music in the laptop. Because I don't want to replace my DVD with a second hdd, I hesitate between the SSD and hybrid.

I was wondering if any of you have tried the hybrid drive on Thinkpad. How does perform? And anyone who tries it with a dual system? I'm a little worried the dual-boot will mess up with the ssd 6 GB limited is part of the hybrid drive, since it is so little space for both systems and management becomes much more complicated with two totally different file system.

Also if I would go with an ssd, any recommendations? I looked at Samsung 830, Intel 520 and Crucial m4, all are good, but the problems that they are all SATA III, while my T510 support only SATA II. A bit of waste. But all the SATA II ssd seems just outdated and with older technology.

    Thanks a lot guys!

Yes... need you the ThinkPad Serial ATA Hard Drive Bay adapter III.

The reference is 43N3412 detailed here. More information about the adapter here (PS: photo shows one IDE connector that is false.) Someone needs to update this image).

The Bay adapter is hot in that you can safely remove the material at any time & eject your T510 adapter using the physical button under the chassis. I like the provision of better eject buttons on the first series of T.

  • Contact a Subvi in a secondary

    Hello

I'm creating an application in which I have a main program running under three - VI with their visible facades in sub-panels on the main program.

I want the main program to be able to send data to the Subvi for initiation settings where each message to each Subvi would be different and a common stop etc.  (it will be a group of initialization parameters and a stop ctl Boolean)

I don't know it's probably subjective, however what is the 'best' way to transfer this data to or from a Subvi, lacking access to the connector pane?  I tried currently Global Variables and method of Ctrl Val.Set and do not know what are the benefits of a more than another's? Or is it a better overall solution - I've heard people speak of notifies on globals, but do not know how this could be implemented without the connector pane?

    Thanks for your time,

    Mark

I generally use the queues and the authors of notifications when dealing with the sub-panels.  You can get a reference to a queue or the notifier without using the connector pane by plugging in the name Terminal on the function get.  I sometimes destroy the queue to force an error in high school to get out by an error state.  controlValue.Set is good for the initial values of the parameters before the subpannel is executed and could be used for the infrequent control changes. Controlvalue.set access to the UI thread and is relatively slow compared to the transmission of the data via a queue or the notifier.  If several values at once uses the property "reporter Panel" updated (set to true during the changes) to significantly improve performance.

  • H9-1150 Pavilion: H9-1150 PC does not start with WIndows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with ASUS 960 GTX card.

I've seen others have posted simular questions, but I thought id repost this even in the case where there is more help.  I have the Elite Phönix Pavalion h9-1150 desktop with Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.  and the bios HP 7.07 (seems no possible to upgrade the bios).

As others have had I install the new graphics card, the 960 Asus GTX card that came out last month and the system start gives about 3 beeps in about 30 seconds and then it goes to a screen that is black with a blinking cursor and nothing else happens. cannot enter bios or settings for HP...

I tried to disable UEFI boot devices in bios settings and enable only the legacy devices (after him swinging back on my original card, then move on to the new card), but it still gives 3 beeps after the start.   However, I was able to get into windows. Although I think that this may be due to turn off the computer with the old card in without power first. and after 3 beeps (which always blocks you on the bios menu) sometimes it appears the window where you can select the safe mode or normal mode... as sometimes happens if you start your computer with windows 7 If you had just it off without turning off power or something.  There, I can get into windows and run the PC and graphics card without problem, it's just when I try to start the problem happens.

and suppor HP no. is NOT a fault of the card itself. As much before. I bought an EVGA card earlier a GTX 780 and SAME problem happened (although I have not tried to remove it then devices boot UEFI)...

There is a problem of spacific with HP computers that seem to lock 'new' start-up equipment.

Honestly not be blunted. I really think it's bad what I read somewhere that even if HP would never say it they do it on purpose to prevent people ruin of guarantee or any "liabity' that occur by people any other hardware on HP computers inventory installation

makes no since to me.  the PC SHOULD be able to run the card. in fact his race he now once I was able to circumvent the blocking (temporarily) check markers, everyhting is fine tracks of card 3 times faster then old (that should be the case).

But it's just this block as HP for some reason any installed on their bios/cards mothers is the question.

Good news is I got it from amazon and I have about a month, until I return. which I think this time I'll make.  to see if something pops up in a month or something.

It's the ONLY solution, it seems that HP has officially to deactivate start secure Windows 8

but this isn't a computer of windows 8. and I guess even if install windows 8. the issue wouldn't disappear because given that its an older bios, there is no way to have a secure boot option to delete?

HP you really need to get on the ball and give us a straight answer on this subject.  Is it ALL WAY to solve this problem? Can you not just do an older BIOS update to allow this? Or do you simply not want to worry about old PCs?

anyway I think that it is wrong and very frustrating and to be honest. If this is the case when my pc otherwise MUST run on demand

    It's a PCI express 16 x slot card that is 3.0

Here are the specifications of deetailed according to the guidelines of your page

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docid=c03273835

the card SHOULD WORK fine.  I thought the GTX 780 was a little too much for the PC as he had more then a six pin port and needed a little more power, so at first I thought it was the question. so I returned it. and has now got this new card.

However, the ASUS GTX 960 map requires the SAME power that the card GTX 550 it by default and the SAME SIX connector

    so it SHOULD work.

and performance tests indicate that it FACT it's just stupid... bios that asks the question.

I'm afraid to turn off the computer at the moment and try again to see if windows starts normally after you turn off the startup UEPI devvices because he cannot start properly...

HP you are one of the largest suppliers of computers you know technology what are YOUR computers.  WHY cant you give us a direct awnser on this.

    ITS VERY frustrating

and to be honest if I can't solve this problem, I am very hestient never buy another product HP if their spacifically computers have this new method of hardware locking.

because I have the card now works on my pc, it runs great! 3 times as fast as it should! and yet, I know in the back of my mind, if I can't understand this bad likely issue just to send it back... less I have time.

and for now, I did not have money to buy a new pc. This PC is JUST perfect for what I need for now another card then you want a little better...

He shoudnt be as much hassle there?

    Thank you.

    Hello

You need update the BIOS that is listed under Windows 8 to support the new graphics.   You must upgrade to Windows 8 or temporarily install Windows 8, you can install the update to the BIOS.  While there may be other ways to install the BIOS update, clearly having Windows 8 running will be the safest way.  8 BIOS version is your best chance to get the latest graphics cards to work.

You can Windows 8 Enterprise 90 days trial.

If you decide to install W8, then create external recovery HP Media and backup your data before doing anything.

The reality is that there is no guarantee that any particular graphics card will work in any particular PC, even if the graphics card works in other PC or even the same or similar model PCs. Know what the return policy is before you buy.

Note: Some of these old dell computers have only a drive Bay and the data cable is short and has only one connector for the hard drive. If this is the case and you plan to go XP disk a larger and faster hard you will need a USB external drive to store the backup Image file. Pull the old drive, use the emergency recovery CD to restore the new disk.

Also based on time, this model has been sold by Dell, the chances are very high that the biggest hard drive you can install is a disk of 120 GB PATA/IDE BIOS will not support 48-bit LBA (disks more 1237 GB in size).

  • Flash Cache - what is it?

Hi - I "m given to replace the HARD drive in 141na HP ENVy 17 and doing a little research before doing so. Some retailers say it has a SSD 8 GB and a 1 TB of HARD drive, while others do not.

    I've been looking at the specs on the HP site and it says it has a FLASH 8 GB CACHE and other research says this;

"Flash cache is temporary storage chip NAND flash memory to allow data of queries for the data to complete more quickly..." A flash cache is often used in tandem with the slower hard drives (HDD) to improve the access time to the data. The form factor of the NAND flash is typically a the solid state drive (SSD), a PCI Express (PCIe) card or a module DIMM- base flash device installed in connectors of the server memory. "

Does that mean that upgrading to an SSD will be have a limited effect (bearing in mind I've only will use to store the OS and a few programs like Photoshop top with all my work files on the 1 TB HARD drive or I am barking the wrong tree here.)

    All the advicde greatly appreciated.

    Chris

The NAND flash cache is actually built into the hard drive, I'm pretty sure. I can confirm that if you go into Device Manager and view the description of the hard disk device. That means that when you remove the drive hard drive will also remove you the "flash cache. While hard disks with flash cache mSATA WSSD accelrator cache disks / improve performance they ain't nothing like a pure SSD main drive. The cache flash and other similar arrangements can accelerate sustained as an SSD read/write operations.

  • Disc SSD C / W PC - 7 F - hard drive seems to stop while riding this last

I had a PC W-7 HP 64-bit on a black disk WDC.  It was nice, but I wanted to improve performance (I had already upgraded to 16 GB of RAM and the processor Intel is a non i5).  So I bought an SSD Intel wiped the WDC lifeguard, re-copied black on black of WDC data files and installed W - 7 on the SSD.  The two disks are installed via internal SATA 6.0 GB/s connectors.

Everything is much faster now.  Microsoft Updates just blaze in full.  Even the W - 7 four-color logo never has a chance to complete the rotation before the login screen appears.

There is only an oddity.  I expect the WDC Black to be recognized immediately.  If I look at computer after the startup, the SSD and black WDC are displayed correctly.  But if I double-click and then double-click on one of the folders, the system stops for a few seconds before displaying the contents of the folder.  The PC seems to be mounting.  Double-click on later are never slow down, only the first.

Is it possible to force Windows to recognize the WDC black during startup?

    Hello Baroque,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

SSDS are ideally faster and more reliable than traditional hard drives. Try to follow the suggestions below to expedite the black WDC on your computer.

How to speed up your slow computer

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2746761/en-us

However, you can also try adding black WDC to the Windows Search Index, which would help you to perform very fast searches on your computer.

You can see the following article for more information about basic indexing options.

Improve Windows searches using the index: frequently asked questions

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/improve-Windows-searches-using-index-FAQ#1TC=Windows-7

In addition, to change the indexing options in Windows 7, you can read the following article.

Come back and let us know the State of the question, we will be happy to help you. We, at tender Microsoft to excellence.

  • Cf11 IIS often slow 8.5

Recently installed CF11 on a 2012R2 of Windows Server running IIS 8.5. There are currently 9 sites configured in IIS, all under separate application pools.

Several times a day, for reasons that I have not yet determined, any request for CF pages under one of the sites returned very slowly (> 10 seconds). In general, they returned to < 500 Ms recycling the application pool (or pools) seems to solve this problem, which made me think that the problem was with IIS. However, requests for static resources of IIS sites same loading very well, so I suspect that this isn't strictly an IIS issue.

I applied the worker.properties changes and recommended by Anit server.xml pays in ColdFusion 11 IIS connector Tuning - Adobe ColdFusion Blog:

    • Worker.cfusion.max_reuse_connections = 250
    • Worker.cfusion.connection_pool_size = 2250 (9 * 250)
    • Worker.cfusion.connection_pool_timeout = 60
    • maxThreads = connectionTimeout '2250' = '60000' attributes to Server/Service/connector

I still see slow responsiveness several times a day. I'll continue to troubleshoot but I would like to tender hand to the community to get the ideas/troubleshooting tips.

After an analysis additional time delays occurred, it became clear that the majority of the events were between 19:00 and midnight, and the response times increased immediately at 19:00 a backup process running on another machine which began at 19:00 every day was copy of the data from the CIFS share containing the roots of the document of each site. The network interface is the bottleneck: because of the high volume of data transferred, the server was slow to respond to requests. One of my colleagues has added an additional NIC on the file server and the backup process uses the new network interface exclusively. We have noticed since no increase in the response time to 19:00

I think the spontaneous recovery and recovery due to the IIS app pool recycling, was probably due to regression to the mean-, I received Nagios alerts only when exceeding 10 seconds response time, after what the likely response time fell below 10 seconds. One thing that led me to believe that it was a problem of ColdFusion is that IIS has been able to deliver static assets (for example image files) during same downturns without perceptible delay. I don't know why this would be the case - maybe it was actually slower, as I have reference not active static response times (i.e. maybe static charge in 300 ms in the downturn rather than 100 ms in normal operation).

I can not say that it had nothing to do with IIS 8.5 and CF 11, to Carl type3adjustments proposed seem certainly to improve performance and reduce the number of warnings and alerts! Thanks for your help. The extra insight into the JVM will certainly be useful.

  • Performance of OPA problem

    Hello OPA Experts.

I built the OPA rules and mapping of Siebel IO for the calculation of the line item. OPA calculates the discount and upsert discount for Siebel. during the tests for the 1000 items, it took 2 minutes to run the workflow OTB "Policy of automation evaluate IO", I added steps for upsert and map data. Here are the results:

1 step 'Load IO' has 7 seconds

    ' 2 ' call access IO "took 1 minute 2 seconds

I use the Tomcat server in my room for tests. Why it takes so long to get the response from OPA? How can I improve the performance, I can use IO searchSpec to send only the headings meet for calculation. But the user that the process all the 1000 posts on click of a button. Please let me know if we can improve performance or it's OOTB behavior. Thank you.

What version of OPA Siebel connector are you using? There are a few significant improvements between 10.4.2 and 10.4.4 preformance.

A few things to look at:

If you do a lot of relationships presumed or inferred from the entities that may be quite slow. For example, if every line item has a possible relationship alleged among 1000 other posts which will result in 1000 x 1000 assessments for membership.

Also, if you return the records of decision, they can be vary large, especially if there is one per line.

    See you soon

    Frank
