Recent items Remove the workspace

Hi all

Is it possible to delete a file from my recent articles on my home screen? I can't see an x or anything to anywhere. I love the new preview option give me a visual guide of what MRU to open, so I don't want to turn it off - it's a real time saver. But I have some files I want to get rid of the list. They were personal projects that I made a few smart changes to the office a lunch time. It is not question of huge, but it looks a bit unprofessional when I open Illustrator in front of my boss to look at our latest project creations, and 2 monkeys of cartoon with eyes loved to stare back at us!

If this is not possible at present, Adobe you must add it. Most of the other software with a similar overview/recent list (Office is a good example), offer the ability to remove an item.

This kind of thing is stored in preferences and the XML CC Library Sync, depending on where you stored your stuff really. For now, you have to trash the Info manually or open new files until he falls off the list.

  • Cannot open the HFM (grayed out menu items) in the workspace (weblogic\IIS)

    Hello

    Here is the configuration:

HFM on IIS on server1. Port 80

Planning on weblogic\IIS on server 2.

Workspace on weblogic\IIS on the Server 3. Port 80.

With this combination, I can see the menu items in the workspace of planning and can create an application. But the HFM as "Create app" menu items is gray and clicking on Sunrise an error that the module is not configured.

If I rerun the configuration utility on the server (Server 3) workspace and workspace on weblogic\Apache (changed between IIS and apache), to deploy the two planning and HFM are at my disposal and I can create HFM applications.

My client wants us to use IIS and also, we heard that support for Apache would be removed over time.

Any ideas on how I can use IIS on the server to the workspace and get HFM to work with her.
Another question is - can I change the port default HFM from 80 to something else while running the configuration tool for HFM.

    Thank you.

I'll fly my answer on this topic from a previous post.

It is useful to know what versions of the software on which you are working. I'll assume you're on the latest version.

If you use a separate web server and application server and that you are not Apache as web server, you need to deploy the system of financial management. Please read the installation manual 52 next page: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/epm_manual_deployment.pdf

Alternatively, you can deploy the Web of HFM components directly to the server of the workspace that can be a little easier to install.

Once you have chosen the direction chosen and made changes to the HFM, you will need to then to redeploy Workspace App Server and Configuration Web.

  • When I right click the tab recent items on the start menu, the option to clear recent does not appear.

When I right click on the RECENT ITEMS tab on the right on the display of the menu pane START, the option CLEAR the RECENT ITEMS LIST does not appear.

    How can I restore it?
original title: restoration CLEARLY the RECENT POSTS

    Hello

This occurs if the file desktop.ini in the recent folder is deleted.

    a. Click Start, type "% AppData%\Microsoft\Windows" and press {ENTER}

    b. right click on the folder named recent, then choose Delete. Click Yes when you are prompted.

    c. now, type the command "shell: recent" in the start - menu search box, and then press {ENTER}.

Note: The command above recreates the recent folder, as well as a new desktop.ini file and opens the file.

    d. disconnect and return connection. You should now see the context menu list of recent items clear when you right click on the recent items on the start menu folder.

  • "Recent items" from the Menu start is always empty in Win7

When I open recent items on the Start Menu, it is always empty.  If I right click on it and open in Solution Explorer, it is also empty... I REALLY miss this feature in XP!

Argh, I had only selected to add recent items on the Start Menu...  I now see the documents once I ticked the boxes.

    Thank you!
  • How can I get recent files (in the workspace start) working?

He never shows anything? It would be very convenient. Last Indesign CC on MacOSX El Capitan.

    Thanks in advance!

Start by restoring your preferences (which would remove the recent):

Garbage, replace, reset or restore the application's preferences

If you want the recent workspace, you must go to preferences > general and check "Show"Recent files"workspace... '. It is not enabled by default.

could someone help me with this?

You have configured the user with the roles of shared services of the creator of the Application, Dimension Editor

  • With regard to the previous discussion on the recent settings of the workspace page

With regard to the post Re: recent files page , when I went back to answer, there is no way to reply to the post.  After trying the settings using the provided screenshots, page of recent files always came every time.  So the answers you have provided are not correct for my particular case.  Finally, I tried without any control in the preferences and that my custom workspace save as I wanted.  Here is how I had to define it.

    Thank you.

It is doubly strange.  I just check and that the other thread is not locked and can be answered.  Someone else has a problem, you reply to this thread.

Secondly, I turn off the settings described works for me and Photoshop opens without MRU and start work space.

You did _uncheck_ these settings?  I like the new workspaces, so mine are checked, but it clearly says _Show_ at the beginning of each line.

  • Can I remove the 10.6 and bootcamp or windows still work with previous 10.11 installation?

I have an early 2009 mac mini, 10.6 installed bootcamp at the same time on the hard drive. Have windows 7 installed on bootcamp.

Recently, I removed the CD - RW drive and put in an SSD. I then installed 10.11 on this drive and use it as the startup of the operating system. I noticed that I can run applications that has been installed to 10.6, Autocad 2013 being a.

What I would do is make hard drive on the old hard drive space by removing the 10.6. I can do this without destroying the current installation of bootcamp and windows 7 install?

Due to the limited space on the SSD drive, after removing 10.6 I want to update my old applications and install less 10.11 but actually during the installation, install the actual application on the old hard drive files. Of course I know that it works, as stated above and previous experience.

Fundamental question needs to be able to always use bootcamp and windows 7 install I have now, even after the removal of 10.6. Is this possible?

Once Windows is installed (W7 in your case), it is autonomous. But it is very sensitive to partitioning of the changes/resizing efforts.

If you want to keep the old Applications (10.6) intact and on the old disk, but use the 10.11 on the SSD, the only space you get in return is at the heart of 10.6 OS. It is usually 16 to 32GB.

If you have verified that each of your applications is fully functional under 10.11, backup Applications on an external drive and erase only 10.6 partition. Create a reader of 'Fusion' between the SSD and the old HARD drive 10.6 and then drag Applications from the external drive in the Fusion drive application. It will also give you performance SSD for your Applications, rather than leave it on the HARD drive part that will slow them down.

  • Recent items no longer appear in expose / Mission Control / Application Windows cover flow

Until very recently, when I accessed the service "Windows Application" through the presentation, the bottom of the window of Mission control would reveal a row of recent items from the app in use.

Now it always shows recent items, but this list does not update accurately. The ' file > open recent item ' menu is exact, but recent Articles in the statement do not match this list and are not updated with the most recent articles.

I found a few posts on this topic of 2012, but they are a little dated, and none of them received very clear answers.

I use El Capitan on a 2.6 GHz MacBook Pro.

    Can anyone help with this?

I tried to reset the permissions and reindexing of these records. This doesn't seem to work.

Leave everything, stop, start in Safe Mode, log on and check how things work, then restart normally.  The safe boot through Mode erases caches and (temporarily) disables modules, and which erases sometimes bizarre behavior.

  • Recent items in Vista does not update correctly

I have a problem that the recent items on the Start Menu is not updated correctly.  There are a few documents out there, but there are many who don't are not who should be.  If I right click on the recent items and choose explore I can see a lot more files in the C:\Users\Pete\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent folder.

For example, there are few. XLS and. DOC files that I opened recently but don't are not.  However when I explore the folder I can see a shortcut to the directory that contains the missing files.

I tried many combinations of physically erase the folder, by activating / disabling the option elements recent etc, but nothing helped.

    Thanks in advance

I had the same problem. I fixed it by deleting all entries, except the default entry, in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RecentDocs in the registry. There are a bunch of other entries which are numbered for each of the files in the list of recent items. and the entrance to MRUListEx. Delete it all. Unfortunately, there is no file name but only entered, HEX numbers and letters. After doing this, Windows has started listing the files in recent Articles that were not show up there before.

I found that the problem has followed a couple of files that were present in recent Articles when I cleared the list a few weeks earlier. After these files are not present in recent items, but rather the shortcut to the folder appears. Also, I've found that the problem was with the actual files, not the folder. I opened the 2 files, Excel, and a Word document and choose Save under and added a 2 to name the document, save an exact copy of the documents. Each copy has appeared in recent and open items without any problems. Copies of rename the original name and overwrite the originals, reduced the problem. I searched the registry files to see if there's information about save them in a special place, but nothing found. They were only listed in the MRUlists for each of their applications, showing other open documents recently Excel and Word.

Since I had made changes to the documents and saved the changes in copies that end in 2, I chose save as once again and replaced the original files with updated copies. Now my original files, with the update of information, see and open from the list of recent items.

    Try this...
1.) Sart > right click on the recent items > Send to > desktop (create shortcut).

Start 2) > right click on the recent items > Open > menubar, view > sort by > more > scroll down to find the DATE, click > also put a checkmark in front of Date > right side, use the button move up, click and move the DATE to the top > OK > uses the Date header and decide if you want the list in ascending or descending order.
