Recently affected by slow and crashes

Recently - a week or so, I am experiencing extreme slowness and crashes. In addition, it seems the computer - an old, everything continues to run or looking for something, even if it seems that I'm on the website and there is no need to do that? This habit of not being a problem, but it is now. From a perspective of novices, it seems fair that the computer wants to keep it when he probably didn't need to? I keep getting two messages: Firefox does not - associated with the small hourglass and the script is unresponsive. Here is the message I get when things get slow and "refractory". I hope someone can help. I'm trying to catch up with the computer maintenance; disk and Defrag. But who makes no difference. I noticed recently that when I free up space on my hard drive, I continue to show that a lot of space can be cleared from normal? Thank you.

Well, for starters, the version of Firefox you are using is very old, which means that it is a very slow version. I would do the following to try to speed it up:

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from www.getfirefox.com. Install it.
  2. After starting Firefox, install all Windows updates
  3. Update all of your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.
  4. The analysis of the malware. You can use tools such as MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware, TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit utility and Microsoft Security Essentials (a good permanent anti-virus if you don't already have one)

  • MacBook Pro running slow and crash

Hi, I was faced with a slow MacBook Pro two years ago. It was incredible for the first year and I've been making sure to not save files too heavy on that and have only a handful of applications.

I've just cleaned new (I checked through almost all alone on my files for what I could get rid of) and it of still slow and crashes regularly. It also takes forever to connect. I recently encrypted disc, which seems to have made it is still slower. I use it to edit video and design, but they make crash all the time. He also says that I have 250 GB in apps (that is what takes up the majority of storage), while I only did less 50 GB.

I back upwards on the time Machine and I was wondering if I should wipe and reinstall, but I fear that the encryption could cause me to lose access to the files, and I don't know if I can simply restore my back upwards or if I should reinstall everything manually. Any advice would be welcome! Thank you

What exactly happens when it crashes? Is there an error message?

  • Premiere Pro CC (V.8.0) slow and crashes during playback

    Question:

Premiere Pro CC (V.8.0) extremely slow and crashes during playback. My video will not play unless I make (which is not a problem). I made all my clips and try to read. It usually allow me to watch the first time around. After that, the program hangs or becomes extremely slow. I even had a blank green screen pop up on my screen. Sometimes, the program will generate the message "a serious error has occurred" and stop. Other times, the program just locks himself. I'm not under all programs except by email.

    Here is what I tried:

    Cleared all my cache files

The value of my reading of mercury 'software only '.

After doing the above, restarted the program and the computer.

Don't made sure I had no RGB curves effect (as I saw it was a question of other threads)

    Remove all unused images

Delete all files rendering and a new rendering.

I'm editing of images requiring a Ultra key. I use a Three-Way color corrector. My video is not even 1 minute long, so I think it would be easy return and reading.

  • DM4 slows and crashes

I am running Windows 7 Home premium on my Hp TX sm4-1041 and specs are Intel Core i5 M450 @ 2.40 GHz with 4.00 GB of RAM. When I start windows, the CPU usage spikes upward by more than 60% and the laptop starts running slow and after a while it crashes. I got the windows and also analyzed the system. This happens at idle and when I do any normal work like browsing the web and all that for up to 90-100%. I'm worried because the laptop is only 4-5 months old.

    Help is appreciated. Thank you.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

  • V10 is slow and crashes, how to downgrade to v9 for a browser to work again?

I just got the v10 install automatic update of Firefox. It is now very slow, often hangs for long periods to 100% of the CPU, cannot be interrupted. I can't click on buttons or links for 10s of seconds after loading a page. Now, it is essentially a non-interactive application.

Decommissioning is not recommended in ordinary situations. Currently with Firefox 10 automatic updates suspended which might be an exception, but if there is an emergency chemspill release you an update, then miss out on that. Advanced users can consider installing multiple versions of firefox, a simpler method would be to install firefox portable 9 as an additional browser to use for the next few days while trying to investigate everything crashes and in the meantime all revised more to upgrade to a newer version of Firefox 10.

    change

In fact, firefox portable 9, reasonably; don't not more easily available, as it is now an unsupported version.

  • Satellite C50d-A-138 is slow and crashes

    Hello

I've had my laptop for 2 weeks, but it crashes and is incredibly slow.
Please help any advice would be great

Can you please tell us what model phone you have and what you mean with portable guard crashing?

Each laptop comes with the pre-installed operating system. All the drivers, tools and utilities installed and configured correctly. We do not know what exactly you're doing with your laptop and what software do you have installed also. Perhaps is there some conflict.

If you are not happy, how your laptop works I recommend you to reinstall the operating system using HARD drive recovery facility. After that make this laptop will be new factory settings. Next step should be the optimization of the OS. Remove the preinstalled software that you don't like or you don't need. Check Windows updates and change the settings for it. Do not use the automatic update option. This can slow down the cell if some updates are downloading and running in the background.

One last thing: you have created medi of recovery?

  • After "critical update" 12/23/11, my computer is very slow and crashes, also will restore the system.

After the "critical" update that is installed on my computer 12/23/11 my computer started running very slowly, he drove my Norton anti virus, blocking, I am unable to restore the system. any ideas?

    Hello

1 update you installed recently? (Please mention the number of KB)

    2. which version of the Windows operating system is installed on your computer?

    3. what exactly happens when you try to perform the system restore?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Run the fixit from Microsoft Fixit article and if that helps.

Fix Windows system on slow Windows performance issues:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/slow_windows_performance/

    Method 2:

Start in safe mode and check if the same problem persists. If the problem not persists in safe mode, then turn on the computer in a clean boot state and check if that helps.

    Step 1:

How to start in SafeMode in Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

Put the computer in a clean boot state, and check if that helps.

How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista and Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 3:

Check the installation update and try to remove the updates that you installed recently and then try to remove it and check if it helps.

    Remove an update:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/remove-an-update

And also ensure that there are no pending restart, if there are any pending restart, then restart the computer and check if that helps.

    Hope the information is useful.

  • InDesign problems - slow and crash

I've been using InDesign for almost a year now, and more regularly, it was simply does not. Freezing, slowing to the point of use, crashing without any reason.

I checked this issue on the forums before, but everything I hear is that I must ensure that I've updated (which I am), and it's a problem... shit.

Today it fell down about 7 times in quick succession on a movement of simple text box. Now, it seems to be crashing on everything.

For $50 a month I really expect a good product. More and more, it seems that this is no InDesign. If it was reliable, then Yes, it would be perfect. But I can't have a product coming from crashes regularly and need finger-crossing continued to work.

I also point out that if I call you or cat (which is not available today, I guess because it's a weekend), so there is no way of contact. It is also impossible to give a feedback. What a circular site! I've been a big fan of Adobe until this began to happen... now I'm not sure.

    Any helpful ideas?

Please install the latest version of CC 2015.2 (11.2.0.100). Based on the error log you posted I can confirm that this accident is fixed in CC 2015.2. Let me know if it still doesn't work for you in CC 2015.2

  • First pro cc2015.0.1 suddenly slow and crash

Used very well yesterday on a complex project.  I noticed last night that timeline operations slowed, however.  for example, simply move the head of reading and trimming clips.  I assumed it was because I have me adding effects and correction of color to the clips, but today realized that even with everything off, it was slow.

This morning I did 40 minutes of work and it crashed, I loaded my last point (about 5 minutes before) and PP kept crashing as soon as he had loaded.

Cleared rendering files to cache & then only restarted - no joy.  Is returned to the previous version (thank God for an incremental backup!) and found it worked for a while, still very slow.

First now wont even load. It is stuck on "loading host quicktimeexporter.

I don't have no any material added to my system or updated drivers because it worked 100% rock solid with PP CC2014

EDIT: a restart to load again, but it crashed very quickly.

It seems that maybe corrupted workspaces? When I loved the color workspace I have nothing until I have reset it.

Also the last crash that happened when I tried to customize the color workspace.

I have an updated driver available, but past experience says that they are often more trouble than they are worth.

    Could it be this?

I also have a universe of red giant installed, and I am using some of their effects.

Well, I managed to get vaguel usable again by creating a new project and import the old one in.

Otherwise I guess I should just it chalk up new version buginess.  Let's hope adobe can get on top of it.

Windows Windows (5352): an application to write to the file "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\Windows.edb" at offset 70025216 (0x00000000042c8000) to 32768 bytes (0 x 00008000) succeeded, but took an abnormally long time (91 seconds) is served by the operating system. In addition, 18 other requests to this file I/o also took an abnormally long time to be repaired since the last post regarding this issue has been sent 30 seconds ago. This problem is probably due to a defective hardware

I would check with the manufacturer of your computer to see if there is diagnostic tests that can be run on your hardware.

I also see that Steam.exe is not release handles to your user profile, then I would say you uninstall Steam and reinstall. Event id 1530 is just stating they were unloading the application, steam.exe. This type of errors can cause your user profile is damaged.

Let us know if that helps.
