Recipient cannot sign pdf (extended drive) form

I create a form using Acrobat Pro Extended to XI with several signatures, all recipients can sign the document except one person, the signature field is disabled, only echosign is available.

When I check the properties of the document on the recipients computer using Acrobat Reader XI properties security settings are set on "signature not allowed".,.

I sent the same document to myself and opened using player XI, but the security setting of the properties on my copy documents are on ' signature admitted " "

I tried other pdf documents requiring a signature on this system of recipients, and there is no problem, the signatures are allowed and the document is saved.

I don't know what the cause of the problem, could it be due to the Acrobat Reader XI parameters?

What should the player settings to ensure that signatures are allowed with any reader extended documents?

Thank you in advanced for your help...

Hi, Rave,

Acrobat Pro Extended to XI, that's what I used to create the form. But I had the recipients to update their versions of adobe reader to the latest version 11.0.09 and that seems to fix the problem.

    Hello

    I am using LiveCycle Designer V 8.2.1

I added a signature field in a new form I created.

The problem is that you cannot sign the PDF in Reader X. It doesn't do anything.

I have another form that was created by another user who is no longer there, and you can add the signature.

When I open it is Acrobat 9 Pro, I can sign.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

You cannot digitally sign a PDF document with player UNLESS the PDF has been "Reader Extended".  This can be done using LiveCycle ES2 Reader Extensions (Server product) or Acrobat Professional X (file > save as > Reader extended PDF)

  • Can't sign PDF in Reader

    Hello

I'm trying to create a pdf document that i can 'sign with certificate' Adobe Reader.

I have built a wonderful form with signature field

    • I built it with Adobe Acrobat XI Version 11.0.0
    • I want to sign up with Adobe Reader Version 11.0.6 XI

I "saved as" my lovely form with Adobe Acrobat as "Reader extended PDF"... but I can not sign PDFs with the player eventually. "

The only option in "Reader extended PDF" is-> "Fill forms and save in Adobe Reader"-> that works well in Reader.

Settings Secruity (played with the reader) of the 'extended PDF' says "signature: unauthorized."

How can I get this to work?

    Best regards

Acrobat Reader 11.0.07 and later allows the user to sign without being extended Reader PDF files. You are just a version behind.

  • After I send attachments, the recipient cannot open the document

    original title: documents

Hi, am having problems after I send attachments, the recipient cannot open the document?

That helps me, but not the recipient. We can only look at a Word, (file .doc) document, if they have the word or Word Viewer installed.

There are many people who don't use MS Word, but almost everyone has a PDF reader. This tool allows to convert the resume in PDF and who should make it readable to the person you send him. I can't imagine a company that accepts mail resumes would not have a PDF such as Foxit or installed Adobe Reader.

Although my printer print word files, cannot print .pdf, even through the software PREVIEW or ACROBAT files.

It gives the break signal... any solution about that?

    It is very annoying.

Thanks in advance for your comments or help!

    Hi Kpanag

I understand that you cannot print the PDF files from the upgrade to Maverick.

I'll be happy to help you with this.

I check and repair the authorization to drive on the Mac.
Go on the hard drive of the Mac, applications, utilities, disk utility, click Mac hardrive left side, click on verify disk permissions, when it is finished click on repair disk permissions.
(when it's over will show disk repair completed)

Run the Apple updates also. (the Mac uses probably drivers 10.8)

    Make sure Acrobat is up-to-date.

If you need more simply make assistance let me know.

  • Is it possible to send a document through EchoSign, but not allow the recipient to sign in fact that a certain number of days later?

Is it possible to send a document through EchoSign, but not allow the recipient to sign in fact that a certain number of days later? I often send contracts which have a period of seven days - if the recipient is not allowed to sign until seven days have elapsed since the date I send the contract. I was wondering if there is a way to fight against this automatically or if I should tell them that they cannot sign up to a certain date and count on them to follow my instructions.

    Hi Jamie,

From now on, once the document is sent to the signatories that they can esign it at any time and it is not possible to delay or set the least number of days before they can not esign.

Although EchoSign does not have this feature currently, but we can send your request to our team of developers to integrate the requested feature becomes available in the future.

You can also put your ideas on our page of ideas (http://ideas.echosign.com/forums/21617-echosign-general ) where your feature request will go directly to our development team.

It seems that something has been added in the folder on the drive. I would recommend http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.htmluninstalling the program, running, removing any left over parts of the record player (this could be the problem), reboot and reinstall. If all goes well, that solved the problem. Future questions about the player, you should consider asking in the forum of reader, is not.

  • How can I encrypt documents extended drive?

    Hello

I use the Java API of the livecycle TO encrypt a dynamic, reader extended PDF. I get the error message:

ALC-ENC-100-015 may not encrypt reader extended document.

    My case is the following:

A document is sent to some users. It is encrypted with a certificate. Users enter data in the document, encryption again and send it via e-mail. The document is never sent without being encrypted. A server receiving the e-mail, extracts the document and reads the data entered by the user.

How can I implement this use case when I can't encrypt the extended drive of the documents?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Kind regards

    Arne

The order of operations is always encrypt (first), drive to extend (second), (and if you also certify document) certifies (third-party) (when you certify a document, an "author" digital signature is applied to the document).

There is no way around that, the document must be encrypted first, then applied RE.

  • Cannot create PDF from Office documents

My Acrobat 9 Std installation was damaged, so I re-installed 9.0 and added all updates to 9.3.4. When I try to create a PDF from an Office document, I get a pop-up window:

Additional files need to be installed to create PDFS from this file.
You want to run the Acrobat installer in repair mode?

I clicked YES, with the CD in the drive; the process lasted more than 15 minutes and ended normally.

But when I try to create a PDF file, I get the same message again.

Any thoughts on how to fix?

  • Acrobat 6.0 and Windows 7 - is there a PDF print driver available?

    Hello
I have been using Acrobat 6.0 with Windows XP very well. However, I just got a new computer which has Windows 7.
I installed Acrobat 6.0, but cannot convert now all documents to PDF on this new computer. I get this error-
"The PDF Creator can not find the Adobe PDF printer driver and reinstall Adobe . Acrobat 6.0 "
However, reinstall Acrobat 6.0 does not help, nor does feature repair.
Y at - it a patch for this product? Download a driver for the printer so that it is compatible with Windows 7?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

The point is this, you will be lucky if AA6 will install on Win7. For VISTA, a few people got AA7 to work, but the first certified version was AA8.1.3. The main culprit is perhaps AcroTray with VISTA and Win7. You may be able to use AA6. If printing to the Adobe PDF printer does not work, try the printer with printing to a selected file. Then open the file in Distiller. This can work. I'm not sure that anyone has indicated no success with AA6 on these newer systems, but with your constraints of these ideas might help.

WORD 2007 requires at least AA8.1.3 to get the PDF Maker. You can always print to PDF, but not to use PDF Maker in AA6 with OFFICE 2007.

  • Cannot open .pdfs in Firefox

My wife machine is running Windows 8.1, Firefox 34.0.5 and Adobe Acrobat X Standard. Cannot open .pdfs in the browser. Clicking on a link to a .pdf file will open a new tab which will close immediately, leaving me right back where I was, as if I had never clicked the link. I can right click and then save money, download the file and open it in Adobe Acrobat X. But this is not what I want, and not the way it was designed.

Internet Explorer 11 open .pdfs in the environment described above, in the browser, with no problems.

I followed all instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/972278 and http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/cant-view-pdf-web.html. Instructions for Mozilla or Adobe can get operational.

As a nuclear option, I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat, rebooted the machine, uninstalled Firefox, restarted the machine, re-installed Adobe Acrobat, rebooted the machine and re-installed Firefox and rebooted the machine. Attempt for opening yields .pdf to the same result, even after uninstalling and reinstalling everything. What happens here? Why Firefox opens a blank tab and then close it immediately? Block jump - rises is set to off, and blocking the windows blocker disabled.

My own computer that is running Windows 7, Firefox 34.0.5 and Adobe Acrobat X Standard opens .pdfs in browser very well, without any problems.

Any advice? I'm pulling my hair out! Thanks for your time.

    Try the following:
