  Hello, I got 2 phone calls this week to an Indian sounding man claining it is from Microsoft and that my computer is attacked by a massive virus.   You can lock your documents folder to libraries (by default in your taskbar) icon. To do this, right click on your icon libraries, put highlight 'documents' and click on 'PIN to this list. To access this more later, you again do a right-click on the icon of libraries and select documents.

  Documents, media and other data can be found on the taskbar of Windows 7, but they will be added to the list of shortcuts for the associated application.

  You can check that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode (don't remember history).

  I have reactivated it as I had turned it off and it works, guess I'll try it for a few days now that I'm on 8.0. While the difference between what I ran on 7.0.1 this is I have reactivated earlier "McAfee Site Advisor" but then the main reason that I have no problems is that I avoid bad extensions.

  I see that it is not marked as compatible with 8.0 but many of my extensions are not anyway. I have

  and my McAfee Site Advisor is 3.4.0

  Not much more to add. Version 4 of FF worked fine with McAfee Site Advisor direct. I have the software McAfee total protection on my PC - as it turns out be the most reliable for you - so I trust in the Site Advisor - and would like to have this application available when you are using FF.

They used STRONG words that worried him as "your pc is to give personal information. Fortunately she was half asleep when she told them to call back.   If you allowed them access to your PC, then it is a problem. I considered reinstalling my OS and change all my passwords. It would also make sense, if you use the online banking etc., to inform your bank that you have a security hole on your PC. This will alert them to anyone using your current password to the Bank etc.
