recommendation of micro sd card

Hi all

First post be so soft pls...

I recently bought the new sony tablet z2 - 32 GB WiFi with jelly bean 4.4 (kit kat).

My question to you all, this is what micro sd card do you recommend (mainly for the storage of film data and app)... I've been watching SanDisk Extreme pro 16 GB which has 95 MB/s read speed and write speed 90 MB/s... Any thoughts or other recommendations.

Thank you guys

IIS on kill or should I, for the same price, just go with 32 GB of SanDisk EXTREME PLUS 80 MB/S (read 80 MB/s, write 30md/sec) and get double the capacity

You don't need that much in terms of speed. Try a Sandisk or Sony class 10 or UHS-1 16/32 GB.

  • Good storage format Micro SD card internal?

    Hey people,

Looking for feedback from users who have their microSD card formatted as internal storage extra. How is this work - not the phone still seem to operate/function smoothly? If so, how about some recommendations on micro SD that seem better suited for this cards?

To add something - if you format the card as external/portable... and you end up by internal storage space. You can back up everything on the card to a pc and then put in the internal form.

If you start with the map to the internal format, and you put more applications on it then will never fit back on your phone, you cannot migrate everything off of your card to a pc. If the card is in internal format, you may be able to move the photos to PC, but applications can be uninstalled or migrated to the inside until the inside is full.

In the G4 forums, a user just posted about how the SD card worked well under the name internal/passed until the Facebook app (it has migrated to the SDCard) got an update - it basically trashed his phone for awhile.

I see simply no reason to implement this (adopted) way until this that forced to do. Maybe N Android will work better, but Android M with adopted storage has much to be desired.

  • HP Jet 11-r014wm mobile: flow HP 11-r014wm and r015wm Notebook PC Micro SD Card info

I can't find a definitive answer to what is requirements and/or SD - what is acceptable for the micro memory card as capacity maximum/types of format requirements etc. I tried all possible user guide/manual I find HP and only have resulted in diagrams where it should - I know where it is, at the level of the material inside - I guess that if I wanted to try to dismount, to some specs.

I bought this one (blue) and a purple also model 11-r015wm for my children and they are great after cleaning up/uninstall all the bloatware, but my son wants to put a game on her and I need to expand the memory so I need to know what I can put in the memory card slot which is acceptable and compatible. I read across 32 GB up to 128 GB of people who say they have used in they are common, but I can't find confirmation of any commendable HP research I've done, all the info I've found are just critical of google, amazon, etc.

Help, please! I want to buy these cards as soon as possible and I'm so confused about what is not correct. I don't want to ruin by placing a bad. I noticed there are different classes, speeds and SDXC formats, etc. It's what I need-SPECIFIC actions that will be compatible in the expansion memory for my children this is HP recommended and approved.

Thank you and you will appreciate any info you can give.

I don't know what capacity micro SD card my Curve 8300 will comfortably support.  I have updated the software of the mobile phone version 4.5.0.55 (Platform 2.7.0.68) and want to switch to a higher capacity micro my current 1 GB SD card it.  I talked to a member of the technical support of O2 team this morning, who told me there is no side which version of the software that I had on my phone - maximum capacity bearable by phone from SD card has been set because of the phone to 3 GB hardware.  What he says is correct?  I'd like to put more things on the phone, & I believe things as videos downloaded from YouTube & convert for his role in a BlackBerry work better if you have a larger capacity SD card in the phone - at the moment, no matter what video I play tends to crash after playing for about a minute or so (audio continues) (, but the picture freezes).

Your people at O2 is stupid.

The maximum size of media card is depending on your version of OS.

Personally, I would recommend that you upgrade to a higher version of 4.5,.55 is old and was not so great, if I remember.

  • So I have a question about Micro SD card storage

I don't have this phone, however, I have a question or two that I would like answered before decide me if I have to pull the trigger and pick one up.

Storage card SD pickups: with the micro sd card you are able to load music on the map, and then, when it is inserted in the phone, you are able to listen to music from the sd card?

How is music managed overall with external storage? I have my CD collection torn from my computer and I really wish I could just move to a micro sd card and listen to it.

    Thank you

You shouldn't have problems playing music from the SD card as long as there is no DRM. If you ripped your music from a CD, you should be OK.

  • I want to edit the partitions on a micro SD card

I have a Raspberry Pi 2B model I want to start on the boot on its micro SD card partition, then run the command Linux Raspian of the partition root on a USB Flash drive. (The ' file commandline.txt is replaced by direct run from the USB after booting linux.

I made an image file Raspbian Linux on my MBPro and created a micro SD for the raspberry Pi card and verified that it works correctly in the Pi.

I also have a picture of Raspbian Linux on a USB 32Gig.

My trouble lies in the use of BSD Unix and Mac disk utility tools. In particular, I can't use the 'fdisk' UNIX to remove the partition root of the micro SD card and I can not use BSD UNIX 'fdisk' too remove the 'boot' partition in the USB Flash drive.

I don't have another card reader that I can connect it to the Pi, or I could use the Linux 'fdisk' to remove the required partitions.

    Any suggestions?

Have you tried using fdisk in the Terminal? I doubt he'll do anything you want, but it does not support dumping the partition table.

  • micro sd card compatibility upgrade with the cliq

I'm looking for a larger sd card for my cliq and I was wondering if there are styling problems or if any micro sd card will work.

For example, I was looking at this http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B001L1H0SC/ref=sr_1_1_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1270071274&sr=8-1&condi...

and I want to assure you that it will work on my phone before buying it.

Yes this card will work in the cliq. I have a similar one. This card has a 2 speed class, while mine is a class 6. But the faster the more money. It will work well. You can go to this site if you want to learn more about Micro SD cards and classes of speed here. http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital

It should help you to make an informed decision. The Cliq is capable of maps as large as 32 GB, but at the moment they are not for sale at the moment. 16 GB is more room. Let me know if the link will help you.
