LAPAC 1750 - radiation pattern

Hello

can someone please provide me with information on the radiation of LAPAC 1750 Access Point diagram?

Instead of using trial and error that I would sooner plan the deployment of units based on wireless fingerprint, so I can get appropriate spacing etc.  The information that I found that I can't decide if the unit is best ceiling or wall.  Is the unit of directional radio frequency signals come only from the front, or they go through the back too?  This could have repercussions on the interference seen on the floors above the unit.

Thank you

Pete

Answer:

No documentation but the ceiling is preferable, given that the dipole is used.

Hi, just a 1750 LAPAC PRO and searched the manual, but I can't find a solution to my 'problem '.

In the @ status and Statistics Web interface / associated Clients, I can see a lot of MAC addresses - is there a way I can rename them to something real, like the iPhone 6, iPad Mini, Macbook Pro, etc.. ? !

Its kind of hard to remember what MAC address belongs to which device ;-)

I don't think you can label these MAC.

I recommend their labelling in the booking section of IP for the DHCP server on your router or network card it is; If it has these characteristics.

I updated the firmware on the AP and it works very well for me, but when my client installs it is impossible to connect to the network.  Void connected nic cable directly to his laptop and it can connect just fine.  The AP continues to change from green to blue that tells me that something is connect, but may not obtain an ip address.  Any ideas?

  • Sense of mounting Yagi

Next week, I'll set up a wireless bridge using 1310's, at both ends with Yagi. My question is, how can I mount the Yagi? In other words, should be the antenna to another? How the signal radiates from the antenna?

IF you look at the yagi, one end will be fat elementts (longer items), and the other end will be shorter elements.

On the end with the longer elements will be an element that forms a loop... that is the radiating element.

The shorter items are "Administrators" of the longer elements are "reflectors".

You want to point the antennas such as shorter elements compete.

The radiation pattern is displayed with the specifications, just do a search on the main site of Cisco (or which manufacturered antennas). In general, it's going to be a long and narrow ellipsoidal model extending in one direction and a few "petals" around to the other side. The petals of the flower ("lower lobes") are the rear part of the antenna.

Summary: point administrators (the shorter elements) to another... usually the mast will rise closer to the back.

Also make sure that drip you pro-life loops through the cable strain relief of the cable and make sure it is not bent, kinks, twists, or cuts open / break the cable or sheathing.

    Good luck

  • AP1131AG RF model

I think the AP1131AG intended to deploy on the ceiling. It has 360 degree omni antenna. But what to deploy on the wall? Is the omni RF model changed to patch?

I believe that in both cases, the radiation pattern is a hemisphere (~ 180degrees).

When hung form the ceiling (dome down), it covers horizontal @ 360, floor to ceiling.

When hung on the wall, it covers of (180 degrees, mounting) wall-to-(mounting) wall, floor to ceiling.

The polirity signal varies (probably). Your hosts, it may be a good thing or a bad thing (laptops using cards PC tend to be horizontal polorization, integrated with wireless laptops tend to be vertical polorization, PCs with wireless NIC tend to be vertical, based on wireless USB can be a... depends on the form factor).

    Good luck

  • Problem in loop... How to create and lock a set of PathItems?

    Hi all!

    I'm a noob... a very confused

And I'm not trying to get this thing to work

So here's what I have. The first loop catches from geometries in the active document and he turns around itself to create duplicates. The second loop is supposed to work around several geometries autour geometries newly created.

But instead of creating a radiating pattern, copy the following code builds a Tower: for the second loop every time, he seized the last geometry drawn instead of what is in the 'Original '.

Can someone explain what is the problem? Thank you!

    NumPaths = 1 to frontDocument.PathItems.count

    Set myPath = frontDocument.PathItems.item (NumPaths)

    For index = 0 to 30

    Define newPath = myPath.Duplicate

    Call newPath.translate (100 * sin (6.14* index/30), 100 * cos (6.14* index/30))

    Call newPath.rotate (360 * index/30)

    Next

    Next

    The original value = frontDocument.PathItems

    NumPaths = 1 to Original.count

    Set myPath = Original.Item (NumPaths)

    For index = 0 to 30

    Define newPath = myPath.Duplicate

    Call newPath.translate (100 * sin (6.14* index/30), 100 * cos (6.14* index/30))

    Call newPath.rotate (360 * index/30)

    Next

    Next

    something like that?

first loop is a 'ring', in order to make this 'ring' turning around to make the sphere that you do a group, so the second loop duplicating the 'ring' (Group) and basically does the same thing as the first, but uses the group instead of pathItems.

        For NumPaths = 1 To frontDocument.PathItems.Count
                  Set myPath = frontDocument.PathItems.Item(NumPaths)

                Set myGroup = frontDocument.GroupItems.Add 'add a group

                  For Index = 0 To 30
Set newPath = myPath.Duplicate(myGroup) 'add each duplicate to the group
                            Call newPath.translate(100 * Sin(6.14 * Index / 30), 100 * Cos(6.14 * Index / 30))
                            Call newPath.rotate(360 * Index / 30)
                  Next
        Next

Set Original = frontDocument.GroupItems 'make original all groupItems instead of pathItems

        For NumPaths = 1 To Original.Count
                  Set myGroup = Original.Item(NumPaths) '

                  For Index = 0 To 30
Set newGroup = myGroup.Duplicate 'duplicate the groups
                            Call newGroup.translate(100 * Sin(6.14 * Index / 30), 100 * Cos(6.14 * Index / 30))

  • Colorful random Changing Patterns on iPhone 6

Comrade Applers, of the good day

I had a very strange experience with my iPhone... Last week, I woke up and found my iPhone looking like this... It is weird changing everywhere colorful patterns. It declined or was immersed in a liquid ever. He went just in case like that in the morning. I'm afraid it's a software problem. I tried to restore it as new and from a backup, but does not unfortunately. Someone of you have no idea what to do to fix this?

    Thank you in advance,

    MIkhail

I'm guessing that you were not able to retrieve the device from there. Usually the appearance of strange colors and patterns on the screen is indicative of a failing LCD screen. If a factory restore does not recover the device, then it is not software. I suggest that you take a go-Genius Bar to the nearest Apple store or service provider authorized Apple to have the material examined.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

Satellite T130 - 10G Touchpad screen pointer gets stuck in random patterns and laptop computer must be restarted to restore functionality
The center of the causes of "touchpad button" toggle switch by pressing the touchpad pointer to enter a random State like two fingers to zoom.

    b. I tried disable the touch pad buttons offending and only using the mode tap the buttons and the problem still persist.

    c. Finally, tried bending the entire keyboard instead of pressing the buttons and it has also created the problem.

This leads me to believe either the power key or flexion of the entire keyboard is originally is

    a. flexion of the touch pad causing the driver getting into a crazy State or require a recalibration.

    b. electrical connections causing the driver enter a crazy State or require a recalibration of bending.

Note: I have reinstall the latest version of the driver.
Also: American Toshiba support site that this problem exists in the notebooks of May.

Also: The touchpad is too sensitive, which makes it very unusable!

Have you tried to install the operating system and check the functionality of the touchpad with the factory settings?
Recovery image contains tested the touchpad and right and I don't think that helps the driver installation.

  • HP Z400: Z400 radiator Fan 4 pin 5 pin

    Dear viewers,

I would like to know how I can fit a normal radiator Fan 4 pin pwm on pin 5 of the z400 mb. I have heard things about the use of the 5 original pin and rewire the 4 to 5-pin fan, but how?

    Thank you in advance,

    Melpie, foxsailor

It is not as easy as you think.  HP carefully balances needs with the combination of the cooling fan and the heat capacity of the heat sink and apply a certain amount of gas PWM fan to make it work at a certain speed at the start.  The amount of gas PWM is specific and less PWM restriction will be provided as you increase the speed of the fan base in the BIOS, and as control of cooling of the motherboard, the infrastructure also meets specific environmental constraints (such as temperature rise).  So, even if I can dink with them to my heart's content, I let them HP standards.  If you want to dink, these key information:

The Z400s use widely superior ability 'performance' radiator and the fan with the fan 92x92x25mm.  This is because most of the value for the Z400 processors are 130W TDP max.  On the other hand, processors dual processor Z600s to the value typically run at 95 watts max TDP.  As a result, they get usually the smallest fan 'general public'.  The more expensive processors run fast in less time... the Z400 usual processors are more brutal (solution of higher voltage, that is why they are more hot for the same fast speed).  The heat of two processors inside the Z600 is something that HP had to master.  To cool the hot single processor in a Z400 was probably easier, and the hot processor got bang HP more for your money.

The Z400 radiator/fan performance belongs to HP 463981-001, and its fan is an AFB0912HH Delta, with the standard 4 son PWM input/output of the engine.  The 5th hole of the CAP could be empty if a heatsink / fan public and is busy with a rider from the land of hole 1 to 5, if it is a radiator/fan performance.  It is the motherboard know that performance fan is attached.  It cannot be said, running or RPM, what happens... So, there is room for impersonation here, but I'm not advisee who.  Those HP fans often have a HP reference number on their label (which is the direction of the air flow always).  Then, he often have a number of added modifier for HP, and in this case, it is - 7W32.  Which has to do with details of the number of threads, their length and the type of plug.  See the picture below:

This is exactly the performance Z400 heatsink fan, and this is the one I would buy on eBay where I hung just the peak of.  You can not see well, but it's a record of 5 holes with the jumper on the barely visible ground here.

Wiring: As conventional PWM wiring pins 1-4 are on the ground, + 12 v CC, rpm of meaning to the motherboard of the engine, and finally PWM throttle control of the mother board to the motor.  If you use a good silent PWM instead of a HP fan it will be too limited by the built in HP PWM of the butterfly and run too slow when plug you into the motherboard.  I discovered this with beautiful Noctua PWM fans...

The motherboard knows if you have an installed 130W processor and will protest if you do not usurp the wiring or give her the correct wiring with a good fan (which I think is now that you know which fan to buy).  There are also other HP taken 5-pole fans 4 son used you can get off of eBay that works too, and then you can experiment around.

You can retrieve a plug 5 pin a bad HP fan.  The ends of the Brown connector are usually intended for cooling case rear.  I also posted here on my Mouser.com source end of the plug.  You can extract the ends making metal if you pay attention while pressing the locking tab that you see, and you can gently bend back on this fragile locking tab thin then it will work again if you want to solder on a rider to the ground of the terminal 1 to 5.   If you run these HP fans in 12VDC, they run much too fast.   It's all an act of balance HP included.  Era Z620 and beyond the things have become more complicated.

    Hello

The air flow should move hot air away from the component and the tower.

A radiator in my example would be a radiator of CPU in a liquid cooling system. The radiator is at the back of the tower.

Your 1st method would push the hot air out of the tower.

This is the desired air flow to maintain the temperature of the ambient air as cool as possible case.

  • How to clean the radiator Satellite A210 - 11 p?

I've had this laptop for quite some time now and I noticed that the fan becomes strong enough. I'm sure that there is dust pilling room in there, even if I tried to vacuum the dust through the hole. Is there a guide to I disassemble the laptop and actually clean the radiator and the fan? Or is it possible to clean without taking it apart? Please guide. Thanks in advance for the help!

You must not open or should not disassemble the laptop because first of all, this procedure is very delicate and not easy, and second, you will lose the warranty!
In my opinion it s not worth losing the warranty and to laptops risk of damage.
Such procedure should be made by a certified maker Toshiba.

But if you don t want to send the laptop to the ASP in your country, then you can try to clean the cooling modules with a professional air spray. These sprays are designed to clean the portable fans and can be purchased at the other computer and laptop dealers. I bought a set of cleaning of an online store and it s very useful

I recommend you research a little in the internet for good deals.
    Best regards

The vacuum method is not bad idea.
I tried to clean my fans several times with the vacuum cleaner and I works BUT you have to be very careful...
