• Adobe screen recording software?

  Hi there just wondering if Adobe have, or work on any screen recording software like fraps, Action or Bandicam. I know that many YouTubers use already several Adobe products to create their videos and studied from a channel of my own and thought I'd see if I could leverage my subscription of the CC to help me with this side of things as well. If not I think this would be a great idea for Adobe to look into because YouTube is a big deal these days and many people earn their living to record gaming, tutorials and other. I think it might only be suitable for this software (if it does not already exist) that integrates with the premier, photoshop, illustrator etc. as all Adobe good software performs and maximize productivity.

  There are two products that I suggest that look you. One is Adobe Presenter Video Express (Yes, the name is a bit long), Adobe Presenter Video Express 11and the other is Adobe Captivate, Adobe Captivate 9 - creating e-Learning Content for Any Device.

  Adobe Presenter Video Express is probably the best choice for your use case as it will capture your screen and webcam and you can change then to show one another or both. You can also capture individual video stored on your computer, so you can work with them next to the Adobe Presenter Video Express.

  Unfortunately, I don't think either one of these products is included in the CC.

• Cannot record software instruments

  Captivate is the Adobe software that does what you want. It is available alone or with several different software suites.

• Ignore the ToolTips in the demo recording software

  Hi all

  I record a demo of the software. Until I click a button, a ToolTip appears. I don't want this ToolTip to save. Is there anyway that Captivate does not take into account the ToolTips? I know that you can convert tooltips to rollover captions and ToolTips are still visible.

  Any ideas how I can get rid of the ToolTips?

  I think that the option mentioned by Lilybiri is available in version 4 only and does not exist in 3.

  I might suggest that instead of trying to enter the screen before the ToolTip has a chance to appear, perhaps you slow down. To allow the ToolTip to appear, but wait for it to disappear. And enter via the print screen. Most of the ToolTips will disappear if you just wait.

  You can also check regardless of the request is one that presents the ToolTips. Some applications allow you to disable ToolTips.

  Many people here use Camtasia... I did a few years back, and I think it will work. What you need is a constant-frame-rate program, instead of the variable rate using many screen capture programs.
