Recover deleted iMessage conversation (just missing out on a single device)

Hi, I accidentally deleted a conversation from my iPhone and have no hot idea to recover, even if the conversation itself is still available on iPad announcement on Mac. While on the iPhone, I started the conversation from scratch, it seems to continue on devices. Is this normal? I have however with iCloud sync that was not possible. Anyway, no chance to recover without restoring it from a backup? I want it to be physically on the phone, does not not the conversation of the backup and export it in PDF or type of.

If you send to or receive from someone with whom you have already had a conversation, messages in this conversation may reappear. If not, see below.

You can only restore the database of the entire message, not individual messages or conversations. This will replace the existing database with an earlier version, so you will lose all future changes. If you don't want that to happen, move the folders indicated below on the desktop before restoring, then put them back where they were after you copy the contents of the messages you are interested in.

1 disconnect iMessage and all other IM accounts, as appropriate. Messages to quit smoking. Hold down the option key and select

    Go ▹ library

in the Finder menu bar. A file window opens.

2 replace the subfolder named "Messages" from a previous backup of the changes unwanted.

  • All deleted iMessages

So I woke up one morning and I've been texting my friends. I left on a conversation and entered another, and I realized that the whole conversation was gone except for a single message. I went in another conversation and another and realized that all my conversations contained only the last message you received. Thinking it was just one little problem... I completely closed off iMessage and opened upward. And to my horror, every last post had disappeared. Hundreds of texts and iMessages, with hundreds of photos and videos, and important information were all gone. Immediately, I cut my phone and rebooted... but still nothing. To date, the messages have yet to return. But the strange part is, when I look at my store in my settings, it says that I have more than 4.6 GB of registered iMessages. But of course when I go to the mail app I don't see a thing.

    I tried:

    Update ios

    Restart the phone

Contact the Apple Support by phone

Pc software third for recover data lost or deleted iPhone

Make more memory space by literally deleting everything on my phone; Apps, photos, videos, e-mails.

My phone is basically in stock now and he said that I have 4.6 GB of saved messages. And I still don't see them in the messaging application.

    I have an iPhone 6 (iOS 9.2.1)

.. and yes I can still receive and send texts and iMessages very well, but previous messages have always disappeared. It's like I started.

How can I return my 4.6 GB of messages?

    keep settings - message - history - message -?

  • You want to remove iMessage conversation - need space

I need to free up space on my 16 GB 5 s (ios 9.3.2) and there are more than 200 MB in my Messages folder.  This is due to particular iMessage conversations that I have not deleted because I need to keep.  I deleted all messages without importance and removed most of the media associated with the particular iMessage conversation, but still there is a lot of space.

I save regularly via iTunes to Mac, import photos on the same mac and then delete media photos for free space.  The iCloud back up also updates daily (not sure if this backup imessages however).

My question is this: iMessages are saved?   If I delete this conversation on my phone right?  I'll never be able to access it again?  If I restored the phone that they would return.   And finally, if I do a backup without these messages on the phone are they then gone also?

I have to just print screen or copy/paste relevant messages (Notes or similar) and then delete?

    Appreciate advice.

    Thank you.

    The messages are saved.

If you delete a message, then make a backup then the message went away.

  • Suppression of media in iMessage Conversation

Is it possible to remove the media in an iMessage conversation (as in WhatsApp for example)?

Sometimes you share videos to enjoy at the present time and then not check them again. It is, they take space on your phone.

    Hello jadrahme!

I can certainly understand want to erase the space once you have them shared in your conversations.  We can certainly check this!

You can delete attachments (pictures, videos, voicemails) by doing as described in the user guide: manage conversations - iPhone

Once you're in Messages and manage conversations:

Delete a message or an attachment. Tap a message or an attachment, type more, select other items if you wish, then press on .

Here, you can select multiple attachments to remove it at once.

    Best wishes!

If your iPhone has been set to use iCloud as default handler for Notes on your other email accounts, you can Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

Can you check what are the owners of this account by telephone and retrieve all the notes that could have been deleted accidentally. Your notes are managed by only iPhone, you can try to restore from a recent backup prior to the date on which you have noticed that the notes were missing. • Is there a way to recover deleted history sites? Also, a way to prevent unauthorized users to erase history?

Is there a way to recover deleted history sites? Also, a way to prevent unauthorized users to erase history?

You need administrative rights to do this. Be careful as it is possible to easily create a very difficult to solve waste.

    Run gpedit.msc

    Reach

    -User configuration

    -Administrative templates

    -Windows components

    -Internet Explorer

    -Delete browsing history

Disable the feature turned on 'delete browsing history '.

You also probably want to configure

    -InPrivate

    Disable the active InPrivate browsing

If you use IE8; Otherwise, the user can simply avoid registering in the first place.

    Also - the browser menus

Tools menu: Disable Internet Options... menu active

would be a good thing; Anyone who shouldn't be allowed to delete the history of should not be also change too much in the Internet Options.

For some reason, changes to this setting of group policy have no effect in IE6 and IE8 on a workgroup computer XP Pro.

In fact, I would like to disable the entire Tools menu item; However, there don't seem to be any means to do.

    Run gpupdate /Wait:0

Any user who cannot access gpedit.msc, editing the registry (regedit.exe, regedt32.exe) or mmc.exe may re-activate it now grayed out in the menu items.

Note: mmc.exe can be activated by right clicking my computer even as a limited user. Remove or deny permissions to these files for administrator users.

I would like to configure them on a per user or user group basis. Does anyone know of a way to do by not part of a domain?

I know no direct way to recover deleted history sites. Perhaps, they enter the trash somewhere. They may be captured by the network of monitoring programs, even if they have been deleted from the personal computer.

The photos have been put on the DVD about 5-6 months ago. Any chance of the hard drive recovery? After this period of time.

Also I have a return upwards I think they are on, but I can't find them. I've never tried recover point a to the top, so I'm iliterate to this process.

I'm running Vista Home Basic with Windows Live. The images were in Windows Live photo Gallery.

    Any help appreciated.

    Keith

First... There is a possibility of potential recovery or
all the files have been modified in Windows Live
    Photo Gallery.

In Vista... WLPG archives the unreleased original
    versions at the following...

    C:\Users\\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\
    Windows Photo Gallery\Original Images.

It may be a file hidden... change the following parameter
    If necessary:

Reach... Control Panel / folder Options / View tab.
... To check "Show the hidden files and folders" / apply / OK.

    -----

    Hard drive recovery...

Hard drive recovery is highly doubtful after
so long... the files would be more than likely
    replaced now.

There are programs of software designed to recover the
deleted files. The following freeware is an example...
a Google search will find more.
