  Has been a reported error when you saved last? Are you sure that you open the file that has been saved? It would be useful to have a look at the file MuseLog.txt in the folder "Documents". It will contain information about the backup and must have registered all errors that have occurred.

  The file is saved in a folder of cloud sync (Dropbox, Google Drive, creative Cloud Files folder, etc.)?

Just like a pre-emptive note: I had this problem before, and it was resolved by publishing a completely new site. I have saved the file under a new name, but also published the site under a new name and continue to encounter this problem. In addition, nothing is extended to the edge (for this thing of infinite width/length of browser).

  Do you remember the last time that your Media Player worked properly?  You can use the system restore (type it in the start menu to find) to go back on this point.  This restoration takes about 2 minutes and will not affect your files - no matter how far you go.  It simply restores your system files and settings.
