Recovery disk replacement for W7

Hi I have a driver that does not on my HP Pavilion #s5510y PC 64-bit model.  I use windows 7, because I can't move on to windows 10 due to firmware Nividia circuits installed in my PC.  I found the replacement driver for my computer on seagate, but because of the way the driver is corrupted, I can't make a recovery disk for windows using the current driver. Anyone know where I can get a recovery for my computer disk? Maybe and preferably through Microsoft

If you do not burn one when the machine was new then you can get one from your HP dealer.

This isn't their recovery process, Microsoft.

The manufacturer images this recovery Partition on your hard drive during their manufacturing process.

The recovery Partition was put there for you reinstall Vista in the case of a system Crash.

You also had to make disks for recovering the hard drive failure, if this process has been included.

  • How to make a backup recovery disk (usb) for my new XPS8700?

    Hello

Please bear with me as I'm pretty much computer illiterate.

I just bought a Dell XPS8700 with Win8.1 for my partner for Christmas.  It came with 2 TB HD cache & 32 GB of SSD.  Round 6 months. from now on I intend to buy a 120 GB SSD for upgrading its system & will use for the operating system.   I do not know how to do this (I have an idea... looked. vids online, etc.), but what I need to know is > how to make a backup for its new computer recovery disk (so that I can put it aside for when I get the new SSD).  I don't even know if that's actually what you still call it (recovert disc?) or if it is called "backup of factory drive?

Basically, I want to put Win8.1 on a USB key so I can use this more later to reinstall it on an SSD.

I bought a Lexar 32 GB USB (3.0) to use for this.

Can someone "please" give me a step by step on how to go about doing this?

    Thank you!

I need to wipe the hard drive on my M35 Pro sitting that the machine runs too slow now.
700 MB of RAM but not good.

I found my recovery disk but worry as it is said 1/2 which implies that it is the first of the 2 discs.
    Is this the case?

I have the disk tools and utilities, is considered to be disc 2?
Is there a way to make it past disc 2 or downloading if it is the case that I don't have?

    Hello

As far as I know older Toshiba laptops have been delivered with the Toshiba Recovery CD and the CD tools & utilities.
Due to the size of the image large image was installed on 2 s recovery CD
All CD s are marked and it should be easy to recognize the good CD!

It seems that you've lost the first game of the s recovery CD and that is why I would recommend contacting the Toshiba authorized service partner in your country and order the first recovery CD!
It s should not be expensive ;)

    Good luck

  • How to get system recovery disks

original title: need to erase my hard drive to get rid of a virus, but the laptop did not come with disks in the system, because they were already installed on the laptop. What should I do?

I bought a laptop computer three years ago and I had very little trouble with it. But recently, it has become very slow, even though I have plenty of hard drive on the left. When it's built in wifi suddenly stopped one day, that I took it to the geek squad in PC World, who told the driver he had been uninstalled and who, after having worked on my laptop and see how slow and it was slow, it was probably the result of a virus.

I was told my only option to remove potential viruses was to back up my files and wipe my hard drive for all files. I was quoted £60 for this service so I went home and saved the files I wanted to keep on my laptop hard drive. I wiped my old PC hard drive before you delete the virus and I could then reinstall Windows and the built in programs using records systems. However, I bought this new laptop and all programs have been preinstalled and came with no system disk.

What is the best way to go on my hard disk wiping programs and files without Windows, or should I just pay PC World to do properly?

    Thanks for the help :))

When you clean your hard drive, it is wiped away.

You must reinstall Windows during this process.
