Recovery of Acrobat Pro on a computer has crashed

I'm about to buy Acrobat Pro (student/teacher version) for my daughter-in-law as a birthday gift. She is currently teaching grade 3. My son tells me that your laptop may be on the verge of crashing. My is... if question it load the program on his laptop computer and the machine dies to where they need to replace it, is its use single license gone? Or she can transfer it to the new machine should for this purpose to be the case.

Please post on the Adobe forums, you can certainly install it on the second computer. with a retail license, you can install the application on both machines, but two of them can be used at the same time.
