• Red line in the middle of the screen in video Flash for Firefox

  I have a question where there is a bright red line vertically to the bottom of the screen whenever I try to view a flash video. It is exactly in the Center and is at - it if I use full screen or not. I have a brand new computer so I do not have previous versions of Firefox or Flash Player. I am currently using Windows 7 (64-bit), Firefox 3.6.6 and Flash Player 10.1.

  I have seen many other questions, talk about crashes and loads bad, etc., but I have these questions. Other than the line red, everything seems to be read correctly. • LaserJet pro 1415: cannot open the cartridge door and prints have red lines on them

  Just to close the loop, we decided to force the drawer open, because the printer was unusable anyway even if we have something broken. With a lot of pressure, the drawer open. We then tried to print something and a message there is a paper jam.  We opened the back door to clear paper jam and off broke a spring and a broken then only plastic parts. We cleared the jam and thought that the broken part just came to the door but was clearing of the works.  Then we printed out a page and everything worked fine.  If the door does not close completely because it is missing a piece, so what?   I have a portable Satellite P850, which is under warranty. I have two problems, one with the laptop with Toshiba (or maybe me)

  1. the screen of the laptop has developed a red line in the middle. It's still there even if is more noticeable on some backgrounds than others.
  It doesn't seem to appear on my TV when I use the HDMI connection but it's always on the laptop screen image.
  It doesn't matter what software I use and which is again on the initial screen, the one with the flying saucer on a stick? I don't know what to do about this. Any suggestions please?

  When im connected to my computer laptop hd tv with hdmi cable when watching films, there is a red line that appear in different places all the time the film is going.

  I think you should check the different HDMI cables and should check the HDMI settings and the different ports of the TV, even if the HDMI cable works very well with the PS3.
  The fact is that these lines does not appear on the TV using the VGA port and VGA cable so it has something to do with port HDMI, TV or the cable.

  In addition, you should check if this issue would be reading different movies from different sources (HDD, DVD, etc.)

  Last but not Lea I would recommend updating the graphics card driver.

  I can't seem to find this question anywhere so I'll ask it now. Just earlier today, I started my computer and started to do things normally. I went online and started to watch a Youtube clip before the screen started to Flash, goes black and back to the screen, then back to black, while also showing red lines horizontally across the screen. When it stopped flashing for a bit, the lines looked like clearly everywhere, almost like code seen in the "Matrix" movies I did not anything out of the ordinary these last time, so I doubt it's a virus but I tried to restart the computer and the lines are everywhere during the shutdown and startup of phases. It is a display driver that need to be updated or do I really have a problem here bigger than a pilot?

  Corrupted? Who doesn't look good at all... I'll try to update the drivers, if the flashing stops long enough to get online. I hope that it is all just too outdated to a driver and nothing else...
