• How to redirect to a different page after logging into APEX 4.1

  Dear all,
  Here is my requirement when the connection of users,.
  
  When they entered their username and password and press the login button.
  they redirect to different pages depending on the type of user.
  Here's my LOGIN_TABLE has 3 columns, more
  1 user name
  2 password
  3. type.
  The TYPE has 2 values, employee and admin.
  When the type is admin they should be redirected to page 2,
  reaining IE users used must be redirected to page 3.
  How can I do this? Please give some suggestions.

  Check it out. Guru user lands on Page 1, other land users to Page 2.

  Here's how it was done.

  a. the CustomAuthentication function returns a Boolean, but does not store the username anywhere. So I changed it.
  b. has created a named FUSER element of the Application (you can change the name and code as you wish).
  c. change the CustomAuthentication function to include the following line just before the return statement

  APEX_UTIL.SET_SESSION_STATE('FUSER',upper(p_username));
  

  So now the user name is stored and used in the session state.
  d. added the branch on Page 1, Onload before header that has Page 2 as its target.
  e. does the conditional branch using the lettering element FUSER. The condition is FUSER <> 'GURU', so that other users are directed to the Page 2.

• Redirect to two different pages in the same form

  I'm a little new to this. Hoping someone can guide me on how to do this. I have a simple selection list (below). If they the user chooses the selection in red I want to redirect to one page other than the cfform tag, but I can't understand how to separate options in the form in the same list.   exactly. Details have recently been examined here: {: identifier of the thread = 1955437}. You will find the link to the license document it.
  But OSH is not only registered with the database. If you have an OAS running somewhere, you can use the HTTP server that comes with this instance for APEX as well.

  Another option could be the APEX listener that runs on (almost) any J2EE container. The officially supported include the embedded GlassFish and the Open Source Edition of GlassFish, who both don't need no extra license.

  The cookie is sent to the browser to the login procedure. You can not access a cookie sent in an HTTP request in the same HTTP request. You will be able to access the next page, after the redirect to the login page after termination.

  I have a SelectList called 'P2_BUILDER_NAME' which is filled with a LOV based on SQL. Items associated with the Builder, including the address, postal code, phone, etc. are also on the page.
  
  Once these items are registered for a particular manufacturer and committed, the user realizes that they used the generator of fake and wants to choose a different constructor. I would like to be able to clear the elements on the page associated with the old constructor so that the user has empty items to new data of the manufacturer.
  
  I have created a process depends on: ASK matching the name of the SelectList (I read this in another thread) and the process sets the variables page on a null value, i.e. P2_BUILDER_ADDR1: = null;
  
  This sets the session to the correct values (null in this case) States after the page is sent, but the elements on the screen still contain the old values. Session state is set to ' only... "so that the user can navigate between the pages and values remain as input.
  
  I tried to create a javascript function that uses the $x_Value function to set the values of the page something again and had the function performed in an "onchange" on the SelectList P2_BUILDER_NAME event, but when the page runs it sends me to the login page.
  
  Is there a way to erase the page displayed when item values while keeping their session state on ' only... " ? Maybe a different javascript function?

  In the onchange event of the selection list, you can put code like: onchange = "javascript: $x ('P1_POSTAL_CODE') .value ="; $x('P1_ADDRESS').value = "; »
  Instead of inline javascript, you can also create a javascript function and just call the function in the onchange event.

  I don't know if it also works in 3.1.1 but in the latest version of the APEX, you can use $v ('P1_POSTAL_CODE') = "

  I use a "Auto complete field" in a page for research (Apex version 4.0). But I need to get the values of the 3 tables and when you click on the redirection of the value to one of the 3 pages based on the value.
  
  For example, I have 3 tables. 1 customer 2 Sites 3.Employees. When I enter "c" in the search field, I need to get values of 3 tables in this area "AutoComplete". • Cannot setParent to a page after the call to resetScene

  Previously, I put a Page as the scene. If I try to reset it, then set the stage with a TabbedPane then it works fine. But if I want to reset the stage and then you want to define it is parent to null and then delete then I get exception while affecting the null parent or another object. Why its happening?

  If the Page is administered by the Application, I suspect that resetScene() it suppresses contrary the docs.

  This seems logical, because the docs of setScene say that the previous scene is deleted if it is owned by the Application. I don't see why resetScene() would work the same:

  So, it seems like it after a call to resetScene() as the old pane no longer exists.

  'pane' become not NULL because it is just a local variable that contains an address, resetScene() can not change it.
