• SOA error after startup

  I have installed SOA 11.1.1.7 (pre-requisite for IOM 11 GR 2 Ps2) on one of the boxes solaris (first time on Solaris. Before that I installed IOM several times on RHEL and Windows).

  I get a bunch of errors after my SOA server goes into OPERATING Mode.

  Because of these errors, like no composites are getting deployed on the server. And I can't do anything to the IOM.

  It is a brand new facility. Yet, not even a user has been created on this server.

  Any help is really appreciated.

  Thank you for everything that you guys for trying to help me here. The root cause has made to feel stupid. I always check the Java version and it returns a valid response.

  Yesterday, my team member realized that java we were using wasn't a JDK. but just a JRE. For this reason some components not get erect so that we start the server. Finally, it comes to remind the servers to designate a JDK and everythign worked well.

  Until the other day I had any problems when I start my computer.  A few days when I started the computer I got a pop up titled 'HPPhotosmartEssential' box and it said "Please wait while Windows configures essential HPPhotosmart" and a few seconds later another popup box titled "HPPhotosmartEssential" the following information - "there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your personlel provider or support package ".

  I have more the OfficeJet J4680 printer installation CD but I don't have the software to download so I opened it upwards and it was installed in the temp folder.  of which I went to start and typed folder and opens this file and follow these steps...

  Open the file "Setup."

  Open the folder "Scan". Right click on the "scan" (windows installation package) file and click 'fix '. If no error message appears, once again, right-click on the file and select "install".

  Return to the folder and open "bpd_scan" installation folder. Right click on the file 'bpd_scan' (windows installation package) and click 'fix '. If no error message appears, once again, right-click on the file and select "install".

  When I clicked on repair I received a new window bpd_scan error message that says: Module C:\Program HP Imaging\bin\hpqebpd2.dll failed to register. HRESULT-2147220473. Please contact support staff. I clicked on OK & following the next step

  I'm glad you responded! I wanted to share with you all what I have solved my problem last night after having carefully followed the steps that I mentioned above. This way I can now explain the steps in a little easier way. When I started to experience this error on startup, I thought it was related to my network because it happened also when I turned the printer on and outside. I have to press OK, Cancel, etc. what felt like 50 times before my error message disappeared. I know it's a different file, but the symptoms are exactly the same, since an uninstall did not resolve the question or fixing things in Device Manager. It seems that the link you have provided very simple steps to a L3 uninstall. The great binding, but I found a simple way for the common user. Here are the steps that I took last night and my computer worked never better:

  1. I did a normal uninstall first. Don't forget if you have a USB cable, wait that uninstalling invite you to remove the cord but also before Setup tell you plug it back in. The complete uninstall took almost 25 minutes.

  At the end of the uninstall, you will get a prompt to click 'Finish', however I didn't click it. I've been waiting to restart my computer after I ran the disk cleanup utility in all programs > Accessories > system tools > disk cleanup.  This process took almost an hour.

  2 after disk cleanup was complete, I restarted the computer by clicking on the button 'Finish' the HP software that was always on my desk.

  3. after the restart, I followed the link to CCleaner and would like to mention to people not too savvy to be careful by pressing the green button 'Download now' more than once computer. It seems that there are a handful of commercial products that look like they tried to trick you into downloading the software.

  4. once the download is complete, CCleaner has opened and seemed much easier to use than I thought. I chose the tab register on the left, "scanned for any question," then selected difficulty scan after you have backed up files to remove (the software asked me if I wanted to save that I did). Sometimes you can scan up to three times until all problems have been corrected. As easy as it sounds, I still highly recommend reading so much about this product before installing it (see previous posts). This process was done very quickly, so I decided to use the file cleaner as well. Who did take a long time - about 30 minutes.

  5. this time, I rebooted by computer by stopping completely and then back on with the power button. I always liked this method instead of select "restart" your computer.

  6. I have confirmed my operating system on my computer will start and by doing a right click on 'My Computer' and selecting Properties at the bottom of the box grey just to make sure that I do not install the HP bad software. Then everything just re-installed the software at www.hp.com/support by typing the name of my printer tab support and drivers. The whole installation process took 20 minutes and even got an error at the beginning of my extraction process which stated "the Extraction failed.   8. Finally, I did a reboot to ensure that all boot errors went away and the computer booted faster than ever with no error. Final test of all the features worked great. I was excited to try these steps on my own last night so that I could provide a way to rephrase things for all those too afraid of getting deep into their computer files. I hope as the method to keep it simple you will also feel because that please don't forget, using third-party software comes with its own risks. Wallpaper loaded with white cursor, but NO start menu or desktop icon. A message appears saying "Explorer.EXE Application error, press OK to exit the application" or something very similar. Did not write the error code, but can get if necessary. If I press the OK button (which is my only option), there is still no icons on the desktop or the start menu. Only the cursor. No access ALT + CTRL + DELETE or something like that.

  Thinking about completely wipe the system and reinstalls the operating system. Any suggestions before I jump in this solution?

  Explorer.EXE error after the Restore Point of ERD Commander. Dell Inspiron B130. Recently clean installed XP SP2 on laptop. Installation of SP3, to 50%, battery dies the laptop right in the middle of the installation of the SP3 update. Restarted, XP starts with black screen with cursor only. ERD restart order and restore XP to the last known good config (I choose point immediately after XP clean install). Reboot to XP. Now the wallpaper shows as well as the error message saying "Explorer.exe Application error, click OK to exit Explorer" dialog and then I can't access anything. Any ideas?

  Step 1: Check if you are able to boot into safe mode without any problem. If you are able to boot into safe mode without any problems then try to perform the clean boot to safe mode. Also disconnect any external devices connected to the computer.

• Error at startup of disc

  Whenever I boot, I get the message

  The only changes I made were resize the partition about 60 GB with gparted (remember, the windows partition had about 260 GB free in any case) and installed ubuntu on this very place, I released.   I now get the same error message on my PC (Dell Dimension 4100) after the x Sockets in my house jumped - off the PC - and then back on later. PC has XP Professional on it. I looked through the XP CD Recovery Console - chkdsk reported mistakes - I've also run fixboot and fixmbr but I get the same error at startup. I don't seem to be able to start using the XP CD.

  Have you advice? In addition, my partners laptop has Vista and a DVD - RW drive - I would be able to make a disk bootable CD to start XP?

  If you put a different HARD drive in your current machine with existing XP is installed, you can have a bit of a problem.  If XP has been installed on the drive in another machine then it will search for the material of the other computer.  So if you put another drive in this machine, you may have to reinstall XP on it.  Or you can put this drive in another machine as a slave drive and save your files.  Anyway I think that you will be able to recover your information since you were able to do an installation to and able to navigate so that in the Recovery Console.
  Once you have your data safe, I would check with Western Digital for a disk utility that can test the drive completely.  At this point, he may be able to format and mark bad sectors and make it again completely usable.

  Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

   

   

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
