(Redirected) All new Inspiron 3647 desktop PC has very slow download speeds.

We live in very slow download speeds.  All other computers and devices in the House can stream video without problem.  Speed tests test our laptop Vaio 2009 to 16 Mbps download and 6 Mbit/s upload.  The Dell is the same download speed, but the download speed is 512 Kps!  It's like the beginning of the 1990s with telephone lines.  We called Dell a week ago and they told us to reload the driver for the wifi card.  The suggestion does not and we could not reload the driver and it made it unnecessary to the wireless card.  They sent us a new desktop case and put us together today and got the same results with slow download speed.  Need help with any suggestions that anyone has to correct the problem of download speed.

We have a new Motorola modem and a new Linksys router.  And as I said, TVs, tablets and other computers work fine.  Maybe it's just a [Admin NOTE: expletives deleted according to the terms of USE] computer?  It's our first Dell and I must admit, we are more than disappointed so far.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Desktop Manager 7 VERY SLOW sync

Hi, I have a Bold 9700.  I used 01:54 days ago Office Manager, when I upgraded to 7.  Now, it's VERY SLOW sync.  It took 1/2 hour or more for some 800 contacts and events of 200-300.  He used to take a minute to synchronize.  I tried USB or Bluetooth so the connection is not the problem.  I use Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I get just to the version 6 and version 7 simply plug?  Help!

    I found a solution

    BTW, I have 1500 contacts, ~ 200 events & ~ 400 notes. USB sync works ~ 1 minute

After the comQosants caused the final step to hang during the synchronization of the 'Preparing' Organizer overview of sync, I deleted Desktop manager by using Add/Remove Programs & restarted my PC

Then I downloaded the installer from the web site of Blackberry, I configured synchronization to replace the data on the handheld = "go to your device only"(outlook est ma principale source pour les Contacts, calendrier, tâches & mémos & que les données sont complètes) ".

    1 way sync worked well.

Then I changed the data synchronization, settings back to two lanes between your device and your computer.

It has worked very well for

  • My new HP Pavilion Desktop PC has no option for my old Canon Pixma iP 2600 printer usb connection

    Greetings:

I can locate is no longer the installation disc for my my old Canon Pixma iP 2600 printer.  I am able to install it w / add it as a printer in the Control Panel, but the Office feature fails to read that the printer is connected via the usb cord.  I'm not find no possibility to install it as a usb printer.  Please help as soon as possible.  I can't afford to replace the printer and I have several documents that I need to print today or early tomorrow, or there will be dire financial complications for me.  I NEVER had that problem w/Dell.  (the operating system is windows 7, which is exactly what I was running on my old dell model - I searched this forum and find a similar question, but that the consultant has been able to find a usb option in the drop down menu to the port facility.)  that option is absent in my attempts).

    Thank you!

Interestingly, I discovered (after wasting a ton of time online and on the phone w/less useful HP tech) that the problem was in the two faulty usb ports on the front of this new processor.  at this point, I plan to return to the model of costco and return to dell.  Thank you for your help.

  • ALL NEW Inspiron 7000 WiFi is Horrendous!

I got my Inspiron 7000 literally an hour (15-inch, i7core, HD 8 GB RAM 1 TB model) ago. That is fine, but the WiFi is sickening. It keeps down the internet connection and whenever I start troubleshooting it gives me a different problem to be fixed. First of all, it was a problem with the wireless card, then "default gateway was not available".  This is unacceptable. I work at home and need a SOLID connection. It's already enough Dell took almost 3 weeks to get the thing to me and now this. I am tired and frustrated. All other devices in my house will connect and STAY connected, so the problem is not on my end. I send this thing back? I hope not.

Hi, I had this problem with my Dell Inspiron 7000 series 10 Windows running. I am VERY frustrated by lack of Dell to help with this problem. For awhile, I successfully used a plug in USB Wi - Fi dongle (I disabled the internal Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7265 card first). I didn't have time to browse using phone Dell prolix. I was convinced that it was a hardware problem. Then I solved the problem: I updated the Intel driver (on the site of Dell). No difference. Went to Device Manager, right click the Intel WiFi thingy in network cards, then choose Properties, and then 'Advanced' tab, then I turned aggressive walk until way (no), disabled "disconnect wowlan (no difference), then attached power to the 'up' (no difference). Finally and successfully, I looked up my router wireless BT, found it is "802.11 b/g/n" and changed "wireless" mode in the menu computer laptop adapter: "802. 11 b/g and THAT worked. Instantly, got a solid connection. Great relief. Now, I even had a spare WiFi dongle for one of the laptops to work. I'm pretty annoyed that I couldn't find a tutorial online to Dell about this, however.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)

their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are

  • Satellite L300 has very slow wifi

I have a connection speed of 68mpbs and speeds of the following on the these currencies:

    Dell: 15mbps
    HTC Desire: 5mbps
    PS3: 20mbps

But on my Satellite L300 I get 1.2mbps.
It is using vista and has a realtek wireless card driver update. I have the computer next to the router.

Please can someone tell me why this is so poor.

There could be different reasons for this:
    -Old WLan driver
-For WLan of energy economy can be activated.

Have you tried to update the WLan card driver?
Have you checked if power save for WLan is assigned to the performance?
This is possible in the Windows 7 power management

  • New Satellite Pro U400-12y is very slow

Just bought Satellite Pro U400-12y with Vista Business pre-installed (1 GB preinstalled memory).
However, the startup is very slow and actually the computer seems to work in a time warp.

Any ideas? Is there a fundamental problem?

    Yes, I have an idea.

I think that the high amount of background processes affect the performance of laptops.
He should know that the U400 supports many different features and these features are controlled by different applications.

If you want you can start the msconfig and disable some unnecessary and unimportant process. Take a look in the Startup tab.

In addition, I recommend to disable and remove the preinstalled software called Tempro.

I did it on my system, and now it runs much faster

  • We have a printer All - in 6110 and very slow to print. a page in 30 min. new ink cartridge.

We have the all in one 6110 and now its very slow print new ink cartridge and the downloaded drivers but it shows only a page in 20 to 30 min. is not a difference in color or black and white.

    Help, please.

This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges.  I don't know if supports Officejet 6110 print reserve mode, but try the following: remove the black print cartridge and print a test page.  The printer prints at a normal speed?  Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced.  If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed.  If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.

  • HP 110-243w: desktop HP 110-243w very very slow

My elderly mother of 10 years of emachine with 1 GB of ram and simple memory layer dead so I quickly ran to the Wal-Mart the only store in town that sells computers and bought the best office they had with a quad processor, 8 GB ram, 1 TB of HDD and Windows 8, since updated to 8.1.  A few months earlier, I had bought a computer laptop gateway with processor quad, ram 6 GB, HDD 750 GB at WalMart when my 12 year Dell, started having modem problems and was very happy with the speed of the new gateway.  (I don't like windows 8, but the machine is fast.)

This HP 110-243w is slow, very slow.  Loading facebook my laptop charge 2 seconds - my laptop Dell 12 year, took about 4 seconds.  On the HP 110-243w, it takes 2-5 minutes before I can scroll down.  If I want to go back a screen it again stalls for 1 to 4 minutes before it scrolls.  Often, the whole page should reload.  I tried to run on wifi like laptops.  I am currently connected to the FIOS modem.  A speed test shows 58 MB/s download and download 61 MB/s, but when I try to load a real Web page, speed disappears.  Drivers HP page took more than three minutes, when I chose my windows OS 8.1, it took 4 minutes before loading the driver screen.  When I click an option such as "audio drivers", it took 90 seconds to show 2 possible drivers.

I downloaded everything new nd drivers installed.  I ran drive optimizers, acceleration routines, etc.  It's always incredibly slow.  I stopped the virus checker and other monitoring software and firewalls, and it is still slow.

I'm about to buy just another new no HP desktop.  Anyone know how to speed up this HP 110-243?    Does anyone know another CPU and/or the gpu that could be installed plug-and - play to replace the standard?

Personally, I was not amused that you bought a computer with a processor at 1.5 GHz, with a combination of processor (CPU) and the graphics chip (GPU) all shipped in a single chip to speed. And then you said that it was the best office that Wal-Mart had.

It is not the best of HP.  The model of 'w' is a special Wal-Mart.

He was rated by guests very badly and voted 3.3 5.  This means a score of 65%.

  • Computer has been slow to start, Blue Screen of Death appears and then it restarts.

    Original title: Restart the computer

    Hello

My old Compaq desktop computer has been slow to start in the morning and recently when I went to turn it on, it got stuck on the boot sequence, and it restarts just after the initial start-up. He never Windows logo or the login screen. I tried to use recovery disks of Lenovo's laptop of my husband as an attempt to get something to work on, but nothing helps, my computer continues to restart loop way. My daughter has tried to do something with the BIOS setting, which did not affect the issue. Rather than restart suddenly, the blue screen of death appears and then it restarts.

    Any help?

    Hello

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD (sale at retail or OEM integrators), which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

    See you soon.

  • Computer is very slow and IE does not work all the time.

I bought a computer from my old employeer.  He is doing all sorts of things, or should I say not to do all sorts of things.  It is very slow and IE does not work all the time.  They have questions arise and ask if the administrator oks things and other things like that.  It came with any disks.  I would like to wipe, clean and load a new disc, but I don't know where to find the disc or if I can do it.   Can someone please?

    Hello

Proceed as follows to contribute to these two questions. You can probably buy the disks of Vista machine to system or get
the former employer to do it for you if necessary.

Try these and it can also be a good idea to update your main drivers later. The General corruption can also play a
role in this issue. And even the TCP/IP stack might need to be refreshed.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

If no joy there's something blocking perhaps.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

    not better?

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

    Maybe need of these:

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.
