Reduce/enlarge 'Open' / 'Save' Windows

How to minimize the 'open' / 'Save' Windows, in Photoshop?  (I unconsciously 'did something' what does open in "Full" mode and can not minimize, take the corners...) Nothing!)  It is only affected Photoshop... Help!  Thank you!

    In CS when I resized the window open in Photoshop, it always opened for same size window each time I used the command open. Same deal with registration order.     I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help with this one, I think. You expect to be able to delete entries simply by touching delete on your keyboard when they are concentrated (that is how it goes for the removal of the form entries specific autocomplete in Firefox), but I have not tried.

    When I use "save under" on a document it opens a window full screen (so I can choose where to save it) but it stops me see the document that I am recording so I memorize the title - this used to happen with Windows XP. Anyone got any ideas how I can get it to open a small window (mobile)? There is no option minimize!

    I assume you mean a Microsoft Word using Microsoft Word document.  If so, please repost your question in the Discussion of the Office group at: http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.word.docmanagement&lang=en&cr=US where issues of speech specialists will be more than happy to help you with your problem.  Don't forget to give them the version of Word that you use in your message.

    If this is not the case, what program are you talking about (name and version)?  This happens with other programs?  Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the program to see if that solves the problem?

    I have an intermittent problem with Windows 7.  I tend to keep the programs up and running for weeks, because every day instead of shutting down the computer, I put on standby.  The problem is, after a few weeks to go in and out of sleep, the open/save as box stops in programs which were broadcast during weeks of dialogue.  Here is an example:

    I open word, excel, firefox, January 1.  I opened random documents by clicking through Explorer or just browse the web.  But I never completely close all programs.  I could open up doc1, doc2, doc3, doc1 close, open doc4, narrow doc2, etc..  All programs stay in memory.  After a few weeks, said Jan 28, if I select file-> open, the dialog box is not pop up.  I can open via the documents Explorer, but no file-> open.  Also, I can't make a file-> save as.  I can do-> file save (saves the document), but nothing that causes the dialog box.  It is reproducible in word, excel, firefox, or any other program, I leave the door open for several weeks.

    Here's the weird second problem.  Say I got word, excel, and firefox open for weeks.  If I exit excel completely, and then restart, the dialog box continues to work in excel.  But it remains broken in word and firefox.

    Everyone race in this issue?  Somehow I can fix this without having to restart the program?  The main reason, it's a problem for me is because I do not often know that this problem occurred.  Hopefully, I'll open a spreadsheet from a web page and start editing.  I try to do a save as, only to find the pop dialog box - up will not appear and I can't save the work I do.  Or I have a word document open for weeks.  I usually just hit the Save button, but this time I want to save it under a different name.  I can't do it while this problem is here and I have to close microsoft word completely to get the box to start working again.

    The key is that every so often, you have to restart things, windows programs, the computer itself, in order clearly to all the memory, unload all managers, the .dll files - indeed clear the cobwebs from the computer. If you do not, you can continue to run into the problem you describe.

    For my part, even if I do not turn off my computer, I restart from time to time to get a fresh start, for me, that means being able to have all the features with drag-and-drop processes; for you, this is the Save as dialogue box.

  • LR 3.5 opens a window maximized without ability to resize

    Just upgraded from 3.4 to 3.5 on my WIN 7 64 bit machine and LR open now in the enlarged without normal window resize options (Minimize, Maximize, Close) options. Fortunately, I have 2 monitors so I am able to open other applications on my second monitor because my first is covered 100% of LR. The only way to close LR is to use Alt F4.

    I tried to change the properties of the shortcut LR for example to run Normal Window, reduced or enlarged, but the results are always the same. Except that reduced opening causes LR open on my second monitor and does not cover 100% of my screen BUT it is still without resizing (Minimize, Maximize, Close) options and there is no available area for me to "drag" LR posted on this second monitor interface.

    Here is a screenshot of the upper part of the interface and the blue background of my office. Note that there is no 'border' above the file | Change | Library | Menu photo with which 'slide' make the window or where you would normally find reduce them, enlarge and closure options in the upper right corner.lr.jpg

    I love LR, but also need to be a good neighbor with my other apps. < g >.

  • Firefox crashes when you open a windows Explorer window

    I had this problem for 2 days, every time Firefox opens a windows Explorer window it would completely freeze, so every time I have try to save an image, look for a file/folder and so on. The problem started last night, but I had not added Add ons for firefox, plugins or installed new software on my pc. I tried to leave firefox alone when he did freeze to see if it be sorted, but when I went to check on it four hours later it was still frozen.

    My current operating system is Windows Vista, with a fresh install of the latest Firefox. Before I reinstalled it, I tried to launch reseting Firefox in safe mode, and delete my history, which none worked, neither does the new installation solved my problem.

    I just did a scan of my PC virus and it seems that the problem has been corrected, if someone else has this problem, scan your pc for viruses and to get rid of them, I hope that the problem should disappear as it has done for me.

    Just in case there are persistent pieces of malware here is the method of complete elimination.

    Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

    The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.

    Process tab - complete the process on AV. EXE and continue with the uninstall Guide.

    If necessary use start - computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to

    C:\Program Malwarebytes Anti - Malware\mbam.exe or where it is installed - if
    necessary right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes - Properties - tab - target line to see where it
    is installed.

    Right-click on it and rename it to ZZMbam.COM (or something different than now) and
    Double-click it, and then run it like this. You can rename it back later. Do the same with
    other programs according to the needs. Use this method to others as needed - NOT assume all
    a program deletes all or that it is no other malicious software.
