  I spent the delay time trying to take what I call the "degraded Monster", that is, the concept of the gradients did not come across that easily over me.

  Fast forward to this morning. I created a simple two color gradient by using the option new shade of gradient in the Swatch in Adobe InDesign CS5 Panel.

  My left color is red (CMYK 0, 100, 100, 25) and the right stop my color is dark red (CMYK, 15, 100, 100, 70)

  If I understand the concept of a gradient, the inside of any object (fill) that I have swatch using a particular gradient should mix color of window to the other, with in-between transitional colors.

  If I select the linear gradient, the transition runs according to a single linear axis from one point to another. If I select the radial gradient, the transition runs from the center of the object to the outside. I can reverse a linear and radial gradient by simply clicking on "Reverse" in the Panel gradient color.

  Now to my question.

  When I apply the gradient above, what I should see the selected object is filled with the applied gradient, with - in the name of the argument - #1 left and stop-color #2 in the right color stop. I don't see this effect, however.

  Instead, what I see, it's the stop-color #1 (dark red) on the left and the red color washed out (white) on the right. I want to see on the right is the stop-color #2. Not a faded version of it (where the 'white').

  In simpler terms, why I see a stop white-faded color at all? And how can I rid my gradient of this effect?

  

  The image above shows my gradient. Notice the 'white' faded part on the left; It should be red, not faded red. Dark red on the right is fine.

  

  This image comes from a MS Word document; I would like to than the gradient look: dark red on one side, red (or red) on the other. No discoloration.

  Simply select the rectangle. Use the gradient tool to draw a gradient from one end to the other. Probably is white to black as below.

  

  

  Open the gradient panel. Right-click on a limit. Add to the color chart.

  I add gradients to the nuances that make it easy to put to day/change.

  

  Double-click the new grade. You get the following dialog box:

  

  Change in CMYK.

  

  Change a limit switch.

  I didn't rename it, but I do it in practice.

  I have a strange problem. I have used many times before SQLT not only assign a SQL profile for a specific query, but also for the force_match of other issues with different literal values. It has always worked in the past. I run the following script:

  When I run the script, I can see the profile is assigned to the specified SQL_ID, but not for those with a different literal values (example: LIKE "< some_value >"). I know that we should use bind variables here and that will be recommended for the developer. The difference between the two plans, however, is huge (+ 30 minutes instead of milliseconds) and the impact on our production database is very noticeable when multiple users are doing the same. When I take a look at the different SQL_ID, they all use the exact same ineffective regime. Since I can't make the SQL profile on all of the SQL_ID, is there a way to eliminate the inefficient system of restraint? I used forced for several times and this is the first time, it didn't work. Help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  Have you checked the FORCE_MATCH_SIGNATURE of the SQL statements in question in V$ SQL?

  If they are not all the same, the FORCE_MATCH cannot help.

  Why they may not have the same thing?

  For example, if they use links AND literals.

• How can I eliminate the auto advance with advanced actions?

  In the menu slide of course, I have several interactive objects click boxes, etc..  They are all to do not pause the project as well so that the slide will automatically in advance.  My problem is that I want to auto-advance. I want the learner to select one of the four options menu (click on the box), but I also advanced actions on this page to indicate when something is finished.  (See screen capture below properties)  I can't modify or eliminate the advanced action, so this isn't an option.

  How can I set this slide so that I can keep the existing, fast action and demand that they select a menu option before moving on to the next slide (click box)?

  

  I understand something else, that your question is not on 'no progress' for all slides (for which you may use the TLCMediaDesign approach) but you talk about a slide in Menu. You already have several interactive objects on this slide, right? What is their purpose? Is there a reason why you do not use their ability to pause the slide? Maybe post a screenshot of the slide with the timeline when you explain the purpose of these interactive objects.

  If you have not checked recently updates to the extension, you can do it from the page modules. Either:
