Reduce the size of the image without affecting the animation

After hurt, I realized that the images that he I scanned are even too high resolution for my computer HD.  For my next project, I know, but for this project, is it be possible to know how to reduce these images in an appropriate way and replace so that I won't have to do any new images keys or something? A way that I can just edit the files in Photoshop and ask them to update to be low res in AE without affecting their size?

Generally, there is no simple solution to this problem.  Simplify your life by resizing your images in Photoshop by a fixed amount, for example 50%.  Then re-scale in After Effects the appropriate amount.

If there is an animation based on the scale on the layers, you can add a Null value to your model, parent the value Null to the layer in question and the scale of the signal zero the amount appropriate.  You can delete the Null value when you are finished.

Inadvertently, I had a graduated filter changed all 326 images in my folder. How can I remove this change of images without affecting other types of changes, I did for the other images?

Select all images, ensuring that you are in the develop module. Auto-Sync lights up and then just delete the graduated filter. You will need to activate the graduated filter tool and click on the PIN for the filter you have defined and then press the delete key. Then, you want to disable automatic synchronization. Now, just highlight the image you want to add the graduated filter and do your thing with her.

  • Replace images without affecting the interpretation?

    Hello group,

I often move or rename files while working on a project, so AE reported as absent.  When I use "Replace Footage" to find images, AE changes the interpretation of the images, which affects the composite.  Does anyone know if there is a way to replace images WITHOUT affecting the interpretation of the images?

    Fine thanks

    Brian

Apparently, there is no official way to replace without affecting the interpretation.

But it might be a fairly easy way: don't forget interpretation > replace > Interpertation apply.

It with the text of the interpretation rules file would make all automatic.

Hello world. Is it possible to blow up an image without his larger frame? In other words, I want only the photo to grow, not the frame, it's in. Thank you. Is - for hitting the command > button? I use a Mac is said by the way. Thank you, thank you

That's right, use the handles, hold down Cmd + Shift at the same time to constrain the proportions.

To zoom in, try CS5 spring tools.  When you work with photos etc handles, hold down Z and draw around where you want to zoom in or click on as needed.  Then, once you have zoomed in to where you want to go to release Z and you return to your selection tool.

  • Is there a way to reduce the size of images without doing it in photoshop?

    Hi all

I have a document with a ton of images, all of high resolution press ready. I need now this doc to the web, even at low resolution, the pdf file is still 6 MB.

Is there a way to reduce the images in the file for the web without batch processing in photoshop? Just curious.

    See you soon

You should be able to reduce the size of the PDF file by changing export settings. In the export settings you can flatten transparency (PDF 1.3 can produce a smaller file), convert CMYK to RGB (output > color Conversion), lower quality of resolution and compression (Compression tab).

  • Photos: Simple way to reduce the size of the image

I often need to reduce the size of the screenshots. You are looking for an extension or an app that would allow me to do. It's a simple task, but I was not able to find a way to solve this problem without export, then import the image. There are many applications that allow cropping images, but the apps/extensions similarly dedicated screenshot cannot reduce the size.

The feature I need is essentially the only preview on Mac offers under the menu set the size either in percentage or by the change of specific pixel size. An extension that can reduce, and then save the image under a copy within the Photos app would be preferable. An application that can access an image in Photos, reduce the size, and then save it in Photos would be as good.

    Any suggestions?

    I use Snagit

It runs in the background is available as a widget to take snapshots and add all kinds of cool effects

This is not possible - you can never make any change to the contents of the library - the only way to reduce the size of the image is by exporting using different size options in the window export

You can use a preview an external editor with external publishers for extension of pictures - I have no idea of what would be the results with that

  • Reduce the size of the image loses sharpness

UNTIL YOU GO WITHOUT READING ALL OF THIS, YOU MAY BE ABLE TO HELP BY ANSWERING A SIMPLE QUESTION:

I have a background that has outside dimensions of 8.5 "x 11".  In the project bin, I am also showing a layer (with transparent edges) that I've resized to 1 "x 1.5".  When I double click on the background to put on the screen, and then drag the layer on the screen, why is she not in look like to a small image at the top of a large?  Instead, it's huge, and I have to drag it to the size with the tool move!

    ===========================================================================

    And now, the history:

Running PSE9 under Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.

My project is a montage of images in format stamp on a background of letter size, as in the joint - commemorating the woman in the centerpiece.  I tripped but this kind of effort before with great success.  This small time pictures come out blurry, and it's because this time I have done one thing differently.

In previous efforts, I remember somehow reducing the external dimensions of an open file at about 2 'x 3' before the revision and finally adding a layer to the great background (with the help of move tool size to fit), though only when editing, I worked with a reasonable size image and not a stamp (probably using command +).  The final images were all sharp.   On this effort, however, my brain of aging has not helped remind me how to do likewise and I ended up working with the original photo, and then when I added it as a layer, I reduced by using the move tool - very awkward, because the edited layer image seems to be larger than the canvas, I was building , and the final images were blurred.

I started to read help about resizing, but it was much too much information for me to absorb before the end of the year, and I want to complete the work within the next few days. (The attached picture IS the ongoing project, and I whipped out in one day, albeit blurred).   I'd appreciate if someone could give me a step-by-step brute force to make in the way I've done it successfully before.

The answer to your first question, and the big one are very closely related. When you combine images, the resolution of the background layer (background) determines the resolution of the whole image. This means that if you have a background of low resolution (say, 72 dpi) and can bring you high resolution images (say, 300 dpi), adding content will be huge compared to the size of the overall picture. When you resize it with the tool move you do yourself a favor if you make significant changes in this way.

The best way to address the issue is to ensure that all your images are at the same resolution before you start (image > resize > image size). Also, make sure that your background is not a low resolution or the final result will be printed badly little matter how long you spend combining things.

  • Reduces the size of the HD DVD image for SD images in still

CS5 using, when I encode a sequence of SD, first in still, everything works fine.  When I downconvert an HD project by SOUL, it seems very well and shows full-screen in yet, but when I burn a DVD and read it, I get an image of reduced size in the center of the screen.

I'm shooting 1080 24 p with a Panasonic HPX170 camcorder.  I create files AVI Microsoft using the site.

I use a Matrox MXO2 Mini with Max display unit, so I am using these project creation settings:

    Matrox HD

    1990 x 1080

    [email protected]

I export the chronology of creation with the recommended settings in the Jeff Bellune CS4 tutorial to convert first HD to SD images for burning DVDs

    FORMAT: MPEG2-DVD

23.976 p PRESET NTSC widescreen quality

    VBR 2 PASS

    Maximum render quality

    Flow rate 2.8 min

    Flow target 7

    Flow max 8

    GOP PARAMETERS M 3 N frames12 frames

    Kh PCM 16-bit audio 48

    Multiplexer NO

When I make files and build a project with again, the image of the timeline and menu appear full screen on the review screen.

When I burn the project on DVD, it displays correctly in the mailbox on a def tv standard.

But when I play the DVD on an HDTV, I get a big picture of research in appropriate proportions, but it displays to approximately 3/4 size in the center of the black screen that surrounds it.  I can change the configuration of the display on the HD TV to "Zoom" and fills the screen with the image without distortion. "

I have the same problem of creating images to 1080i 60 fps and 1080 p 30 fps and construction projects with parameters in first and still.

I wonder if Miss me a setting in the SOUL or. I thought I had followed instructions excellent Jeff Bellune on HD to the parameters of the SD in the SOUL to the letter.

I would like to create DVDs that will play full screen on HD televisions and in the box to the letters on a standard def TV without having to change the settings on their TVs high definition to viewers.

FYI, I'm shooting in HD, partially to get really own keys to the course change, using the Ultra keyer in first. It works very well.

    Thanks for any help.

I still want to find settings that will build a DVD that can be played by viewers who don't know how to change the settings on a DVD player or TV sets.  I'd like my DVD disc to play in the same way that a disk trading DVD play a movie full screen with no adjustment for the DVD player.

Is not possible.  Even commercial/Hollywood records are incorrectly displayed by users who cannot or will not set up their players and televisions properly.  For example, to insert a DVD widescreen anamorphic in the DVD player and say the DVD player the TV is 4:3 (even if it's a 16:9 HDTV).  Cycle then the TV through all its report parameters; you will see quite an array of distortions and image sizes, only which is the right size of ratio and image.

That said, if commercial discs if displays correctly using parameters you have, then properly drafted widescreen DVD from en should work correctly as well.  2 BD players (which assume a TV 16:9 by default) display it correctly also indicates the settings on DVD players are false.

  • How can I reduce the weight of the image without losing too much quality?

    Nice day.

I'm still a beginner in using Dreamweaver.

I hope someone can guide me concerning the weight of the image.

The image of the banner currently weighs 1.35 MB (PNG24) - a picture with a logo.

Photography (24 photos on a single page, using the thickbox Gallery) weighs about 1.3 MG each (JPEG images).

Where can I learn how to reduce the weight of

    • the above PNG image

      and

    • the above JPEG images

    without losing too much quality?

    I would really appreciate guidance.

There are 3 steps to balance weight (file size) vs image image quality

    (1) the dimensions of the image (on the screen height x measured in pixels wide is all that matters). Dimensions more small = reduced file size.

    (2) compressed file type (JPEG for photographs, PNG, or GIF for everything else). Choose the file type for your picture.

    (3) the final compressed image quality - visually by comparing the final image for the file size final vs 'acceptability' (less artifacts)

  • Reduce the size of the image

A relatively simple matter. Using of 1456 CVS and a Basler VBAI camera A622F 3.0, how to reduce the size of the full image while grabbing a picture from the camera via an external trigger? For example, if the size of the real matrix of the camera is 1280 x 960 pixels, how can I reduce it up to 640 x 480 pixels when the acquisition of image while still watching the same area/image, but of course with a smaller image size (or less pixels per square mm)?

I ask this question because while applying the script in VBAI, the time of the loop does not my request to go beyond 20 parts per minute. I need the same script applied on a small image so that it takes less time to run, which increases the throughput of the part. I'm sure I'll lose a few details while doing so, but I think it will be an acceptable compromise for my application. I tested (using benchmarking) between large sample images and 40% reduced the size of the same images. It takes a lot more time using the same script on the big pictures against children.

The camera tool (Format 1 Mode 2 etc) help in this case? I would also appreciate if you have any other ideas / comments on this problem.

Thanks for your reply bruce. But my version of the 3.0 VBAI watch tool geometry which has an option "resampling". The problem has been resolved by choosing a lower resolution on it.

    Have a great day.

  • I'm trying to reduce the size of the image that I use for my wallpaper

I'm trying to reduce the size of the image, I use for my desktop wallpaper to fit the screen. Should what steps I take.

randy1945 wrote: I am using the Windows 7 system, but the options of three (3) has not helped. They were showing - Taskbar & Menu start - accessibility.

Hello randy1945, I'm sorry. I forgot a very important step. Trying to recall this memory.

When you get to the screen that displays the three options you mention, click on the background to the right of these options at the bottom of the screen.

This should provide another option to the screen where you can click on the Position of the image. This is where you can change the position of the wallpaper on the screen.

  • Windows XP: reduce the size of the image

    Original title: Mr.

I have photos that I had to go through power point to get the format to jpeg. Now, the pictures have a big square around the size of the photo. When I move the sides of the frame changes size.

How can I reduce the size of these pictures to adapt to another application

    Thank you

It is not really clear what you want to do, but if you download IrfanView(free), you will probably find that it can do what you want.

IrfanView can: discovered many types of image file (jpg not only); convert the file format of one image to another. Crop images; resize images (as well physically and file size); and much more
