reduced to a bookmarks bar icon

Yesterday, I had a separate bookmark toolbar line. Today I don't have. I clicked on display in the navigation toolbar and made sure the bookmarks bar has been verified. It was, but no toolbar is visible. If I uncheck bookmarks toolbar, it appears as an icon in the navigation toolbar. I can click on it to get to the toolbars, but I like them on a separate line. I use firefox on mac os 12.0.

  • How to remove the bookmarks bar icons?

    I got the icons disposed V28 and before but on update V29, they reappear and I can't find anywhere to remove. I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find no option to view only the text of the bookmark. Why do you need to change things when they worked very well? I just spent over an hour getting back to what I had. So frustrating!

    Sorry for the slow response, but it took me a while to finally make it work. I made some mistakes at first, but eventually figured it out and got it right. I'm pretty certain this allows to be replaced by a simple selection in options. So much easier and much less time consuming. I would like to know why it was deleted. In addition, it seems that Firefox to take significantly more memory in V29 what he use to V28 and before. If so, why is this?

    SImple, open the bookmark properties and erase the name, to open the properties of the bookmark:

    • Go to bookmarks > > show all bookmarks > > or press Ctrl + Shift + B click on the bookmark to see properties.
    • Go to page bookmark, click on the Blue Star to see the properties or press Ctrl + D

    This option in the Palette to customize does not affect the bookmarks toolbar. You have this installed extension that does this.
