Referring to the selected value of a Radio of a Select

Hi guys,.

I know it's may be a relatively simple matter, but I have browsed this forum and other articles and so far have resulted in an approach to my questions, but it seems that a more simple method can exist.

Problem:

1. I want to use a switch to display a particular facet based on the selected value to select a Radio
2. I have defined literals for each selected option.
3. my research led me to believe that I would need to create a support bean to refer to the value. (I have a similar requirement of reference / evaluate the string of text in a text input).
4. is there a simpler way? All the groovy expressions that I can see reference variables (links PageFlowScope or data).

In summary, I think I can achieve with a carob gum support, however I'm looking for a simpler method.

Can anyone offer please an alternative approach or the confirmation of my thought.

See you soon,.

Here is the code snippet without using any medium bean to store the selected value:

    Hi Zaza,

    As you are able to get the index of the current selected option button, try upward with the selection of the value of the view object using the index you have found as

    If (valueChangeEvent.getNewValue ()! = null)
    {
    selectIndex = int ((Integer) valueChangeEvent.getNewValue ()) .intValue ();
    Line selectedRow = AMImpl.getVO1 () .getRowAtRangeIndex (selectIndex);
    If (selectedRow! = null)
    {
    selectValue = (String) selectedRow.getAttribute ("RtNo");
    }
    }

    where AMImpl is the object of the application module class.

  • The use of JavaScript with radio buttons selected to assign a variable a value

    Hey everyone, a little new in Java and try to create a form for my work to request leave.  My problem is that I'm trying to assign a variable a value if the user clicks on a radio button or another.  Currently, they are incompatible with the following information:

    Name: Radio

    ToolTip: choice

    Button Style: check

    Radio button choice: Yes (this is the value of exports, that I think that I'm not sure how to use it correctly)

    nor is checked by default, but if a box is checked, I would have a variable defined on the "Approved" text, and if the other radio button is checked I would define the variable contains "disapprove".

    Here is my code now and thanks in advance for all the help:

    var S_auth;

    function auth() {}

    If (Radio.value == 'Yes') {}

    var S_auth = "approved";

    }

    else {}

    var S_auth = 'denied ';

    }

    }

    var employees = this.getField("Emp_Name").value;

    Supervisor of var = this.getField("Supervisor").value;

    var Leave_Type = this.getField("Dropdown2").value;

    var cToAddr = [email protected];

    var cCCADDr = this.getField("Email").value;

    var cBenAddr = this.getField("Sup_Email").value; If (cBenAddr! = "") cCCADDr += ';' + cBenAddr;

    var cSubline = "Re: leave request form for" + "" + employee + ', ' + Leave_Type + ', Status: "+ S_auth;"

    cbody var is 'your request for leave was' + S_auth + 'by' + supervisor. \n' + 'save the attachment of e-mail for your records. \n » ;

    this.mailDoc({)

    bUI: true,

    cTo: cToAddr,.

    cCc: cCCAddr,.

    bassujetti: cSubLine,

    CMSG: cbody

    });

    I honestly just want to have the subject line and the body to be able to show approved or disapproved according to which radio button, the project manager chooses.

    Yes, your script is now correct and should work.

  • Referring to the display of a selection list value?

    I have a table shape with a non editable column (display text, saved state).
    When I 'add the line' I want this column to be empty, but instead have a defined value.

    I put this to help

    default type: point (the name of the application or page element)
    default value: XXXX

    the default value is the problem. This value is (or should be) decided by a selectlist. The problem is that the value I want to put it is the value display of the selectlist, not the return value.

    If I just put the name of the selectlist P66_SELECTLIST as value by default, get the return value...

    Is there a way to access the the selectlist displayvalue instead?

    Thank you

    Andreas

    Well, create a more hidden element on your page that will display value and use this element hidden as Source as a table.

    For the hidden item, you can set the default value as a PL/SQL function

    declare
    v_dummy varchar2(100);
    begin
    select display_value into v_dummy from tbl_name where return_value = :P66_SELECTLIST;
    return v_dummy;
    end;

  • Radio buttons with a specific text necessary to provide in particular for the selection of RB

    Hi all

    Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.

    1. I'm not sure how to set up this script, because I'm very inexperienced in terms of coding.

    Each radio button has specific text areas to be filled according to the selection of the radio button.

    'Radio Button1' has 4 values/selection (1, 2, 3 and 4).

    Note: Option 4 has 3 separate text boxes must be filled (proposal4, Text5 and Text6).

    If a user selects 1: Text1 should be filled and no admission for Text2, Text3, proposal4, Text5 Text6.

    If a user selects 2: text 2 must be filled in and no entry for Text1, Text3, proposal4, Text5 Text6.

    If a user selects 3: text 3 must be filled in and no entry for Text1, Text2, proposal4, Text5 Text6.

    If a user selects 4: Test 4, Text5 and Text6 must be filled in and no entry for Text1, Text2, Text3.

    When I'm saying no entry, basically locked or will receive an error if the data is inserted.

    2. I am also uncertain where I would like to insert the code and how it works.

    Thank you in advance,

    Josh

    For the example given and newness to the coding, you might try to display / hide the fields instead of scripts. An example is attached.

    Discover the activities of each of the radio buttons. Basically, for each choice of radio, corresponding text fields will be displayed or hidden. (The default property for each text field is hidden.) Each choice will remove the text field data previous choice via a form of reset action applied to these fields.

  • Reset the other values in the list of selection when it is clicked on a selection list.

    I'm currently developing a report based on various selection lists. I have three selection lists. When I select a value in that I want them to have the value zero. Like that when I select my button GB the report displays only the information related to the value in the selection list, I clicked. (I've already worked my report based on a function, plsql referring to different queries depending on the valuses of selection lists and he needs 2 of the three to 0).

    Thank you

    Greg,

    I've made a few changes (no worries, you can export your application as x min there is to get him back if you like):
    1. I have modified your reports to simple sql queries and put logic in the where clause.
    2. I changed the first to the elements to make them more standard.

  • Radio station, which was to play the selected album.

    Is there an application of radio station for an iPhone that plays the selected albums or songs on the album artist. I downloaded, Spotify, Pandora, Slacker and iHeart, all artists are similar shuffle, I don't want to. I can do with Spotify on my desktop, but not the iPhone.

    Thank you.

    At least with the paid version of Spotify, you can choose what songs or albums you want to play.

    Streaming services these lazy ash and Pandora is not the type of license to play songs or albums on request.

  • How to determine the Boolean value selected in a mouse down event pane?

    I have a lot of Boolean controls and indicators in my VI and I would determine what boolean is selected (left click) on a mouse down event pane.  Can I do this without having to specify each of the Boolean in the case of event configuration?

    Thank you.

    Jim

    If you get a ref to your Boolean all they have properties that define it location and size. Compare the location click with the limits of each boolean and where

    Left< click=""><>

    AND

    Back to top< click=""><>

    you have found the Boolean value that ended the click.

    It may be easier to use the Boolean refs table to create a dynamic event and then use the ref returned by the mouse down to get the label of the Boolean value that has been clicked.

  • Selector - return and displaying the selected value

    Hello all, I have problem with selector which is connected to the simple XML through XMLDataModule.

    2. is it possible to display the value selected in the selector bar (after choosing and collapsing)?

    Thanks for any idea, I have been addressed in the morning but no reasonable results so far.

    Thank you.

    Karel

    Looks like you're missing the good at the end, add a ".title' in there like this:

    var selectedItem = piCountry.dataModel.data([ 0, selectedIndex(0) ]).title;

    Here is an example of a complete code of a similar selector to select a State, and also has a method to set the value of an external call and a method to change the title, once the switch has been reduced (must cover your 2nd question).

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] SelectOneChoiche created from VO instance with 3 fields: how to retrieve the value of all the fields of the selected element?

    Hallo,

    I defined a VO with 3 fields (A, B and C) and I would like to create a SelectOneChoiche that shows only the field as options from this instance of VO.

    In a managed bean, I need to retrieve the values for all areas (A, B and C) of the item selected by the user.

    I started dragging the entire VO instance to UI to create a SelectOneChoiche (in which I have chosen to show only the to field).

    Then, I created a for the SOC ValueChangeListener read the values A, B and C of the selected element, but the only thing I've done is to get the displayed value:

    System.out.println((String) ((RichSelectOneChoice) FacesUtils.findComponent("MySoc")).getValue());

    You kindly help me?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Federico, sorry I didn't see your answer.

    As you use 12.1.3 you can do this more easily than the code that I posted before. You can use

    {} public void onCountrySelection (ValueChangeEvent valueChangeEvent)

    FacesContext will involve = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    Make sure that the selection change is processed and the current link lov line has the new selected line

    valueChangeEvent.getComponent () .processUpdates (contxt);

    BindingContext lBindingContext = BindingContext.getCurrent ();

    BindingContainer lBindingContainer = lBindingContext.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    List JUCtrlListBinding = lBindingContainer.get ("CountryId") (JUCtrlListBinding);

    the newindex in not necessary, but ok let's get it (must be equal to the CountryId, the pharmacokinetics of the binding of the lov

    String newindex = (String) valueChangeEvent.getNewValue ();

    get the selected value in the list that is the selected line of the binding of the lov

    Line lFromList = list.getSelectedValue () (line);

    now, we can get the attributes of the line of lov

    String s = (String) lFromList.getAttribute ("CountryId");

    System.out.println ("CountryId:" + s);

    String s2 = (String) lFromList.getAttribute ("CountryName");

    System.out.println ("CountryName:" + s2);

    BigDecimal s3 = lFromList.getAttribute("RegionId") (BigDecimal);

    System.out.println ("RegionId:" + s3.toString ());

    }

    The form that I use is based on the location of the HR DB schema table. The CountryId is configured in the view object to display a lov based on the campagneVoir. This view contains thre CountryId, CountryName and RegionId attributes.

    If you want to get to the attributes of an action listener you can use this code

    {} public void onGetSelectedCountryLov (ActionEvent actionEvent)

    BindingContext lBindingContext = BindingContext.getCurrent ();

    BindingContainer lBindingContainer = lBindingContext.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    List JUCtrlListBinding = lBindingContainer.get ("CountryId") (JUCtrlListBinding);

    get the selected value in the list that is the selected line of the binding of the lov

    Line lFromList = list.getSelectedValue () (line);

    now, we can get the attributes of the line of lov

    String s = (String) lFromList.getAttribute ("CountryId");

    System.out.println ("CountryId:" + s);

    String s2 = (String) lFromList.getAttribute ("CountryName");

    System.out.println ("CountryName:" + s2);

    BigDecimal s3 = lFromList.getAttribute("RegionId") (BigDecimal);

    System.out.println ("RegionId:" + s3.toString ());

    }

    You must add the valueChangeListener and at least add the lines

    FacesContext will involve = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

    Make sure that the selection change is processed and the current link lov line has the new selected line

    valueChangeEvent.getComponent () .processUpdates (contxt);

    to ensure that the selected line is available when you click the button.

    And set autosubmit'= true for the field in the UI that displays the LOV.

  • create popup LOV values depends on the return values of select tabular list

    Hello

    My requirement is

    In a table, first column is selection list and second column is LOV Popup.

    I want to create if select user from the selection list value 'A' then displays the popup LOV values.

    If the user selects 'B' values in the select list and then display nulls within the popup LOV.

    Kind regards

    Arianne.

    Use the Popup LOV cascading given by Jari wool in this blog: Blog APEX of Jari: pop-up list of the 'waterfall' Article on slot form of

    Write your Popup LOV query such as if, 'A' is selected it returns other values it will return null value.

    Kind regards
