Hello

Before execution of export and import operations, it is essential to understand in detail the concept of internal identifiers (IDS) in Oracle Data Integrator. If you know its good to have look at link below to get idea on that.
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E21764_01/integrate.1111/e12643/export_import.htm

For 11g
You go to topology Manager. Then simply click on the icon to the right to update the button.
Export master repository
Logical topology of export

Then go to the designer. You can see the right button to update the button. Click it
Export working repository.
Just do the same process respectively for import.

For 10g
Follow this link
http://gerardnico.com/doc/ODI/Webhelp/en/UserManual/Designer/General/work_repository_export.htm

Thank you

If so, it is not a question of ODI but database. You must export the database (.) DUMP) and import them into your empty database.

Yes, you should be able to do so, if this is a new installation of ODI. (which has no references to the old install-config)

    Hello

  • Best way to import all of the objects located on a new master repository repository work

    Hello

We have two separate master repositories, one for all repositories of development work (development, ST, UAT, IAT) and one for Production.

What would be the best approach to export and import all the objects from the Dev repository in the repository of Prod work located on the master repository Prod.

Internal ID of all repositories of work are different.

We have tried to put everything in a solution and that export, but it does not work when we tried to import it.

Successfully, we have exported and imported a simple scenario, but it is not very practical because we have more than 500 scenarios.

    Any suggestions welcome,

    Thank you

    NIC

I have the same setup. I found it useful to group my scripts into folders and you can then export the records themselves, rather than the individual scenarios.  Import records in the same way that you would incorporate a scenario.  This means that I have only export/import of the 4 elements rather than 300.

  • Creating master repository error: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

    Hello

I try to install ODI in my VM.

I did the installation and creating master repository, I am getting following error:

I'm using Oracle & created as ODI_MASTER user with administrator privileges.
I will use it to load the metadata on planning (Version 11.1.2)

    Am I missing out on.

    Jitendra.

Seems missing grants on the user that you use to create the master repository.

you use Oracle... Grant connect, resource to . These two rolesa have sufficient access to db to create the master repository.

execuute the sql code of the sys user

  • ODI work and Migration of the master repository of prod Dev

    Hi all

We have all the maps and other information in the Dev environment. And we have a new together upwards to the ODI prod environment.

In dev and prod, repository IDS are the same. (Work of Dev = Master = 1; Work prod = Master = 1)

I want to export rep and master rep dev work and import it in the Prod.

When importing Master rep I get an error message: ' ODI 26005: you import an object from another repository with the same identifier. It is forbidden. »

Can someone help me on this

Your master repository and the production work should be different from each other.
    Thank you.

  • Can I create several referential work by using a master repository

I already have a repository creates in the topology Manager. I try inserting the new repository to work. When I try to save the new database server, I get the following error. Please help me, what I could do.

com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'AK_CONNECT '. Unable to insert key duplicate in the object ' dbo. SNP_CONNECT'.

The important thing in your error message is "AK_CONNECT". AK stand for secondary key (sunopsis) or unique key constraint (i.e., oracle). If you look for it in your database, you will find what is the problem. The same thing is also reported here: ORA-00001 unique constraint. AK_CONNECT broken

So, essentially, you probabely try to give a name or / and the coordinates of connection that already exist if you look in the SNP_CONNECT table in the schema of your master repository.

  • HPDM: HPDM replace self signed SSL certificates for server HDPM and master repository

I am trying to replace the automatically generated self-signed certificates (issued to DM) issued by DM server HDPM and master repository.  I'm NOT arbitration FTPS, HTTPS embedded HPDM or CERT Thin Client Agent server.

I already have CERT for the installation of our own internal domain CA for FTPS in IIS and the built-in Apache HTTPS server.  These work properly and pass tests of repository for both protocols.  I also have questions for Thin Clients of our internal CA very well.

I am interested in the HPDM real server cert and cert master repository. These are generated automatically when the two services start.  They use a very weak MD5 hash and key RSA 1024.  I can't find any documentation around that, with the exception of troubleshooting, in which you can remove these certificates restart services and they will be regenerated.

    Here are the paths certs\key
HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Controller.crt (Cert repository)

HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Controller.key (repository key)

HPDM % install Path%\MasterRepositoryController\Client.crt (HPDM Server Cert)

HPDM % install Path%\Server\Bin\hpdmskey.keystore (Both HPDM server and repository Certs and keys) (not sure what format it is in.  It is not PEM and P12 ok I can say)

There are also some HPDM % install Path%\Server\bin\hpdmcert.key.  Don't know what it is.  It's the key to the server HPDM but deleting it does nothing and it is never re auto generated in one of my tests.

I am able to replace the Controller.crt and keys with my own files CA internal those emitted very well.  The service started and no errors occur.  However if I replace the Client.cert (HPDM Server Cert) with my own service will start but there are Socket SSL errors in repository logs and the HPDM server could not connect to the master repository. I have no idea where the key file is supposed to be for HPDM Server Cert.

Can anyone help with this?  I can't find the configuration files for the service to generate their own certificates.  If I did I would try at least to change the config to do not use MD5.

    Hello

These certiricates between HPDM server and MRC are not designed for customizable. Please submite one scenario if you have concerns of security on it.

    Just for info:

hpdmcert. Key is for communication between the server HPDM and gateway HPDM

hpdmskey.keystore is for communication between the server HPDM and MRC

server_keystore is for the commhucation between HPDM server and the Console HPDM

  • Master repository HPDM4.6 SP3 - problem

    Hello

I have a problem with the implementation of master repository in HPDM 4.6 SP3 on Windows Server R2 2012.
First I put basic information in the management of repository and I did a test that completed successfully (attachment #1).

After awhile, I got an error of fixing #2.

Then, I tried to view the contents of the master repository and I had a #3 fixing error.

I tried to send two tasks to the test device - both failed ultimately (attachments #4 and #5).

I think I checked everything starting from the turn of the firewall, open all ports, resettlement HPDM and install it on another machine.

Any ideas how can I do Master repository works properly?

Yes, as my co-woker mentioned above, your FTP repository has not been defined according to the configuration of your RCM.

You must set the repository FTP at ftp: / / < IP > / HPDM based on the configuration of your RCM.

Note: The 'Test' button will only check if the IP and port is available, which can mislead you when given the 'success '. We are looking to improve it in the next version.

    Hello

Your agent starts successfully, but you are unable to test studio odi agent. Right?
Then is your agent and odi studio are in the same host? If yes then you use localhost as a hostname in the topology Manager. You can try to use the Ip address or full host name in the topology for you Manager connect to the agent.
You can also check ping and telnet to the port of the agent to check if it is blocked or not.

  • When I connect to my master repository that I would be able to see all repositories of work associated

Suppose a master repository has 3 repository work and every master repository and 3 repository work has different user credentials. SO, when I connect to my master repository I would be able to see all repositories of work associated with it?

Yes, you can see the working repository as well as the user name used for this. Go to the topology and expand the repositories tab. Under working repository, you can all repositories. Double-click any of the repository and you would be able to see a Cap. If you hit it, you can see the details of the user.

It is important you not only need to be connected with master only. You connect to repository work and check the same aswell.

    Thank you
