Remove the master repository ODI
Hi, I installed the odi on my system and did some work. Now I want to reinstall ODI and start my work from scratch. I tried uninstalling, then put it back, once again. When I try to import the master repository I do not import by saying that there are already. How can I remove my master repository?
I have no remote control. My version of odi is 11.1.1.6
Kind regards.
Yes, you should be able to do so, if this is a new installation of ODI. (which has no references to the old install-config)
Take the new schema master will allow fresh configuration.
Kind regards
Santy.

Issue by configuring the master repository in ODI
Hello
I just downloaded and installed ODI. I wanted to create the master repository in Sql Server 2005 (service Pack2). I gave the following string for SqlServer: / / < servername >: 1433; selectMethod = cursor; databaseName = odimaster; integratedSecurity = false. I also entered a valid user name and password. Apart from that, I copied the sqlJdbc.jar file in the OraHome_1\oracledi\drivers directory.
The above results in an error. All the world is facing this problem?
Thank you
AmolHello Amol,
If you are using the same connection details like when you configure the repository but simply by changing the name of the base, then in theory this should work.
It gives you the same message if test you for other databases.
How you start the topology are managing in the start menu?See you soon

Can I configure to always remove the master file?
Hello!
If I want to delete a file, I just remove it the cataloge, but to remove the master file, too.
If I use the button Delete, I get (boring) pop up, I want to do: (sorry, I have a German version, so I just try to translate)
- Remove the hard drive
- Delete (default selected)
- Cancel
Is it possible to avoid this dialog box? Or at least a chance the preset button, so I just have to use the Enter key?
In fact, I have to
- Press DELETE
- Press the left arrow key
- Press enter
It's a little boring and errors
Thank you very much!
PS: I just discovered, that ALT + DELETE is a shurtcut to remove the file from the catalog. It would be greate to have a similar shurtcut to delete the file in the file system.
Alt Ctrl Shift DELETE. But use it with great care, if use you it at all.

How can I remove the master clip effects
Hello
New to Speedgrade and working in a mode where I'm dynamically linked to first CC for my color correction. Work mode Master Clip CC and noticed when the main elements are done in Speedgrade, the thumbnails in first get Red underscore.
Saved our project in Speedgrade, but now we have decided that we want to delete all the Master Clip effect settings introduced in our first project Speedgrade. Is this possible?
Robert
I see your line red (under my 'fx' tag) in Premiere Pro indicating lumetri on the key after it was directly linked to SpeedGrade and vice versa.
Of course, delete main lumetri, in Premiere Pro or SpeedGrade (reset).
In SpeedGrade, reset of the primary or remove layers solves the lumetri effect, but Premiere Pro still gives an indication of lumetri, but there is none. (I delete all my lumetri inside Premiere Pro link Direct of SpeedGrade to get rid of the indication of lumetri).
In Premiere Pro, select the clip, go to the control panel effects, tab to the left, on the master, select lumetri and delete.

How can I remove the mast of a T231H monitor?
Hello.
I'll put up the screen for presentations purposes and I want to climb up on a wall; I removed the two p ' feet - easy to remove - just unscrew two screws covered with rubber caps, but it turns out be an impossible task to remove the big foot in the Center.
I'm very uncomfortable with the bezel pry-open to get to the screws that hold the foot and the pulley inside. I think there must be a way to remove it from the outside.
I searched the internet and came up with 0 results.
Please help me make Acer a good reputation!

FTPS (ftp over ssl) to the master repository connection. HPDM
Hello
I'm trying to configure the MR for FTPS (ftp with ssl). When I test the connection in the repository editor he fails to connect with the current FTP connection. The shared connection is successful.
I can successfully connect with the Filezilla client for the FTP site.
The Filezilla give a warning of a certificate not signed, when I click ok it is properly connected.
Configuration information:
Site - FTP is hosted on hpdm (2012 R2 server) with IIS server.
-certificate of self-signed
-port 21
Can someone tell me how to configure the repository Editor to connect to the ftp site?
Kind regards
Van Beek
Never mind.
I found a white paper of the connection to configure FTPS
HPDM wants you to use port 990 for ftps and not 21.

ODI-10150: repository to work with ID 1 is not related to the master
Hello
ODI 11 g (11.1.1) with Database 11g r2
I created the Master repository (odimrep) and
repository (odiwrep) of work, created from topology
Before the next step, during this time I was able to connect to connect to the repository of work and able to do all the work
I then created the repository of topology (odierep) running, successfully created.
After that, I could not able to connect to the repository, work, I get the following error message
Could you please let me know what I'm doing wrong configure the repository of the execution, I have to drop everything and start to recreateoracle.odi.core.config.RepositoriesNotBoundException: ODI-10150: Work repository with ID 1 is not bound to master: Definition in master ID:1, Name:ODIWREP, Timestamp:1337006142714 Definition in work ID:2, Name:ODIEREP, Timestamp:1337006565503. ..... .....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank youHello
It shouldn't really create any problem, if you create a working repository two differenct IDs. But the error messages you gave says, it's something to do with the repository IDs. Usually, we get this message when trying to migrate the code ODI within environments. However, it does not rise as an error message, just gives information and asks us if we want to save the new code repository work. We just need to say Yes and continue.
I suggest to all again, re-create repositories again. Maybe something went wrong when creating repositories.Kind regards

StartScen.sh->; ODI-1423: working repository is not related to the master rep
Hello
I'm currently running a very basic case of the command-line command against the local agent:
(using 11.1 ODI, Studio on Win7, agent on Linux RHEL5 run Oracle account)
./StartScen.sh IF_XKB_ADR_ENRICH 001 GLOBAL 5-NAME = xkagt
I get the following error:
ODI-1423: referential work THAT WORKREP is not related to the master repository
It is quite a weird because I can't seem to find all the information from this forum or on the web on ODI-1423 error code.
Also, my IF_XKB_ADR_ENRICH interface works very well from the Studio of ODI, for using the remote even very "xkagt" agent (this means everything is ok with work and masters representatives?)
My odiparams.sh file looks ok because the agent starts and stops ok and working scenarios for the account of the workshop (fact the Laflamme family use different credentials to submit a work from the GUI?); the information seems to be there on the master repository driver, url, user, Word of past.
I have tried to present the scenario of my PC with startscen.bat but I can't find the actual specifications of the parameter [AGENT_URL = < remote_agent_url >] (host: port?) documentation of ODI.
Any help is welcome.
Thank you"" "You're almost there. '"
When you connect to the studio of ODI, you have the name of the repository work (remember in the login screen) and I think that that is passed to the agent.
Whereas, when you use startcmd.sh, it should working repository name and one place to do that is odiparams.shThis error indicates that either you do not have your logical agent created for the context -
or
you give an incorrect logical agent as a parameter name.
I think that you specify the name of the physical agent as a parameter. You must provide the logical name of the agent. -
Agent is no t defined in the topology for master repository?
Hello
I created new Manager topology agent. I've updated the details of master repository in odiparams.bat
Then, I started the officer in the command prompt.
C:\oracle\product\11.1.1\Oracle_ODI_1\oracledi\agent\bin > _name = odi_agent agent
Then I am getting error like
2015 08-04 ERROR ODI-1443 error 13:00:04.056 when starting agent: javax.servle
t.ServletException: ODI-1405: Agent OracleDIAgent start failure: the agent is not
t defined in the topology for master repository.
After that, I started the agent in the master repository:
C:\oracle\Middleware\Oracle_ODI1\oracledi\agent\bin
And then I got error like below the screenshot
Please help me. Please solve this problem. I tried so many times.
Thanks in advance,
A.Kavya.
Hello
Your agent starts successfully, but you are unable to test studio odi agent. Right?
Then is your agent and odi studio are in the same host? If yes then you use localhost as a hostname in the topology Manager. You can try to use the Ip address or full host name in the topology for you Manager connect to the agent.
You can also check ping and telnet to the port of the agent to check if it is blocked or not. -
implementation of agent 11g ODI for multiple Master Repository
I'm working on a project where I had to create several master repository in different schemas of Oracle database. Now I am trying to setup ODI agent. To do this, I need to change odiparams.bat by replacing the encoded password corresponding to a master repository.
Problem is when I tried to change the odiparams I never saw any name from the master repository, I created. So, how can I setup in this case agent.
Hi2782749 ,
You will need to create a new folder for each agent. I think this post from Uli Bethke is always valid for all versions of 11g: from ODI: installation of several agents of the ODI on a single server. Sonra. Unlock the value of your data.
Kind regards

problem connecting to the database (master repository)
Hello
I am a beginner ODI.
J "tried to connect to oracle 11g pay do the test. But my connection is not always valid.
Is there a driver to install for ODI 11.1.7 connection to in to the database?
Hello
1.) first create a schema of Master_repo and work_repo your oracle database (or you can create a single dev_odi_schema for the master repository and work)
(2.) in ODI, create master repository using schema Master_repo
File---> New---> master repository Wizard
3.) of files in ODI---> New---> create a new ODI repository connection.
4.) now connect with newly created connection of ODI
5.) navigator in topology, there are referential tab where you can create the repository to work.
6.) create connection to repository work. and you can work in it.
