Regarding images from the Web fonts

Hi, I've just set up a temporary site, here: Homepage

When I download the site BC, ALL the text turned into images, which I guess means it will not be properly indexed by search engines.

Someone else had this problem?  Muse has not reported any warning when I downloaded from the site.

All thoughts, greatly appreciated.

See you soon.

Are you sure you are using the web and not the system fonts?

  • Drag and drop images from the Web browser

I would like to be able to drag an image from a Web browser in bridge. Now I have to open a window on the same folder windows Explorer to drag the images in, and I use them to bridge view. Looks like a pretty easy fix. Would make a huge difference. I am constantly collecting the images quickly for reference, and it's annoying to have to have a dedicated windows Explorer open for drag & drop window.

Yes, and it works even in CS4, just tried.

  • Is it possible to import images from the web in the Adobe sketch?

on iPad pro you can 'copy' or 'save' images on the web, but when I use the option paste in Adobe it just closed sketch application. Is this a bug? Is it possible to save and import the web images in Adobe sketch using the iPad pro?

You'll want to put the picture of your camera.

The film, you can use the image as a layer of photo.

  • Why can't copy and paste images from the web to Pixelmator or TexitEdit or other applications? This isn't past with Safari or Opera.

    Hi foxnao,

It is a known issue with Firefox 12. You can see the bug here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=749527

It is set at 13 FF which should be released very soon. If this is the big drawback, you can download the beta now.

    Hope this helps!

  • How can I stop the download of images from the site?

This is the first time I installed Firefox for Android. Don't see how I can block images from the web page and just take the content of the text. Thanks for your time.

You can actually set the same preference under the covers that you would use on Firefox for desktop PC: permissions.default.image. Here's where and how:

    (1) open a new tab to Subject: config (type about: config the Awesomebar and hit the arrow go or tap Enter).

You can bookmark it for easy future access.

    (2) in the search box, type perm and make a pause while Firefox filter list

3 scroll to permissions.default.image and type it, and then use the up arrow (^) to change the value from 1 to 2 (of 'allow all' on ' block all the ').

If you go back to your other tab and load a new page, the images must be missing (assuming that they are not cached).

    Success?

If there is an add-on for it (I have not checked) that might be easier if you find a site where you want the images because it is a hassle to switch back using about: config.

  • When I download a document or image on the WEB, see other my path of the file?

Privacy when downloading from a web site

When I download a document or image on the WEB, see other my path of the file? To help you remember specific things about a company or a person, I have nicnames for their files well, it woud be embarrassing if they were able to see those names somehow. Not that they are offensive... just ridiculous ;)

Number of files - particularly documents created by word processing programs and images created by digital cameras - contain "metadata", which may include personal or location information that'd rather you keep private.  It's completely outside any file name you have given to the file.

There are different methods and tools available to "scrub" the files before sharing.  For example, only Word 2010 has a built-in "document inspector" that allows you to watch and remove metadata.  See also http://lawyerist.com/how-to-quickly-and-easily-remove-meta-data/ you can use your favorite search engine to find more ways to remove document metadata.

Regarding the images, the files created by digital cameras usually have "EXIF" metadata included, which not only contains information such as the date parameters, time and camera, but may also include GPS information if the camera has this feature (for example, a camera in a smart phone).  See, for example, the results of this Google search: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=remove+jpeg+metadata

Some - but not all - file sharing web sites automatically scrub metadata.  It is safer to do it yourself before you download files.

And just to be pedantic, 'lung' sounds as if your system memory involves a lot of hot air.  The word you're looking for is "mnemonic".

Please be so kind to give me a solution for this issue.

You can use a browserfield to display web content in your application.  Take a look at the browserfielddemo provided with the BlackBerry JDE for example

If you ask how to connect to a web site, please see the httpdemo.

This example shows how to create a scrolling image field.

  • I have a work of Illustrator on that I want to put on a Web site, what format should be recorded and how do I reduce the size to fit for example one is an A2 poster, then how to copy the watermark for printing from the web is useless

I have a work of Illustrator I want to put on a Web site, which would be registered in? also, it's A2 How can I reduce to the web so that the image is not distorted? and when it's done how do I watermark it so if someone wants to print from the web is useless? I'm a novice at this.

    Hi Alan,

Sue moved you here...? You answered my questions for the most part.

As Jacob and I have said so when you are in Illustrator and you have your work open, select file > save for Web...

From there, you will see a new window opens and you can choose your type of file (png-24/jpeg) quality, you want to be saved to and size too...

    See how you go.

  • Edge of the Web fonts

Edge Web Fonts ... where can I get these or view them... I see that I can get them in MUSE, but I do not use Muse... I use Wordpress, Joomla and Dreamweaver... I see in typekit there are a bunch of fonts, but none of them are edge Web fonts... I'm whole creative cloud membership so I do not have access to commercial Typekit fonts... How can I get the script for Edge Web Fotns... code so I can use it in my site? I am familiar with the following site: http://www.edgefonts.com/ but it does not give the script tag to use... or a login... looks like its just general info... I guess that there is an app or a service that is to TypeKit, but at the edge of the Web fonts?

This http://html.adobe.com/edge/webfonts/ page should be able to help. http://HTML.Adobe.com/ is home to all the tools and services. You can watch the video of the live event in San Francisco yesterday (24 September) by http://html.adobe.com/events/. The video covers Typekit and Web fonts from 37:40 when Jeff Veen takes the stage.

And the cloud Apps Creative https://creative.adobe.com provides download links for some of the advanced tools and links to services such as one already mentioned Web fonts.

    Mac OS X 10.7.1
    Firefox 6.0.2
    Flash 10.3.183.7

The current versions of Firefox are 64-bit on OS X, if you need a 64-bit version of Flash with Firefox 6.0.x or you must start Firefox as a 32-bit application to be able to use a 32-bit version of a plugin.

    1. Closing of Firefox
    2. Launch the Finder and open the Applications folder
    3. Make a right click or Ctrl-click the icon of Firefox.app
    4. Select "Get Info."
    5. Select or deselect the option "open in 32-bit mode".
    6. Close window "Firefox Info"
    7. Restart Firefox
