However NO way to re - download is available?  I tried to delete my temporary Internet files & Cache + ran disk cleanup... niether have removed the download of my machine.  Also checked 'Add Remove Programs'... just to see if it was listed there... and it wasn't!  So certainly, the update is NOT installed, I can NOT delete the download that is perhaps corrupt... and preventing me to replace it with a NEW copy.)   ANYONE GOT SUGGESTIONS?   Help, please!  All other updates are installed on the machine... other than this one, & I'm off clues as to what to try next.   Thank you!

• Bug from Microsoft which blocks the installation of McAfee Security Suite

  Verizon and McAfee tec support worked with a problem on my pc, it just got a new hard drive and a new installation of XP installed, not to mention the 200 updates, including service packs 1,2,3. I never had no problems installing or running the McAfee products until 17 days ago. Between myself, McAfee and Verizon tec support, McAfee Security Suite has been reloaded 48 times. During each load, not an error or warning appears, the hard drive acts like it is written for and downloads are all successful, when you close the installation following the instructions once the installation completes, it not there no trace of McAfee on the hard drive accept for some temporary files and some registry entries.

  After the last attempt to McAfee to install a new problem exists, during the verification of your license and your password, bothe the name and the password are incorrect. I have went up to now download the setup of each update of Microsoft and ran an individual scan on each update but nothing has been found that is why I really think it's the combination code through a number of updates that creates this bug and bring it to life.

  Only Microsoft has all the updates with the original code, they must go threw each update and find the configurations added / changed on their updates to resolve this problem, I would muself, but I'm not entittled to access the database of Microsoft where the original code was stored and compare it to the code distributed by Microsof'ts 'SECURE UPDATE DATABASE ".

  DOES ANYONE HAVE A LIST OF A LINK THAT HAS MICROSOFT WHO CAN RUN A SCAN ON THEIR SOFTWARE FOR ERRORS LIKE NO OTHER SECURITY SOFTWARE DETECTS MICROSOF'TS UPDATES THAT ARE CURRENTLY ON THE WEB NEXT TO THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE SAVED ILS?

  Now, I have installed the Oracle BI Applications version 7.9.6.1. and the DAC is not installed with it. It is available in a package separate from the OTN site.
  
  Old Documentation says: "DAC installation is part of the * Oracle BI Analytics installation *", referring to what is said: what I've learned, it's there:
  1. "infrastructure oracle installation.
  2. "installation of oracle BI Applications.
  3 "Installing Informatica Powercenter.
  4 "Installation of DAC" in packaging separate.

  What operating system you are using? Is that your system is connected to the domain? Also try to create the folder in the program files folder & Windows.

  You are facing the issue due to insufficient user rights to delete the entries of the special program in related folders & registry.

  Follow the procedure indicated by Walter.If persists, then you need to log in with the administrator account & then you must try the installation again.

  I came across the same problem initially: the system would just stroll early in the installation process. Editing the grub command-line to boot the kernel with the following option solved the problem he for me:

According to the manual, now I need to install FSCM CD that I downloaded from the oracle e-delivery site. When I extracted the zip files that I received from oracel site, I don't see any files .bat or .exe files to install this apps. I'm following the correct procedure? Please let me know if I miss anything. This is my first installation.

  you do the right way but double check the size of the CD that you downloaded from the site of delivery electronic oracle, if you download the finances of PeopleSoft Enterprise and Supply Chain Management 9.1: Feature Pack - March 2011 V24363-01, it should be 1.2 g (make sure that there is no pause pauses during download)
  After extraction of the Cd, you need two disks under V24363-01 folder and you can find the installer at FSCMV24363-01\Disk1\InstData\

  Technically, there is nothing wrong in what you do. Since your log message, it seems, has already CSS configured on your system and is not in a working state.
  I would recommend, reconfiguration of the CSS.

  Complete the following as root user.

  $ORACLE_HOME/bin/localconfig delete
  $ORACLE_HOME/bin/localconfig add
  CD /etc/init.d
  . /init. CSSD run &
  crsctl check crs
  And you can check the logs for more from diagnosis to the suite.

  $ORACLE_HOME/log /<$HOST>/cssd/cssdOUT.log
  $ORACLE_HOME/log /<$HOST>/cssd/ocssd.log
  / var/log/messages / *.

• Satellite L450D-11V - not less then equal IQRL on the installation of McAfee

  Bought new by Satellite L450D-11v and after the first 30 days expired McAfee have tried to add this new laptop on my McAfee subscription existing that the extra cost is much more reasonable than another stand-alone subscription just to the new laptop. I already did this same exact process with a netbook Toshiba (XP) and laptop (Vista) with no difficulty.

  However, when you try to download the new license on the McAfee site, I get a blue screen installation with 'not less equal iqrl. There other details too but the screen flashes very quickly and beyond.

  Have requested assistance from McAfee, including uses of their removal tool to remove the trial version before you download the full license over several sessions of remote access with McAfee technicians taking control of the laptop, but all ended with the same result. McAfee now seem to be perplexed.

  I did a couple of full HARD drive recovery to start but always end upward with the same problem.

  The laptop is fresh out of the box - no software or additional hardware.

  Googling this type of error, the view seems to be that it is normally associated pilot but the laptop is all of 5 weeks?

  Any suggestions would be welcome.

  At first, I have to say that I did not like McAffe and first thing I've done is to remove the system.
  I just want to post my opinion on this.

  Toshiba offers McAffe with original images of recovery as a trial version. Each of us can do what to make the decision. Some people there out of the system, and some of them may buy a valid license and continue using the preinstalled version.
  I can't imagine Toshiba will propose something that does not work and I am sure that this registration procedure is tested by McAffe and Toshiba. McAffe is unable to offer something that will not work properly and Toshiba will also offer good additional software. There must be a lot between the two companies.

  My personal opinion is that there must be a problem with this add on my existing McAfee subscription. I have my 100% sure that everything will be OK if you do regular registration and pay for the new and valid license. I'm also sure that Toshiba is following exact this opportunity and offer this software in a collision with McAffe to conquer new customers 100%.

  My personal opinion is that this issue needs to be clarified with McAffe. What do we do Toshiba is to preinstall trial and built in recovery image.

  When I get it I just plug and play. I also lost windows 7 which was preinstalled, or I can also to buy a new copy of windows 7 and install it too?

  You must boot from the recovery disk to put the laptop in the same State as on the first day of purchase.

  The Toshiba Recovery disk format the whole HARD drive and automatically installs Windows 7, Toshiba tools and utilities, drivers, therefore, boot from that disk and you will need to follow the instructions on the screen.

  I'd be very suspicious of any Windows installation where the seller has NOT provided a product key.
  There are utilities that will tell you what the product key is a copy installed Windows.
