"Region error" on Tecra 750DVD

I reinstalled my Tecra 750DVD (new HARD drive) on the recovery CD.
I can play region 0 DVD ok and some region 2 ones (freebies of newspapers).
I get "Error region" play some region 2 discs - those sold commercially.
How can I "say" the machine that I am "Région 2"?
I don't find it in any of the manuals (very thick).

Hello

You can change the drive region settings in the properties of the CD/DVD drive.
Simply cliques and right on the drive-> properties-> hardware-> properties-> DVD region
But note! You can do that 4 times. Then the drive is locked and you will not be able to change these settings.

    I have a toshiba tecra s1. A few days ago I formatted my laptop and installed windows xp professionell (not the oem CDS). then I tried to install the energy-saving of toshiba for the cd and the latest version of the toshiba Homepage 1.00.34M. in both facilities, I get an error called
    "Driver not found" and the installation program does not continue :-(

    I just bought 5 Tecra M9 and I have the same problem with them whenever I start the laptop:

    "TOSHIBA Power Saver.
    A fatal error has occurred. This program will be terminated code 0x51A'

    And sometimes:
    "TPSMain.exe Application error".
    The application failed to initialize properly (0 x 0000043). Click OK to close the application '

    If I try to open Toshiba Power Saver utility from the control panel it return me to select power mode Toshiba in the list of management of power supply in Power Options, but there is not any diagram power Toshiba on the list.

    Have you tried to reinstall the Toshiba power saver utility?
    Please do it!

    I had a similar problem of Eve on my laptop satellite.
    I finally solved this problem by reinstalling the energy saving and the utility of Modules common Toshiba.
    The common modules are required to run other programs from Toshiba as for example energy saving.

    Just another clue; especially this program error appears because of a corrupted registry.
    You can use the freeware like CCleaner to clean the registry entries.

    I want to recovery my Tecra A6, but when I insert the first (of three) DVD and restart my system to get to the recovery

    Menu (when booting from the recovery DVD) just rebooted my laptop and every time I try this (very simple procedure) this

    happen again.
    That's why I tried to get it back to Win XP > Toshiba Recovery Wizard... in the first DVD in the 'BIN' folder there isn't

    a "RECOVERY.bat" batch file when I run this file will open a CMD window and checks are willing (and then the

    The recovery procedure must be on path:
    Turn on the laptop and press the F12 key
    When the bootable devices appear put the first media for recovery in the optical disc drive
    Choose CD/DVD media from the list and press ENTER

    actually I developed the application in 11.1.1.7.0 it works fine when I migrated to 11.1.2.3.0 get the error... the error was due to uix table served so I removed the statement... it worked very well with 11.1.2.3 also...

  • Nested editable region error - but I have no nested model

    Decipher an error message: I need help.

    I have a global model for my site. It was working fine, then it has been disconnected from the site when my computer crashed, so I plugged back it it using site manager and import the .ste file. Now when I try to save the template or use the model, I get an error message which makes it seem like I have a nested template, but I'm not using nested templates.

    Here is what the error message says:

    The < body > tag is at line 111. I checked for the end tag, and it seems fine. I also ran the command to check html and it found no errors.

    Any ideas what I did to generate this error message frustrating or how I can fix this problem.

    I'm not super tech savvy. I know enough to be dangerous.

    Invalid HTML table height is - there never is part of the HTML language.  The content determines the height.  His presence on the page, however, is of no consequence to almost everything and this particular question.  You should be working fine with this page now...

  • Tecra 750DVD: HARD drive does not contain valid FAT or FAT32

    Hi people, been problems since a week now.
    Old hard drive died so installed a new.
    Set startup disk in and it all starts to load and then I get the message "Windows 98 has detected that C does not contain a valid FAT partition FAT32 ot. There are several possible causes.
    Then at the bottom of the three options
    Device not found driver: "MSCDOO1."
    Invalid device CDROM drivers selected
    then
    To get help, type HELP and press ENTER
    A:\ >

    When I type FDISK all I get a message that says
    No fixed disk present.
    So I'm stuck.

    Any ideas suggestions? Can't see a way past it.

    I assume that you have placed this HARD drive in the laptop, but you have not formatted it.
    If you want to install a Win98 HARD drive must contain a FAT or FAT32 file system.
    I recommend booting from the Windows XP CD and format.

    Performing a recovery makes a difference. The only way to recover is to copy the customer of replication DB (which doesn't have these errors) to the master and restart the application. It seems to affect the documents at random in the DB. All of those affected have not changed since many weeks to months (they have been read but not writable in this time).   • Partitioning with multiple subpartions

    I have three columns that identify a line - id, code and region. I am trying to create a partition on ID and two subparts CODE and REGION.

    I don't know if it's the best way to do it, so I'm open to suggestions. I'm not really on the USERS tablespace, but I think that each column must have its own tablespace.

    That's what I have so far, but I get a syntax error:

    It is not possible. Oracle only supports a level of subpartitioning.

    You can partition by ID and then use several columns for the subpartition (CODE, REGION).

    I can't get beyond this black screen
    and I can't get into the BIOS?

    I found and read your other post regarding this problem and in my opinion the PCI Express error is related to a PCI device (i.e miniPCI module as WLan / Bluetooth, etc.) connected to the motherboard.

    Of course I can't say for certain that this question isn't related to a GPU malfunction.
    Usually, these details can be provided only by a technician who checked the laptop's hardware.

    Usually I put t recommend to disassemble the laptop. It s very difficult to perform this procedure and of course there is always a risk of damage part do such procedure without any instructions.

    In my opinion, it is bad material work and as far as I know only way to fix it is motherboard Exchange. I n t have this model of laptop, but I can presume that the GPU is fixed on the motherboard and cannot be traded separately.
