  The problem I am facing is I can't make the SESSION (and COOKIES) variables visible between them. If I login on the home page (mainstore.com), everything is ok, but if I then navigate to phones.mainstore.com, the site shows me I'm not connected, of course, because only variable USED to check if a user has signed in or not is not visible on this subdomain.

  I have read many articles on this issue, some of them offer solutions, but none worked for me.

  I just installed Adobe Digital Editions on my computer, running Vista. I tried to download their free samples 3. One, the first chapter of a book, downloaded immediately in Adobe Digital Editions and shown on my shelf.

  The other two, (books by Clarke and Dick) don't show in my library of Adobe Digital Editions, regardless of how many times I downloaded them. I found them in my recent downloads folder, but could not open them from there, either, as they had a strange extension (.pdf not, but something else).

  I tried everything in my meager abilities and am becoming frustrated. Can anyone help?
